Climate change has a significant impact on the of walleye pollock stocks assessment. Positive anomalies of the PDO climate index (Pacific Decadal Oscillation) create favorable conditions for northern populations, whereas for southern populations living on the southern border of the area, on the contrary, those periods when negative anomalies are noted are more comfortable. Subject to the implementation of the cooling scenario in the North Pacific Ocean, walleye pollock biomass centers may shift to the southern regions (the economic zone of the DPRK), which will lead to a significant reduction in catches in the economic zones of the Russian Federation and the United States, which are currently the main players in the walleye pollock market.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":"34 15","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140259814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During XX and early XXІ century fishery of Far East capelin near Sakhalin Island was more intensive in the years of high abundance. In 1930s annual catches of this fish was not more than 0,8– 0,9 thousand tons. In 1970s catches varied from 0,93 to 2,50 thousand tons. In 2016–2022 capelin catches attained to record level, 3,5–13,7 thousand tons. Grate catches connected by complex reasons such as large spawning biomass, intensive fishery and its season near Sakhalin coast and some others. It is already clear that the northwestern coast of Sakhalin is the most ideal for reproduction, growth, and survival of capelin in the waters around Sakhalin Island. Reproduction productivity of this fish species in the Sakhalin area of Okhotsk Sea is much lower as an annual catches.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":"19 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140261071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital tools like Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain enable data collection, analysis, process management, and interconnection of various entities within the APC production chain, facilitating informed decision-making, production optimization, and enhanced product quality. However, implementing digital transformation in the agroindustry faces challenges such as limited access to technology and infrastructure, shortage of skilled workforce, high costs of technology upgrades, and data security and confidentiality concerns. To overcome these challenges, attention should be given to education and training of specialists, financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises, development of partnerships among government entities, private sector, and academic institutions, and promotion of awareness and knowledge exchange.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":" 790","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139617604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An assessment of changes is given morphophysiological characteristics of fish and commercial qualities, mainly the degree of coloration of muscle fibers, with the help of which the efficiency of using the experimental feed with the content of the feed additive «AstaPet 10%» was determined. On the basis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the use of this preparation, which enhances the color intensity of fish tissues in the feed of LLC «PROMETRIKA», has a positive effect, which allows us to recommend this preparation for use in factories for the production of feed for trout and, later on, in fish breeding enterprises engaged in their production grow.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":" 705","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139617455","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
