The complex includes mathematical models of the dynamics of a marine moving object, flexible connection and tether winch. The former is used to simulate the spatial motion dynamics of a towing vessel and a towed underwater vehicle as solid bodies in a water flow. Tether simulation employs a method of simulating a flexible connection with automatic control of the axial motion of its elements, which makes it possible to account for the dynamics of the change in the length of its released part. The model of the tether winch dynamics provides simulation of the tether release and gathering. In the conditions of competition in the global market of educational services, it is necessary to constantly confirm the high standards of the university. It is suggested to apply general calculation of a quantitative assessment of the quality of training in the project management of foreign students’ education in joint programs with international partners. To significantly reduce the time of calculation, a universal computing program has been created. This program allows processing extensive data blocks with visualization of the results in the two-dimensional coordinate system. It is proposed to solve the problems of their improvement on the basis of three-dimensional modeling. Three-dimensional models of operating channels of compressed air separators are developed. The work processes in separators are analyzed as for gas dynamics and deposition coefficients. There are obtained distributions of velocity, static pressure, dynamic pressure, kinetic energy of turbulence and deposition coefficients for the flow rates of compressed air separators with 1 jet module for the consumption rate of 50...100 m3/h, with 2 jet modules for the consumption rate of 100...200 m3/h, with 4 jet modules for the consumption rate of 200...400 m3/h, and with 6 jet modules for the consumption rate of 400...800 m3/h. These models are intended for calculation of mechanical characteristics of the metal of the high temperature parts of HAZ (Rm, ReH, НV and KV–40) for the use in the welded joints made of high-strength shipbuilding steel of the E36 grade (the cross-stream of the rolled sheet with the thickness of 50 mm). The analytical assessment has been executed in accordance with the specified chemical content and duration of the metal cooling with the maximum temperature of heating equal to 1350 oС at the range of the temperatures 850–500 °С. The experimental confirmation of the analytical calculation accuracy has been executed by using complex mechanical tests of the welded joints, which have been done in accordance with the requirements of the Rules DNV GL. Analysis of the obtained results showed that the existing mathematical models of assessment of mechanical characteristics of the metal of the high temperature parts HAZ (Rm, ReH and НV) can be practically implemented with the aim of optimization of welded joints. Modern market provides thousands of tethered underwater systems of different types. One of these types becomes increasingly important; at the same time, it is almost absent in the market of underwater robots and in the theoretical research. It is a tethered self-propelled underwater cargo system. Relevance of this direction for Ukraine is associated with development of radiohydroacoustics and other devices of defense purposes that are manufactured as specialized cargos that are planned to be applied for the state water areas and for export. This article suggests organization of automated control of a tethered self-propelled underwater cargo system based on an underwater robot of the transport type relying on the subsequent synthesis of a mathematical model of the propulsive complex of the controlled object. Trunin","doi":"10.15589/JNN20170301","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15589/JNN20170301","url":null,"abstract":"In connection with increase in operating depths and expansion of the scope of use of marine lash systems (MLS), it is urgent to improve the theory and methods of designing their flexible links (FL) and refine the existing calculation methods. The existing calculation and design methods are either simplistic and do not take into account the actual loads and the nature of loading of the MLS FL or are rather complicated and cumbersome for design and construction kits and require considerable timing for their implementation. The mathematical model of the MLS dynamics includes not only the FL equations, but also the equations of dynamics of the tugboat and the towed UV. Their movement determines the boundary conditions at the FL nodes with the numbers i = 0 and i = N. The FL node with the number i = 0 is fixed to the tugboat, and the FL node with the number i = N is fixed to the UV. Dynamics of the tugboat and that of the towed UV differ only in their parameters, thus, the equations of their dynamics have the same form. Let us assume that the tugboat and the UV are absolutely rigid rods. Their position in space is determined by the coordinates of their center of mass (хi, yi, zi), the course angle (φk i), the trim angle (φd i) and the roll angle (φkr i). The length of the rods (Li) is equal to the length of the tugboat or the UV. The position of the center of mass is determined by the distance from the stern (Lki) to it. Based on the developed mathematical model, there has been determined a system of equations that describes the FL element dynamics as the result of impact of external forces and reactions of stretching, bending and turning. The mechanism of distribution of the velocity fields of the air-gas medium at the open side cutoff is elaborated. Within the framework of the developed methodology of the project management for providing educational services to a foreign customer, a quantitative assessment of the quality of teaching has been conducted by the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding by the «2 + 2» joint educational program with the Zhejiang International Maritime College. Trokhymenko","doi":"10.15589/JNN20170214","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15589/JNN20170214","url":null,"abstract":"Effectiveness of the implementation of water protection measures at the regional level, including regulation of the polluted sewage discharges and increase in the degree of its purification, is most notably determined by the accurateness of the assessment of the level of impact of water pollution sources on the water quality and the ecological situation in the studied water area. This paper offers a methodological approach to assessing the impact of coastal sources of sewage discharge on the state of water bodies, taking into account the characteristics and conditions of discharge, the composition of sewage, as well as the degree of its purification and the load on the water body. Illustrated by the housing and utilities enterprises of the Mykolaiv region, point sources of water pollution have been ranked by these indicators. The classes of hazard of these sources are determined and the level of their environmental hazard is assessed. The obtained results can be used in development of a strategy for the surface water quality control in the river basin, including regulation of sewage discharges by coastal sources of pollution.
