The issues of using e-learning methods in distance learning have been analysed. In the teaching methodology, the questions of determining the feasibility, advantages and disadvantages of implementing distance learning in the educational space and distinguishing between the concepts of “distance learning” and “e-learning” appear. The term “e-learning” is often interpreted as synonymous with “distance learning”, but the authors of this article note that this is not entirely correct. E-learning is only one of the forms used in combination with other forms of learning. Distance learning at the modern level involves the implementation of the educational process only by the network. Distance learning is a method of attending class even if students cannot be there physically. According to the Regulation “On distance learning” in Poltava State Medical University, “distance learning is a set of educational services provided through modern psychological, pedagogical, information and communication technologies”. The purpose of distance learning at the university is to introduce modern information and communication technologies to train the specialists at the educational and qualification levels “bachelor” and “master”, training programmes for interns, and advanced training of doctors according to national educational standards. The article analyses the modern pedagogical research of Ukrainian and foreign schools and presents the results of the analysis of students’ and teachers’ opinions on the introduction of distance learning in the educational process. The article also presents the results of implementing distance education at the Poltava State Medical University in the disciplines “Medical Physics” and “Medical Informatics”. The result of the study proved that distance learning has only advantages theoretically. In practice, many problems need to be solved.","PeriodicalId":124268,"journal":{"name":"Viae Educationis. Доценко","doi":"10.15804/ve.2022.03.09","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15804/ve.2022.03.09","url":null,"abstract":"The article presents the results of a study that was conducted to analyze and evaluate the new pedagogical experience of teachers obtained in distance learning in the context of a global pandemic. According to the results of the survey, most teachers assess this period as more difficult than the period of traditional education, but they consider the experience gained as positive and useful for the future. The teachers noted the need to master modern digital tools suitable for distance learning (video conferencing and communication services, recording audio and video lectures, etc.), design and transform their lecture courses, methodological materials and all auxiliary materials for successful online learning. Teaching graphic disciplines, as well as a new look at the possibilities of social networks, instant messengers and the e-learning system of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. At present, an urgent task is to comprehend this experience in order to understand its essence, identify positive and negative factors, determine the most effective technologies in terms of teaching disciplines by teachers and assimilation of material by students, predicting possible options for the development of the education system within the framework of not anti-pandemic measures, but during hostilities and after the introduction of martial law in Ukraine. This experience was very useful for the teachers of our country, because, despite today’s conditions, the educational cycle continues in some regions of the country. Teachers were asked questions about their psychological state in the initial period of online learning, when they had not yet gained some experience in this area, and questions about the experience, quality and achievements of the students and teachers themselves during distance learning. The opinions of teachers differed in assessing the degree of assimilation of educational material by students in the context of online learning. Most teachers believe that students have mastered the material at the same level as in full-time study, or even better; some teachers noted a decrease in this level. The need to ensure the appropriate quality of education requires finding ways to solve problems that arise in the process of distance learning in modern military and post-war conditions in Ukraine.","PeriodicalId":124268,"journal":{"name":"Viae Educationis. {"title":"Pedagogical Conditions for Forming Legal Competence in Junior Bachelors in Studying at Higher Education Institutions","authors":"O.Yu. The essence of the phenomenon of “legal competence” of junior bachelor in the field of humanities of higher educational institutions is clarified and scientifically proved. The content of the concept “legal competence” is revealed; the basic components of legal competence (axiological, cognitive, humanitarian, acmeological, empirical) are revealed; the efficiency of pedagogical conditions in forming the legal competence of junior bachelors of higher education institutions is scientifically proved. It has been established that higher education institutions in the humanities provide a specialist with a “junior bachelor” degree with certain knowledge, skills and abilities of a legal orientation, which forms legal competence during certain pedagogical conditions. The article also presents the most effective pedagogical conditions designed to develop legal competence in junior bachelors of higher education, namely: organisation of education aimed at stimulating positive motivation for professional activity of specialists of education and qualification level of a junior bachelor; reflection in the content of professional disciplines of the specificity and originality of integration of legal knowledge with the disciplines of the humanities cycle; directing undergraduate self-study to develop self- -reflection skills and an understanding of the role of research work and varied practice in it; encouraging undergraduate students to volunteer. The pedagogical model of legal competence formation for junior bachelors in the humanities contains four blocks: purposeful, content, operation-activity and evaluation-result. It has been found that to successfully develop students’ legal competence, it is necessary to create