Cerebral Palsy is the most common disability of children. Depression is very frequent in parents of Cerebral Palsy children because they are more attached and worried about their child’s health. \u0000 \u0000Objective: The purpose of study is to determine the frequency and level of depression in parents of cerebral palsy children. \u0000Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on a sample of 148 parents of Cerebral Palsy children. The data was collected from different hospitals of Rawalpindi and Islamabad from 26th January 2018 to 26th July 2018. Population was selected using non-probability convenient sampling. Parents with at least one child with Cerebral Palsy were included whereas; parents with any diagnosed mental disorder were excluded along with those parents, who had a child with any other disorder than Cerebral Palsy. Standard questionnaire beck depression inventory was used to assess depression in the parents. Data was analyzed using IBM SPSS 20. \u0000Results: Out of 148 participants 133 (89.90%) were mothers and 15 (10.10%) were fathers. Mean age of the participants were 29.85 years. In total, 83 (56.1%) parents were clinically depressed. Moderate level of depression was the most frequent level of depression i.e. (38) 25% followed by other categories. Mothers had greater severity of depression than fathers; total of 38 (25.5%) mothers had moderate level of depression. Fathers did not cross the borderline clinical depression category; only 3(20%) fathers were in borderline clinical depression category. \u0000Conclusion: The study concluded that most of the parents of children having cerebral palsy undergo moderate level of depression.

In upper cross syndrome cervical flexors and rhomboid and lower trapezius become weak and pectorals and upper trapezius/elevator and sub occipital become tight. Overuse and tightness of these muscles results in trigger point (hyperirritable points/knots) formation in the belly of the muscles. \u0000Objective: To compare the effectiveness of myofascial trigger point release in upper cross syndrome versus myofascial trigger point release in combination with self-stretching treatment. \u0000Methodology: A total of 40 patients with upper cross syndrome were selected for study on the basis of inclusion criteria, randomly allocated in to two groups (each n=20). Group A was treated with myofascial trigger point release alone once a week and followed for 6 weeks, while group B was given the same treatment along with self-stretching home plan. Self-stretching include (chest stretch in sitting, upper trapezius stretch and sub occipital self-stretch include hold for 10-15 sec and release of 5-10 seconds). The pain, disability and Cervical ROM were assessed before and after treatment through Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), Neck Disability Index (NDI) and Goniometry respectively. Data was analyzed on SPSS 20. \u0000Results: The results shows that patients in Group B improve pain (mean NPRS from 5.40±0.50 to 2.50±0.52) and disability (mean NDI from 36.00±4.47 to 22.20±4.67) more than Group A with pain (mean NPRS from5.45±0.75 to 4.00±0.32) and disability (mean NDI from 31.25±6.85 to 23.20±7.40).Statistically significant results were found between the groups regarding NPRS, NDI and cervical ROM as p value was

Round about 20 to 60 million people are employees in textile industries worldwide. The global textile manufacturing was estimated at around 872 billion USD in 2017 and is expected to be 1237.1 billion USD by 2025. In third world countries, the textile industry is one of the major sources to provide employment and reduce poverty as many foreign investors are interested to invest in the textile industry in such financial unstable countries because of the cheap labour.2 To get benefit from the textile industry, the labour worker of such countries must be physically healthy because if they will be healthy then they can work energetically and can play a vital role in the development of their nation as well as can support their families.3 ORIGINAL ARTICLE

Out of 500, 55% (275) were female and 45%(225) were male. There is indirect significant correlation between overweight(BMI) and HRQOL with r value -1.05 and p value 0.19. Psychosocial outcomes are indirectly correlated with Overweight. \u0000 \u0000CONCLUSION \u0000This study concluded that there is a significant negative relation between overweight BMI and HRQOL, both in males and females. All aspects of psychosocial are affected by elevated BMI. Study will bring awareness in health care worker about non-significant correlation of being overweight and quality of life. This study will have a beneficial impact on society in terms of education and information.
