The SR land mobile satellite (LMS) comsat can be correlated or uncorrelated. The considered correlated normal distribution corresponds to SR fading with capricious transmit and receive correlation. The correlation matrices is surmised to be known to both the transmitter and receiver, while the receiver has complete knowledge of the channel realization, but not the transmitter. In this paper, we considered the correlated SR channels and derived the closed-form articulations for probability density function (p.d.f.), cumulative distribution function (c.d.f.) and moment generating function (m.g.f.) with the help of Meijer-G function.","PeriodicalId":126759,"journal":{"name":"2020 7th International Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116775280","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These images, obtained as a result of acoustic response of soft-biological tissues are called Tissue Reflectivity Function (TRF). TRF suffers from speckle patterns due to non-homogeneous nature of soft tissues being interrogated. The interference of reflected beam develops random patches of bright and dark spots. The reduced spatial resolution in the axial direction worsened as a function of distance from the transducer probe affects the diagnostic significance of ultrasonography. We design an optimization framework with consideration to Gaussian and speckle noise characteristics in the form of two data fidelity terms. To preserve edges during the iterative reconstruction process, we introduce Total Variation (TV) regularization term as well. We have conducted experiments on artificially corrupted synthetic data and simulated and real ultrasound data. Experimental results using several metrics supported by the visual results show improvement over state-of-the-art techniques for ultrasound image restoration.","PeriodicalId":126759,"journal":{"name":"2020 7th International Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN)","volume":"194 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116059083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The architecture of the UART transmitter has a baud rate generator, parity generator, transmitter finite state machine (FSM) and parallel in serial out register (PISO). UART receiver has a baud rate generator, negative edge detector, parity checker, receiver finite state machine (FSM) and serial in parallel out (SIPO) register. The baud rate generator of both transmitter and receiver is the same, so the baud rate of transmitter/receiver is the same. Baud rate generator is the same as the frequency divider circuit. There are mainly three most common ways in which an optical amplifier may be used in an optical link. There are many types of optical amplifiers available one of which is the Semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). The working of an SOA is just like that of a LASER, the only difference between a LASER and an SOA is that the later doesn’t have feedback mechanism as present in the case of former. Stimulated emission causes the amplification of entering light waves. An effect known as Cross phase modulation has been utilized in this work in order to exploit the non-linear properties of optical medium. Cross phase modulation takes place when two or more optical fields pass through the same optical medium simultaneously, the change in refractive index due to one optical field causes phase modulation of the other optical fields. This phenomenon is widely used to detect and study the non-linear properties of the link or the optical medium under consideration.In this work we have proposed schematics for full-adder and full-subtractor circuits. We have provided two separate circuit designs which has the schematic of Sum/Difference in the first one and Carry/Borrow in the second. Considering an input sequence of 10 bits we have simulated our schematic designs in OptiSystem 16 research software. The observations have been incorporated in the results section.","PeriodicalId":126759,"journal":{"name":"2020 7th International Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123838487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The time behavior of the power system states have been forecasted through several smoothing parameter techniques i.e. Brown’s one parameter method, Three parameter winter, Three parameter multiplicative method and Holt’s two-parameter method. The filtering problem has been resolved through a novel approach of Dynamic State estimation (DSE) relied on linear Kalman filter algorithm developed through optimally placed PMU measurements. Optimal location of PMUs has been obtained utilizing Integer linear programming (ILP) based approach. The proposed approach of DSE has been applied to IEEE 57, IEEE 118 and an Indian practical system i.e. 38 bus system of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). Among the various prediction techniques, Brown’s one parameter method provides better prediction compared to other forecasting methods.","PeriodicalId":126759,"journal":{"name":"2020 7th International Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121629891","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To match with advance technology node device dimension have to reduce which leads to several short channel effects. By using strain silicon technology DG-Nano-FET is developed at 10nm gate length providing a promising substitute in order to restrict performance degradation beyond 14nm channel length. The newly designed double gate (DG)-Nano-FET modeled here comprises of the three layer system as s-Si/s-SiGe/s-Si in channel region with lightly doped channel, which result in mobility enhancement in channel region. Due to additional control with two gates in the device the charge carriers flows from source to drain experiencing quantum carrier confinement in the narrow channel.
