The origin of the phenomenon of globalization is considered and its multidimensional nature in the context of global processes is revealed.Methods. The research uses the method of contextual, hermeneutic, historical and logical analysis of theoretical activities and practical developments on the topic. It is based on a linguophilosophical approach to the consideration of the phenomenon of globalization, taking into account the differences between human society following the path of formation of consciousness and civilization. Theoretical developments of domestic and foreign researchers in the field of philosophy, sociology, linguistics, and history are taken into account when solving the tasks set.Results. The article presents the main stages of the emergence of the phenomenon of globalization in the course of the socio-historical development of human civilization. It is determined that the phenomenon of globalization affects many aspects: economic, political, cultural, military, environmental. The meanings of the French words \"globalisation\" and \"mondialisation\", denoting the concept of globalization, are considered, and the specific features of the processes designated by them are revealed. It is established that \"Mondialization\" geographically covers the designated areas, and \"globalization\" is a continuation of the process of \"mondialization\" by creating global systems in the field of production and digitalization.Conclusion. Ultimately, it is determined that the words \"globalisation\" and \"mondialisation\", which denote the concept of globalization in French scientific thought and are often used synonymously, in practice imply different, albeit interrelated, processes. The French word \"mondialisation\", meaning \"globalization\", comes from the word \"monde\" - \"world\" and means a multidimensional process affecting various aspects of the life of societies and individuals, associated with geographical expansion. \"Globalisation\" does not refer to a view of the world, but to liberation from national frameworks.","PeriodicalId":128392,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Southwest State University. The analysis of hybrid lexical neoplasms with an Anglicism component in the conceptual field of \"Healthy nutrition\" is carried out, the features of their use in Internet communication are revealed and their linguistic and stylistic function is established in the process of forming a new lexical layer of the German language. The research material is original publications in Snapchat social network groups #gesundessen, ###@projekt_gesund_leben, ###@eatsleepgreen, from among which the most actively used borrowings are highlighted and analyzed. The relevance of the topic of this study is due to the fact that new words appear in the language constantly, at all stages of its existence, especially in connection with the rapid development of Internet communication in social networks, and the question of their systematization is of particular importance. The process of hybridization with the Anglicism component in German social networks is characterized by certain specifics that require careful study. As a result of the research, the author came to the conclusion that the active use of Anglicisms-hybrids is due to the need of modern society for international vocabulary, leads to a more successful intercultural dialogue within the framework of Internet communication and is an urgent trend in the development of the modern German language of social networks. The most commonly used words are hybrids, which are formed in the process of hybridization by borrowing Anglicisms and adding either word-formation elements from the German language or German lexemes. The systematized material proposed by the author of the article can be used in pedagogical and scientific activities in the field of such branches of linguistics as neology, linguistic terminology, derivatology, contrastive linguistics.","PeriodicalId":128392,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Southwest State University. Changing social situations contribute to the rapid emergence of new areas of volunteer activity. At the same time, the problem of volunteer identification with the group as a factor in overcoming their emotional burnout is relevant. The purpose of the study is to study the characteristics of the social identity of “burning out” volunteers engaged in professionally oriented volunteer activities. 84 volunteers of the Kursk State Medical University and the Volunteer Resource Center of the Kursk Region aged 18 to 23 years took part in it. The experimental group (EG) included students of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Clinical Psychology of Kursk State Medical University aged 19 to 23 years (36 girls and 6 boys), engaged in professionally oriented volunteer activities (medical volunteers) for 6 months or more . The control group (CG) consisted of 42 volunteers from the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Volunteering Resource Center of the Kursk Region aged 18 to 23 years (34 girls and 8 boys). Observation and conversation, as well as standardized methods for diagnosing social identity and emotional burnout, were used to collect data. The results were processed using the computer program “Statistica 11.0”. It has been empirically proven that volunteers engaged in professionally oriented and non-professionally oriented volunteer activities burn out. In the identity structure of “burning out” volunteers, the dominant positions are occupied by the “Reflective Self” and the “Social Self.” At the same time, professionally oriented volunteers primarily identify themselves with educational and professional roles, while non-professionally oriented volunteers identify themselves with family roles. The predominant type of social identity for professionally oriented volunteers is pseudo-identity as a possible factor in overcoming depersonalization, and for non-professionally oriented volunteers it is an achieved and high achieved identity in overcoming emotional exhaustion and burnout. This must be taken into account when developing a program for its prevention and correction.","PeriodicalId":128392,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Southwest State University. The article is aimed at determining the features of the linguistic fixation of space-time relations in languages with different structures, identifying unique characteristics that form an integral part of the culture of the people, the specifics of the national mentality represented in the language. Based on the material of differently structured Kabardian-Circassian, Russian and English languages terms of space and time are analyzed in a comparative aspect.Methods. The use of a complex of general scientific and linguistic methods, including methods of comparative, lexical-semantic, etymological and conceptual analysis, made it possible to identify the features of linguistic