Schnapp","doi":"10.14361/9783839451748-029","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14361/9783839451748-029","url":null,"abstract":"An deutschen Hochschulen wird in den letzten Jahren immer häufiger von einer ›Dritten Mission‹ gesprochen, die im Verbund mit Forschung und Lehre zu bedenken sei. Die Idee ›Dritte Mission‹ zielt auf die Intensivierung des direkten Austausches zwischen Hochschulen und Gesellschaft und die Verstärkung der gemeinsamen Produktion von Wissen und Lösungen für gesellschaftliche Probleme (Maassen e.a. 2019). In diesem Zusammenhang gewinnen Ansätze wie Community-based Research (CBR) und Service Learning zunehmend an Bedeutung in der universitären Lehre. In diesem Beitrag wird über Erfahrungen mit zwei im Zeitumfang sehr unterschiedlichen Lehrprojekten an der Universität Hamburg berichtet, die sich konzeptuell beim CBR-Ansatz bedienen. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf der Frage, wie die Einbindung von zivilgesellschaftlichen Akteurinnen, die ein Herzstück von CBR ist, unter unterschiedlichen zeitlichen Rahmenbedingungen realisiert werden kann. Um die Frage beantworten zu können, wird eingangs CBR als Konzept definiert. Außerdemwerdenwichtige Lernziele benannt, die in CBR-Projekten erreicht werden sollen. Danach werden zwei CBR-orientierte Seminare vorgestellt und jeweils ein exemplarisches Projekt darin inhaltlich illustriert. Im Anschluss erfolgt ein Vergleich der Kurse mit Blick auf die Frage, wie die Community-Orientierung und -Einbindung in den beiden Projekten in Abhängigkeit von der verfügbaren Zeit variierte.
