Green areas in cities play an important role in improving the quality of life quality of life for residents and reducing the risks of the disasters. Urban green area planning is a holistic and strategic process in which qualitative and quantitative factors should be considered in detail. This study focuses on determining the qualities and potentials of urban green areas in the city center of Çanakkale province in western Turkey and determining the amount of green area per capita, which is one of the quantitative factors. In addition, the study also aims to draw conclusions about the distribution and accessibility of urban green areas. Determining the amount, accesibility and distribution of active green areas, which are intensively used by urban dwellers for recreational purposes and are the determinants of the presence of green area in the city, is important in terms of forming the basis for strategies that improve urban quality of life. In this study, the active green areas in various urban landscapes were determined by utilizing high spatial resolution satellite remote sensing images and the spatial distribution and accessibility analysis were performed in a geographic information systems (GIS) platform. However, the research on crop products producer price anomalies is limited. The purpose of this paper is to identify producer price anomalies for selected crop products in Turkey over the last ten years (2013-2022) using quarterly and annual Compound Growth Rates (CGR) of the monthly price level, which allows for price monitoring after accounting for the effects of seasonality and inflation on prices, making it an ideal way to use prices as the basis of an early warning indicator. According to the results, moderately or abnormally high prices were measured in all years except for 2015. Sunflower, sugar beet, potatoes and pistachio were the crop products abnormally high prices were measured more than one year in this period. Abnormally high prices were measured in the years of 2014 and 2021 at most. And, no abnormally high prices were measured in the years of 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022. When the last three year situations of crop products with moderately or abnormally high producer prices were examined, wheat and maize were the crops with moderately high prices, and sunflower and sugar beet were the crops with abnormally high prices in 2020. In 2021, only the price of wheat was moderately high; cotton, maize, and barley were the crops with abnormally high prices. In the economic field, relationships between countries have developed, and the trade and investment environment has expanded. Industries have entered a highly developmental environment, competition has increased in some sectors, the global production and supply chain has changed, and production has become more integrated. International trade and investments have grown, communication has accelerated with technological development, and international cooperation has strengthened. While some countries have become economically stronger, others have become dependent on countries rich in natural resources. One of the most important areas of this dependence is energy dependence, which is experienced as a result of the increase in energy demand sensitive to production increase. This is because the increase in production is directly related to energy input. This study investigates the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in BRIC countries, which exhibit similar characteristics in terms of various macroeconomic indicators. The results obtained from dynamic panel data methods using annual data for the period 1990-2020 reveal that a 1% increase in energy consumption across the panel in the countries included in the analysis increases economic growth by 1.46%. Maize is among the most cultivated cereals in the world. Konya, on the other hand, ranks first in Turkey with a 10% share in maize production. The research area of Cumra district, which constitutes 15.76% of the maize production in Konya province, has been selected according to the purposive sampling method. In the study, the sample volume was determined as 77, with a 95% confidence interval and a 5% margin of error, according to the stratified sampling method. In the study, linear regression analysis was carried out to determine the factors affecting the technical efficiency of maize producers. According to the results of the research, gross production value (USD), total land size (ha), and age were found to be statistically significant at the 5% significance level. Variable