{"title":"KEBOLEHGUNAAN TERJEMAHAN ILTIFĀT KATA GANTI NAMA ILAHI OLEH ABDULLAH BASMEIH DALAM AL-QURAN","authors":"Muhammad Hakim Kamal","doi":"10.33102/abqari.vol30no1.568","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33102/abqari.vol30no1.568","url":null,"abstract":"The study focuses on the translation of the Divine’s pronoun shift by Abdullah Basmeih in the Quran. This qualitative research review its translation quality from the point of view of usability among target readers. The selected data is verses of the Quran with the Divine’s pronoun shift and its translation in Tafsir Pimpinan Ar-Rahman as well as usability tests usage which is adapted for data collection. The descriptive analysis shows that usability of the translation of the Divine’s pronoun shift by Abdullah is high if the explicitation technique is applied. However, the use of literal techniques in translating this stylistic causes a low usability of the translation. Findings also show the appropriateness of applying the concept of usability which is based on opinions of the target readers in the translation quality assessment of the Quran stylistics.\u0000ABSTRAK\u0000Kajian memfokuskan terjemahan iltifāt Kata Ganti Nama [KGN] Ilahi oleh Abdullah Basmeih dalam al-Quran. Penyelidikan kualitatif ini meninjau kualiti terjemahannya daripada sudut kebolehgunaan dalam kalangan pembaca sasaran. Data dipilih secara bertujuan, iaitu ayat al-Quran dengan iltifāt KGN Ilahi, terjemahannya dalam Tafsir Pimpinan Ar-Rahman dan penggunaan ujian kebolehgunaan yang diadaptasi bagi pemerolehan data. Analisisnya secara deskriptif menunjukkan bahawa tahap kebolehgunaan terjemahan iltifāt KGN Ilahi oleh Abdullah Basmeih dalam kalangan pembaca sasaran adalah tinggi sekiranya teknik eksplisitasi diaplikasi. Namun, penggunaan teknik literal semata-mata menyebabkan rendahnya tahap kebolehgunaan terjemahan tersebut. The invention of Facebook and other social media platforms has revolutionized the human interaction. The proliferation of Dacwah activities on social media became expedient as Muslim scholars take advantage of the platform to spread the teachings of Islam to the Facebook users. However, the abuse of the Facebook space in the guise of Dacwah activities has risen to its peak by some pseudo-scholars, who have usurped the platform to spread wrong teachings about Islam. Thus, this paper examines the roles played by social media in Dacwah activities with special focus on Facebook, as one of the social network sites commonly adopted by many scholars for spreading Islamic knowledge and information. Descriptive and analytical methods have been employed in carrying out this research. The descriptive method has assisted in describing the manners of Dacwah activities on social media, while the analytical method was used in analyzing the roles Facebook has played as a platform for the propagation of Islam. The paper reveals that social media is an inevitable and effective tool for the propagation of Islam because of its easy accessibility, smooth and quick connection to others. It also reveals that despite the significant roles the social media, particularly Facebook, plays in spreading information about Islamic teachings to the users, Dacwah activities are facing some challenges which are undermining the progress of Islamic propagation in the contemporary society. According to some scholars, it is “about reestablishing Islamic values in society”. Because it has tremendous effects on the human minds to adapt the teachings of Islam and increases their belief in the Quran and Sunnah. Recently, many researchers have shown an increased interest in for the integrating contemporary knowledge such as medical, engineering, astronomy, and so on with transmitted knowledge under titles such as scientific Miracles in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah; scientific interpretation of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah; and the integration between intellectual knowledge and transmitted knowledge. This article aims to contribute to integrating Sunnah and the medical science study in black seed regarding to its medicinal beneficial effect for illness. The researcher used the library and inductive methods to collect data related to the black seed in the medical sciences and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW, and analytical and descriptive methods used to integrate the collected information. However, fundamental problem recurring since a long time is that MAIN do not possess adequate fund, due to this many waqf lands did not achieve expected benefits. Based on this problem, research scope focused on waqf lands in Terengganu. Four themes attended in this study are to study waqf land status, suitable developmental sectors to be developed, financing of waqf fund, and methods to be implemented for waqf project. This study was performed through qualitative study by applying document analysis design based on content analysis techniques. This study found that, position of waqf land suitable for development is general waqf land. Meanwhile for buildings construction sector, physical development with wider impact and reasonable cost. While for financing fund, the authority in MAIDAM is through cash waqf and istibdal sources. Therefore, ideal method to be implemented in MAIDAM is conventional method. Conclusively, these four themes of study are important aspects to be realised at industrial level especially in MAIDAM.