Sergievskii","doi":"10.18698/1812-3368-2023-1-161-172","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18698/1812-3368-2023-1-161-172","url":null,"abstract":"The vapor-liquid equilibrium was analyzed for infinitely miscible binary solutions of alcohols exhibiting positive deviations from the Raoult’s law on the basis of the cluster model. The considered substances were by-products of the Fischer --- Tropsch process and various additives to the biofuel. Cluster model equation was provided to describe concentration dependences of vapor pressure over the solution on composition of the liquid phase. The model applicability included non-electrolyte solutions, which deviation from ideality was caused by preferential association of one of the solution components. The model equations parameters were the mathematical expectations of the associates’ distribution in standard state and dispersion of the association number. It is shown that the model equations adequately describe experimental data on vapor pressure for mixtures of various aliphatic alcohols with diethyl carbonate and ketones. For mixtures of hydrocarbons with pentanol isomers, the previously formalized method for simulating vapor pressure along concentration dependences of the mixture excess molar characteristics on the liquid phase composition was applied. The investigation covers the effects of key design parameters of Reynolds numbers Re = (1.78--18.72) · 103, longitudinal pitch ratios (PL = 1.44, 1.54, 1.64, 1.74, 1.84 and 2.04) and transversal pitch ratios (PT = 1.24, 1.44, 1.64 and 1.82). ANSYS Fluent software package is used to predict the flow pattern around tubes. The results of this study showed that at a constant longitudinal pitch ratio, the minimum friction factor varies with the Reynolds number and transversal pitch ratio. As the Re increases, the friction factor decreases. The minimum values of the friction factor were achieved for (PL = 1.24 and PT = 1.44) at Re = 1.78 · 103, and (PT = PL = 1.64) at Re > 1.78 · 103. This chromatograph was equipped with a two-beam spectrophotometric detector with the following operating spectrum, nm: 210; 220; 230; 240; 250; 260; 280; 300. To determine dependence of the drift rate on the elution parameters, comparison was made of the two samples average drift rates, which differed only in the parameter value under study. Hypothesis about the eluate temperature alteration effect on the drift rate was confirmed at the highest level of confidence. It was established that the drift rate increased in the most (by 26.54 times) precisely with an increase in the temperature by 10 °С. Twofold increase in the eluate rate led to an increase in the average drift rate over the spectrum by 81.65 %, and the twofold increase in the detector measurement interval --- by 33.82 % (despite this, hypothesis of this relationship was taken as false). Along with the temperature, activity of the eluate particles was increasing, and the amount of energy required for the electron transition to the higher energy levels decreased. The problem of drift readings is universal and relevant for many measurement instruments. Drift is caused by systematic alteration in the metrological characteristics of the measurement tool. As a result of the detector electromagnetic radiation energy absorption by particles dissolved in the eluate, such metrological characteristic of the spectrophotometric detector as the radiation intensity changes; and it changes randomly, which in 87.5 % of cases leads to a positive drift, and in 12.5 % --- to the negative drift","PeriodicalId":12961,"journal":{"name":"Herald of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Calculations were made for the laminar flow mode based on numerical integration of the nonstationary Navier --- Stokes equations. Various flow characteristics were determined at Re = 100--800. Results were obtained for the longitudinal speed profiles in various channel sections and lengths of the primary and secondary vortices at various values of the Reynolds number after the step. The friction coefficient distribution on the channel lower side along its length is presented for various values of the Reynolds number. For the difference approximation of the initial equations, the control volume method was applied; relationship between speed and pressure was found using the SIMPLE procedure. For numerical solution of the problem, the following QUICK schemes were introduced: McCormack's second-order accuracy, Warming --- Cutler --- Lomax's third-order accuracy and Abarbanel --- Gotlieb --- Turkel's fourth-order accuracy. As the evaluation object, a linear discrete non-stationary model in the state space was chosen, which was affected by external perturbations with the inaccurately specified stochastic characteristics. For external perturbations, upper limit of the anisotropy of the extended vector consisting of all the perturbing sequence elements was determined. Sensors were combined into a common network, where each separate node was able to use not only the own measurements to build an estimate of the desired output, but also the measurements received from the adjacent