costs and education were statistically significant at the 10% significance level. The DEA method, which is a non-parametric method, was used to determine the technical efficiency and scale efficiency of farms under the assumption of technical efficiency, VRS, and CRS. Farms should be informed about the optimum use of inputs. It is a fruit that is loved and consumed especially in our country and in Eastern Anatolia in autumn. Bingöl is a geography that consumes this fruit fondly with its districts and thinks that this hawthorn species is healing. Crataegus orientalis (Eastern hawtorn) used in our study was collected by us from Genç district of Bingöl in September 2021. As chemical analysis, some important element levels and some antioxidant tests were performed. Among the analyzed elements, sodium is 33512,50 ppb, magnesium is 432871,44 ppb, potassium is 2925823,19 ppb, calcium is 1623360,05 ppb, manganese is 1691,45 ppb, iron is 57778,99 ppb, cobalt is 117,62 ppb, copper is 1121,00 ppb and selenium is 6,61 ppb found. It has been observed that it has a very rich amount of element content. The antioxidant test results were observed as follows; total phenol content 79.76 ± 0.95 mg gallic acid g-1, total flavonoid content 43.04 ± 1.67 mg quercetin g-1, total antioxidant capacity 203.76 ± 12.28 mM ascorbic acid g-1, DPPH radical scavenging capacity 61.6 ± 0.57 % inhibition. Eastern hawthorn is a fruit that is beneficial for health with its rich element content and strong antioxidant values, as well as being a fibrous food. Zengin içeriği nedeniyle günümüzde fonksiyonel gıda olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Trabzon İli’nin üç farklı bölgesinden (Of, Maçka, Esiroğlu) toplanan kestane polen örneklerinin fizikokimyasal (nem, kül, pH), biyoaktif (toplam fenolik, flavonoid, antioksidan) ve mikrobiyolojik (toplam mezofilik aerobik bakteri, toplam maya/küf sayısı) yönden incelemeleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda örneklerdeki nem miktarı %7.95-8.93 arasında, kül miktarı %2.95-3.23 arasında, pH aralığı ise 5.30-5.33 olarak tespit edilmiştir. En yüksek protein içeriği %19.60 oranında Esiroğlu örneğinden elde edilmiştir. Toplam fenolik-flavonoid madde miktarı sırasıyla 18.55 mg GAE/g, 11.23 mg QE/g değerleri ile yine en yüksek oranda Esiroğlu örneğinde teşhis edilmiştir. Örneklerin antioksidan kapasiteleri 74.86-83.43 µM Trolox E/g aralığında tanımlanmıştır. Toplam mezofilik aerobik bakteri ve maya/küf sayısı açısından mikrobiyal yükleri incelenen örneklerin kalite kriterlerine uygun olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu çalışmada yağmur suyu hasadı ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiş olup, Sinop Üniversitesi Kuzey Yerleşkesinde bulunan 12 adet binanın çatısından toplanabilecek yağmur suyunun, yeşil alan sulama, araç yıkama ve bina içi kullanımlar için gerekli su ihtiyacını karşılamadaki potansiyeli araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla yapıların çatı alanı, çatı malzemesi tespit edilmiş ve aylık yağış verileri kullanılarak hasat edilecek yağmur suyu miktarı hesaplanmıştır. Hasat edilen yağmur suyu ile sulanacak yeşil alanda kullanılacak su miktarı, araç yıkama içi gerekli su miktarı ve binalardaki su tüketim miktarlarının ne kadarının karşılanacağı ortaya konmuştur. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 2016-2017 yılları içerisinde 90 işletme tabakalı örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiş olup yüz yüze anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. İşletmeler üst birlik durumuna göre seçili karşılaştırmalı olarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada parametrik olmayan testlerden Ki-Kare bağımsızlık testi ve Mann-Whitney U testi tercih edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda üreticilerin büyük çoğunluğunun (%62.2) ilkokul mezunu olup süt sığırcılığı üretiminde deneyiminin 13.92 yıl olduğu ve işletmelerin %63.3’ünün sadece süt sığırcılığı işletmesi olduğu saptanmıştır. İşletmelerde ortalama olarak damızlık süt sığırı sayısı 14,34 baş, hayvan varlığı 22.07 BBHB, sağım süresi 248.11 gün, süt veriminin 16,11 kg/baş/gün ve laktasyon verim 4.002,43 kg/baş/yıl olarak hesaplanmıştır. İşletmelerin değişen masrafları içerisinde en büyük payı yem masrafı (%77.60) oluşturmakta olup sırasıyla veteriner ve ilaç masrafları (%6.56), su/elektrik (%2.68) ve geçici işçilik masrafı (%0.55) oluşturmaktadır. GSÜD’ni oluşturan bileşenleri sırasıyla süt geliri (%53.7), envanter kıymet artışı (%26.10), buzağı geliri (%10.26), hayvancılık destekler (%8.06) ve gübre geliridir (%1.39).