\u0000ABSTRAK\u0000Hasrat kerajaan Malaysia yang mahukan wakaf dapat diperkasakan diseluruh negara menerusi tema ‘Wakaf Madani’, maka pihak Majlis Agama Islam Negeri (MAIN) dalam usaha bagi menjayakan dasar ini dengan pelbagai bentuk yang telah direncanakan. Namun demikian, permasalahan asas yang sering berlaku sejak sekian lama adalah bahawa pihak MAIN tidak mempunyai dana yang mencukupi, kesan daripada ini banyak tanah-tanah wakaf tidak memperoleh hasil manfaat yang sepatutnya. Menerusi permasalahan ini, skop kajian ini akan menfokuskan tanah-tanah wakaf di Terengganu. Empat tema yang menjadi perhatian dalam kajian ini iaitu mengkaji status tanah wakaf, sektor pembangunan yang sesuai dibangunkan, pembiayaan dana wakaf dan kaedah projek wakaf yang akan dilaksanakan. Kajian ini dilaksanakan melalui kaedah kualitatif dengan mengaplikasikan reka bentuk analisis dokumen berdasarkan teknik analisis kandungan. Pengumpulan data kajian ini melibatkan sumber perpustakaan dan juga temu bual kakitangan MAIDAM yang terlibat secara langsung atau tidak bagi pengurusan wakaf di peringkat industri tersebut. Hasil kajian ini mendapati, kedudukan tanah wakaf yang sesuai dimajukan adalah tanah wakaf am dan beberapa foktor lain yang berkaitan seperti keluasan, kawasan sekitar, pegangan hak milik dan sebagainya. Manakala sektor pembinaan bangunan pula, ia didahulukan fizikal pembangunan yang mempunyai impak yang lebih luas serta kos pembinaan yang berpatutan, antaranya pembangunan dalam bentuk komersial. Bagi dana pembiayaan pula, kemampuan yang terdapat di MAIDAM adalah melalui sumber wakaf tunai dan istibdal. The Islamization of economics methodology must begin with a discussion of epistemology and axiology in economics. This research aims to reconstruct the methodological concept of economics by offering Islamization as an answer to the weaknesses in the foundations of conventional economic science. This research is a library research using an interdisciplinary approach to integrate the discipline of conventional economics with the discipline of Islamic philosophy. This research concludes that building a solid scientific methodology is very necessary, especially the Islamization of economics methodology which is a form of reconstruction and reorientation of economics, namely, recognizing Western economics and then filtering out values ​​that are not in accordance with Islam in it, followed by instilling those values. It is a special being created by Allah SWT that could not be seen by the naked eye but changes along with the changing of feeling. It is important to deal with emotion reasonably as the changes in emotions influence someone’s behaviour. This means that good emotions make an individual think rationally and act appropriately. Every person who lives in this world will experience a roller coaster of emotions in their life. However, there are some specific times when the emotion becomes more sensitive such as during the premenstrual phase of a woman. Regarding this matter, this study embarks on a mission to digging into al-Quran about emotional and suggest the best approach for women to manage their emotions during premenstrual. This research was done using document analysis for data collection. The essence of the success of employees in universities is therefore necessary to understand. Universities worldwide face new challenges in the 21st century. The transformation from Elite Higher Education to Mass higher education concept, internationalization and globalization, the widespread use of IT and new funding methods in HE are considered some of the major causes of shifting forces in response to new challenges. The problem is that it affects the efficiency of employees at work in the educational industry in Malaysia. In this report, the educational sector focuses on its success and its impacts. In addition, the management must face two of the most disconnective and severe obstacles in resolving performance concerns and disciplinary steps The objectives of the study are to determine the relationship between Efficiency of the Incentive System, Rewards Incentives, Moral Incentives, Promotion Incentives and Financial Incentives and employee’s performance in Malaysian Public Universities. The data is collected using online questionnaire over 387 employees of three universities namely UPM, UM and UKM and analysed using multiple regression analysis to test the research hypotheses of this study. The proposed model indicated 90% of variance of the employee’s performance. This study aims to identify the sub-themes that can be explained through the verses related to prayer in the Qur'an, in addition to analyzing the verses briefly. This study is based on qualitative research methods by document analysis that is sources from the book of Turath and contemporary as well as the latest scientific studies as an important source for this study. The thematic tafsir approach according to Mustafa Muslim is also applied in analyzing the verses related to prayer. The results of the study found that there are a variety of sub-themes stated in the Qur'an from the verses related to this prayer, including the encouragement and advantages of praying, prohibition of praying to other than Allah SWT, the invalidity of praying to other than Allah SWT, human habits in praying, manners and prayer guides and prayer-related verses. This shows that the life of Muslims is closely enganged with pray to Allah SWT because of the high values of prayer in Allah's sight.