Regarding the serum UA quartiles, the prevalence of NPAF was lowest in the first UA quartile, followed by the second and third quartiles, with the most prevalent in the highest UA quartile. On the other hand, regarding the plasma XOR activity quartiles, the prevalence of NPAF was lowest in the third XOR activity quartile, followed by the first and fourth quartiles, with the most prevalent in the second XOR activity quartile.