objectification of ethnocultural information in the languages under study, to explore the features of national thinking in the process of linguistic projection of culturally significant information, to establish differences in the perception and interpretations of details of the surrounding world by different peoples, as well as the role of language in the formation of national and cultural identity. The results of the study revealed linguocultural differences in the perception and linguistic objectification of time among different peoples, in particular, structural and semantic features of fixation of temporal concepts in the language, as well as the projection of the use of a certain referential system in the language and at the cognitive level. The introduction of new language material into scientific use promotes further research in linguoculturology, since, as noted by many researchers, not a single linguoculture is capable of providing comprehensive information.Conclusion. A comparative analysis of the spatial coding strategies used (absolute and relative systems of reference) reveals the representation in the native language of the way of thinking of its speakers, as well as the influence of language on the perception of the surrounding world. The temporal categorization of reality explicates the peculiarities of national worldview. The presence in a language of a large number of time-specifying details can be seen as an indicator of the meaning that an ethnic community attaches to time.","PeriodicalId":128392,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Southwest State University. The architect's vision must meet the strict requirements imposed by the specifics of visual activity, the laws of figurative literacy and the tasks of a particular stage of work, correlate with the ultimate ideals and purpose of creative activity. In the study of light as a means of artistic expression, an important role must be given to the psychology of the perception of light in nature and in the image. Only having a developed three-dimensional thinking a student can convincingly and accurately convey the character of a three-dimensional shape, its plasticity and movement. The recognition of three-dimensional forms, including natural objects based on three-dimensional vision of images, through an accurate assessment of light and shadow gradations, adequate transfer of color phenomena of reality to the possibilities of the visual sphere and skillful modeling of forms depicted by light and shadow, becomes an emphasis in the training of an architect. The position of color in the image of shapes in space is no less significant.Pedagogical techniques for the formation of three-dimensional thinking of students and the development of their graphic skills in drawing three-dimensional objects, including architectural ones, are based on scientific discoveries of scientists, scientists and artists since the Renaissance. The integrity of perception, attention to detail, the study of space, understanding of form, possession of means of shaping and the image of a three-dimensional object in a two-dimensional format are becoming universal criteria that allow us to talk about the high-quality training of future architects.","PeriodicalId":128392,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Southwest State University. The novel is analyzed in the context of the Spanish political discourse of the 1830s-1840s. In the course of the study, the 2009 edition of “The Patriarch of the Valley” was used. The historical approach to the study of political discourse was used in the work. The characters in the novel were divided into 4 groups depending on their political views: (1) right-wing Carlists (conservatives); (2) moderate Carlists; (3) moderate liberals; (4) radical liberals. A comparative analysis of the images of characters belonging to different groups has been carried out. The tendencies of displaying real historical figures in the novel are considered. An analysis of the intertext of \"The Patriarch of the Valley\" is made. P. de la Escosura included in his novel references to the literary works of contemporary Spanish writers who were on the same ideological positions as the author of \"The Patriarch of the Valley\". It is concluded that \"The Patriarch of the Valley\" was not an ordinary serial, but was used by the author as a tool of political propaganda.","PeriodicalId":128392,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Southwest State University. Considering that these documents make a foundation of the global nuclear safety system, and grammar is the backbone of the language and an essential constituent of the communication content, the paper is focused on the analysis of the ways of translating specific grammatical structures, which determines current importance of this study. The aim of the work is to compare typical grammatical constructions used in the texts of the Russian translations of the IAEA publications under consideration with the grammatical features of similar Rostechnadzor’s regulatory documentation. The main tasks of the authors are to compare the ways of translating English modal and passive constructions, English verbals and verbal structures into Russian and to verify the translator’s choice of a certain grammatical structure in the translations of the regulations and guidelines under consideration. Taking research tasks predetermined the choice of the following research methods: comparative analysis; linguistic and statistical analysis; contextual analysis; inductive and deductive analysis. To obtain linguistic and statistical analysis data, the authors applied such software tools as SDL Trados, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and MS Word. In order to ensure the correctness of the results, only the substantive part of the documents under consideration was analyzed. The analysis has brought to the following results: the need to comply with the regulatory requirements narrows the choice of Russian modal constructions in the translation of \"should\" statements used in IAEA documents. The issue of changing the regulatory requirement that prescribes to use the Russian verb \"следует\" has to be treated very carefully, considering the established practice of both translating the IAEA safety guides and their understanding by the target users; the translation of English passive constructions and verbals used in the IAEA safety guides gives clear preference to the use of Russian indefinite-personal structures with verbs in the active voice in the 3rd person plural; the grammatical structures used in the translation of the IAEA publications in question generally correspond to the grammatical structures used in the Rostechnadzor regulatory documents, which is predetermined by the information nature and ensures a fairly high similarity of their style.","PeriodicalId":128392,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Southwest State University.
