To address these problems, a new approach for processing SAR raw data combined with compressed sensing (CS) and Block adaptive tree-structure vector quantization (BATSVQ) is proposed in this paper. For SAR returned signals, CS is engaged to down-sample the radar echoes in the pulse duration. Then, BATSVQ is employed to diminish encode number of every sample value. The compressed data can be transmitted effectively. In the signal receiver, data reconstruction process contains the two ordinal steps according to BATSVQ algorithm and CS reconstruction. Afterward, the Chirp Scaling imaging algorithm is executed to achieve the final SAR image. The simulation results and analysis validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":124509,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Communication and Computing (ICSPCC 2013)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115460224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The video clip is represented by an ordered list of global frame features with systematic sampling. Similarity is measured by the combination order of feature vectors, which can be well described by the dynamic time warping method. However, it is still computationally expensive to make pairwise comparison in huge databases. To improve the search efficiency, we propose the category rate and dispersion rate as additional metrics of similar vector points to describe converge of origin series and filter out irrelevant candidates. A cheap-to-compute low bound estimate of dynamic time warping with Jaccard distance is also used to prune off unpromising candidates in KNN similar video search process. Experimental results on two benchmark databases show the efficiency of proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":124509,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Communication and Computing (ICSPCC 2013)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126061202","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To solve this problem, we propose an image inpainting method based on the multi-scale dictionary learning. First, we select some fine images for dictionary learning, and then the sample images do the wavelet transform one by one. Second, for each sub-band after the images are transformed into the wavelet domain, a large number of blocks of samples are selected in a superimposed manner to make up the training set, the K-means singular value decomposition (K-SVD) using wavelets approach presented here applies dictionary learning in the analysis domain, sub-dictionaries at different data scales, consisting of small atoms, are trained. Finally we combine each sub-band dictionary into a global one to repair damaged image. The pixel loss of natural images, scratches and text removal experiments, demonstrate that our approach's applicability over a set of degraded images, at the same time, the PSNR and SSIM are improved.","PeriodicalId":124509,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Communication and Computing (ICSPCC 2013)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125555826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Apart from QoS metrics like mobility and bandwidth, node survivability and power usage form the main feature in routing as hoc networks. Here we will dwell upon the issues of knowing the course with sources that sustainable and are essential in supporting excellence in wireless ad hoc networks. By routing path with highest obtainable power and less energy use can result in maintainable routing. A novel energy proficient weighted path routing protocol known as Sustainable Longevity Routing (SLR) Protocol is what we put forward. Our primary aim is to officially establish that the recommended weighted path routing protocol will meet the loop-freeness necessities and reliability. The maintainable asset assures that every nodule will make the right packet forwarding choice for the data packet to pass through the proposed path. Several wide mock-up experiments conducted by us proved that our projected weighted path routing protocol gives exemplary performance to know the high-throughput paths.","PeriodicalId":124509,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Communication and Computing (ICSPCC 2013)","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115021570","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared with previous generators based on SRD, a novel structure is adopted in the proposed one. The generator is composed of a shunt SRD, a series SRD, 3 RC networks and a short-circuited microstrip stub. In the proposed generator, the RC networks substitute for DC bias, the shunt SRD works as edge sharpener while series SRD generates short gaussian pulse, and the short-circuited micro-strip stub is utilized for shaping the second-order derivative pulse. The circuit is simulated by Advanced Design System (ADS) and fabricated. Measured results indicate that the pulse duration is about 800ps, and the peak-to-peak magnitude is 1.2 volt. Good symmetry has been shown in the measured pulse, and the ringing level is approximately -16dB.","PeriodicalId":124509,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Communication and Computing (ICSPCC 2013)","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122992280","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