sensors. The model took into account the failure of specific sensors, where failures had the Bernoulli distribution. A failure should be understood as the random readings of a measurement device containing no useful information. The criterion is anisotropic norm of the system in the estimation errors from the perturbing action to the estimated output error. The problem was in selecting such adjacency matrix coefficients, where the anisotropic norm value in the estimation errors was not exceeding a certain threshold value. As a result of electrophysical interaction, primary and secondary emission currents appear on the wall surface. Based on the probe theory, mathematical model was developed to determine the current values of the combustion products ionized flow and spatial potential on the surface of walls in the power plant flow path. Parametric calculation of the potential on the wall at its contact with the low-temperature plasma was carried out without and taking into account the secondary emission processes. The results obtained taking into account only the primary currents demonstrate alteration in the potential on the wall in the range of --(1.5--0.5) V at the plasma flow temperature of 1,000--3,500 K. Results are presented of the design research of the wall floating potential dependence with various secondary electron emission coefficients in comparison with the known experimental results. Metal walls were characterized by formation of a shielding layer, where only the primary currents appeared. It is shown that their floating potential changes the sign in dielectric walls, as coefficient of the secondary electron emission decreases. Parametric calculation of the current value near the wall was carried out showing that with an increase in pressure by 0.1--10 MPa, the current value was changing in the range of 0.005--0.025 A","PeriodicalId":12961,"journal":{"name":"Herald of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. It was found that SiO2 addition to the CaO-ATZ-ceramic ensured manifestation of the signs of plasticity at the room temperature, i.e., yield stage in the loading diagrams. The most pronounced plasticization was manifested at the silicon dioxide content of 4 mol. %. In this case, plastic deformation (calculated as the difference between deformations corresponding to the tensile strength and conditional yield strength) reached the 0.79 % value. In addition, introduction of the SiO2 additive (2 mol. % concentration) caused an increase in the ultimate compressive strength to the value of 2.66 GPa and ultimate strain to the value of 1.79 %. It was shown that exceeding the threshold value of the SiO2 concentration (by more than 4.5 mol. %) caused a sharp embrittlement of the CaO-ATZ+SiO2-ceramics. Discovered ceramics plasticity at the room temperature is explained by an increase in the tetragonal phase transformability of zirconium dioxide, which enhances the role of the transformation toughening mechanism. Plasticity margin of the composite ceramics based on the zirconium dioxide was achieved at the room temperature and provides a prospect for expanding the area of its practical applications","PeriodicalId":12961,"journal":{"name":"Herald of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Batteries could not be used without a control system, which development requires a mathematical model to predict the state of a separate battery. The Takagi --- Sugeno fuzzy system (fuzzy model) could become such a model. There are methods for automatic construction of fuzzy models according to the table of observations. However, unambiguous criteriafor selecting the appropriate method in each specific case are missing. The problem is considered of determining a method making it possible to obtain a fuzzy model that predicts the lithiumion battery voltage from the load current and the state of charge when discharging with direct current with the lowest meansquare error. The existing methods and their classes were reviewed, and five methods were selected for comparison. Prediction error by all the models obtained was unevenly distributed along the axis of the charge state, and it took the highest values in the range of 97--100 %. The lowest meansquare error was registered in the model built by the combined method using subtractive clustering, least squares method and adaptive network based on the adaptive neurofuzzy inference system. Expressions for the average kinetic energy of a particle without regard to its rest energy in the case of circular and linear polarization of a modulated wave are obtained. The motion of a charged particle in the field was analyzed and expressed in terms of dependences of its average kinetic energy on the electromagnetic wave intensity and on various types of modulation depths. The contribution of each type of modulation to the energy characteristics of a charged particle was demonstrated. Solving the equation of motion of a charged particle in the electromagnetic field of a plane wave opens up possibilities for various applications related, in particular, to various developments of multi-frequency lasers and laser modulation technology.
