All these factors promote the demand for direct human-computer interaction in sign language. The proposed unit structure consists of a centrosymmetric metal closed-ring cross, F4B substrate, and 4 loads connected to the ground through 4 metal vias. The fully centrosymmetric structure keeps the working performances of the proposed metasurface unchanged under different polarization directions. By employing wideband matching networks (MNs), the proposed HPA achieves 39.2 ‘” 41.2 dBm Pout and 35.7% ~ 45.4% PAE from 14.0 to 18.0 GHz. Power gain exceeds 17 dB in the operating band. The HPA chip dimensions are 2.55 mm by 1.3 mm. It mainly consists of two parts, namely the high-efficiency feeding network and low profile circularly polarized radiator. The feeding network is based on a sequentially fed radial planar waveguide to reduce feeding length and thus improve efficiency. Several sets of concentric annular slots are cut on the radial planar waveguide, and corner-cut patches are placed on the slots, which realizes the radiator generating rotational symmetrical isoflux CP radiation. The proposed isoflux antenna features both low-profile and high radiation efficiency. Under the limitation of using uniform film, an absorber using transparent conductive film is designed for good-visual perception inspired by the Jaumann screen. Through adjusting impedance matching of the structure, the proposed absorber achieves 90% absorption in the range of 9.4 to 26 GHz (fractional bandwidth 93.7%). Meanwhile, the proposed structure measures 76.6% transmittance and 0.37% haze, denoting the application potential. Two resonator structures, including quar-ter-wavelength slot and microstrip lines, share the same resonant frequency at which the common-mode energy can be absorbed by lumped resistors. Furthermore, two resonator unit-cells are cascaded symmetrically beneath differential lines to realize bidi-rectional and wideband common-mode absorption. However, prevailing design approaches have inherent defects such as numerical aperture (NA) constraints and poor focal uniformity. To conquer these limitations, a complex-amplitude (CA) deep DoF metalens is demonstrated in the microwave region, enabled by the marriage of a novel 3D CA retrieval method and the C-shaped meta-atoms. An extended DoF of 6.9λ can be simulated, corresponding to the NA range from 0.8725 to 0.4582. Meanwhile, the lateral focal spot is uniformly distributed longitudinally, with the variance value of 21.03 in the focal spot diameter. The proposed retrieval method can provide an optimized design strategy for the deep DoF metalens, ensuring the DoF accuracy and the focal uniformity. The integrated phase inverters are used to eliminate half-wave offset from adjacent radiating elements. The ground plane is extended to reflect the quasi-magnetic dipole radiation pattern from the backfire to the porthole to enhance the antenna gain. Two linear arrays with differential feeding network are placed back-to-back along their longitude, by which the far-field radiation adds greatly that leads to further increased antenna gain.