\u0000ABSTRAK\u0000Al-Quran memaparkan ayat-ayat berkaitan doa dalam pelbagai surah sama ada surah Makkiyyah atau Madaniyyah. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti  sub-sub tema yang boleh dijelaskan melalui ayat-ayat berkaitan doa  di dalam al-Quran ini, di samping menganalisis ayat-ayat tersebut secara ringkas. Kajian ini adalah berasaskan metod kajian kualitatif secara analisis dokumen iaitu sumber-sumber dari kitab turath dan kontemporari serta kajian-kajian ilmiah terkini sebagai sumber penting untuk kajian ini. Pendekatan tafsir tematik menurut Mustafa Muslim juga turut diaplikasikan dalam menganalisis ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan doa. Hasil kajian mendapati terdapat kepelbagaian sub tema yang dinyatakan di dalam al-Quran daripada ayat-ayat berkaitan doa ini, antaranya galakan dan kelebihan berdoa, larangan berdoa kepada selain dari Allah SWT, kebatilan berdoa kepada selain Allah SWT, tabiat manusia dalam berdoa, adab dan panduan berdoa dan ayat-ayat berkaitan doa. Nowadays, child marriage has been regarded as a violation of child rights and is a key agenda in its claims of disinfection globally. International conventions such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) seek to curb marriage through the setting of the age of marriage, while the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) stresses the importance of children as a priority in all matters relating to their welfare. This effort is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030 to strengthen women's rights. Nevertheless, child marriage is still in practice, causing the international community to urge legal reform to curb child marriage practices. This article uses a qualitative approach through literature review by analyzing primary and secondary documents through classical books and academic writing in journals. Studies have found a range of negative impacts that harm children from child marriage such as sexual exploitation, neglect of educational rights, mental and reproductive health risks, and domestic violence. This study acts as an enlightenment for the community to understand the harm caused by child marriage towards the girls, thus launching advocacy to ensure the success of the child marriage equality containment agenda in order to strengthen the empowerment of women's rights, through and Islamic approach in dealing with it. This awareness leads to the justification of the government and its stakeholders to act in line with the framework of Siyasa al-Shar'iyya to ensure the well-being (maslaha) of the girls. \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Sesetengah agamawan menjustifikasi perkahwinan kanak-kanak kontemporari menurut hukum keharusan perkahwinan yang dibenarkan dalam agama Islam, berdasarkan perkahwinan antara Rasulullah SAW dan Aishah RA. Pada masa kini, perkahwinan kanak-kanak telah dianggap sebagai pelanggaran hak kanak-kanak dan menjadi agenda utama dalam tuntutan pembasmiannya di peringkat global. Konvensyen antarabangsa seperti Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) berusaha untuk membendung perkahwinan ini melalui penetapan had umur perkahwinan, manakala Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) pula menegaskan tentang kepentingan kanak-kanak sebagai keutamaan dalam segala hal berkaitan kepentingan mereka. Usaha ini selari dengan matlamat Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2030 bagi memperkasakan hak wanita. Namun, perkahwinan ini masih diamalkan sehingga menyebabkan komuniti antarabangsa menggesa pembaharuan undang-undang bagi membendung amalan perkahwinan kanak-kanak. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui kajian kepustakaan dengan menganalisis dokumen primer dan sekunder melalui bahan klasik dan penulisan akademik di dalam jurnal. Historically antecedent toward under development as a result of conflict. The paper went further to explain the modus-operandi of the group that encompasses killings of innocent people, bombing places of worship, raping and kidnapping in the name of religion to achieve their barbaric goals. The negative effect of the terrorists group (Boko Haram) activities on the social development in Yobe State of Nigeria has become so devastating that even some of the financial institutions and other commercial ventures shut-down in many areas of the state especially the state capital (Damaturu), thereby causing relocation of many people to various safe places within and even outside the region. It is based on the aforementioned that this paper seeks to explore the extent to which Boko Haram insurgency has affected the peace and social development in Yobe State of Nigeria. The paper explains the concepts of conflict, peace and social development; the research used focus groups discussion to generate information and gain knowledge on the extent of effect of the conflict on social development. The paper concluded that Boko Haram constitute a serious problem to the development of various sectors in the State.