pedagogical conditions in a higher education institution for teachers to use innovative methods and techniques (research methods, projects, cases, debates, presentations, etc.). It is precisely innovative teaching methods that effectively contribute to the quality of education by developing the creative abilities of individuals. The main attention is paid to using quests in studying chemical disciplines in distance learning. The purpose of the study is to identify the main aspects of web quests’ effectiveness in the training of future medical professionals, revealing the main stages of the organisation. Specific examples of quests are also given from my own practical experience. An analysis of recent publications on this issue was carried out, and as a result, we argue that scientific sources do not sufficiently cover tuse of web quests in the study of chemical disciplines in higher medical education institutions, which is the impetus for the study. The article presents the stages of organising quests for students in the discipline “Medical Chemistry”, which include both the actual creation of a blog (initial, thematic, address, final), as well as the choice of topic, goals, tasks, division of responsibilities between participants and publication of results during distance learning (online conferences, videos, projects, booklets, commercials, prevention essays). It is presented an analysis of a survey of teachers and students on the effectiveness of the introduction of this technology in the training of future medical professionals. The analysis of the results shows that web quests meet modern requirements for implementing the educational process in medical and educational institutions and contribute to acquiring professional competence. Teachers and students who participated in the survey noted that web quests are an effective modern technology that promotes motivation, interest in the subject and chosen profession, and the formation of key competencies that must have a modern medical professional to be competitive. The theoretical and methodological substantiation of the researched problem is determined. The analysis of the works of scientists allowed to emphasize the need to cover this issue. Emphasis is placed on the process of cognition, which has several stages and it begins with the innate curiosity of the child. Under the guidance of an adult, whether in a preschool or with parents at home, curiosity is formed, which later grows into cognitive interest. The formation and improvement of cognitive interest, which generates cognitive activity, which is the culmination of the development and formation of the personality of a preschool child, is highlighted. It was found that curiosity is a source of cognitive interest of the preschooler, as well as the processes underlying the cognitive activity of older preschool children. The structure of the child’s curiosity development is clarified, which is formed on the basis of elementary curiosity and with further guidance develops on the basis of children’s natural cognitive needs. The process of cognition is full of emotions caused by the process of intellectual work and the perspective that arises in the course of cognition. Signs of preschooler’s curiosity are expressed, which are expressed in cognitive issues, desire to find solutions to problems, to gain new knowledge, inner openness to people, phenomena, the world, sincere desire to meet cognitive needs and gain new experiences or impressions. The conditions of successful development of curiosity in preschool children are characterized: creation of cognitive environment (fullness of zones, centers), encouragement of manifestations of independence in solving problems, in various activities, providing information that determines children’s social experience, holistic view of the environment, a variety of ways of activity and is actualized as cognitive activity. The connection between curiosity and its importance, which will be needed in the further school stage of life, is considered, because it is the basis on which the process of formation and development of independent cognitive activity of a senior preschooler is built. It is proved that successful mastering of experience, effective development of personality occurs only in active activity, in purposeful efforts to obtain the planned result. Much depends on the human environment: understanding, stimulation, support, communication are important in the formation of personality and education of curiosity. {"title":"Соціальний аспект працеохоронної підготовки майбутніх учителів","authors":"Юлія Глінчук","doi":"10.15804/ve.2022.03.11","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15804/ve.2022.03.11","url":null,"abstract":"Attention is drawn to the unsatisfactory state of health of Ukrainians against the background of low demographics, unfavorable socio-economic situation, pandemic of coronavirus COVID-19 and the consequences of hostilities. It is noted that this threatens the future of the Ukrainian nation. The urgency of the problem of poor health and high levels of injuries in general secondary education is emphasized. It is claimed that there is a relationship between the health of teachers and the health of students in general secondary education. Data on the unsatisfactory state of health of Ukrainian teachers are given. Based on the analysis of recent research and publications on this issue, it is concluded that modern teachers are not ready to create safe and healthy conditions during the educational process, that is their incompetence in the field of labor protection, based on misunderstanding of its social significance. It calls for integration into the European community, where the occupational safety training of future specialists is a priority, and the level of labor protection is identified with the level of development of the state. Based on the theoretical and methodological analysis of the research problem, it is noted that, despite the presence of certain developments, the social context of occupational training of future teachers is insufficiently covered. It is emphasized that the direct reflection of social demands and challenges are legislative documents. It was found that the need to strengthen measures to preserve the health of minors is stated in the leading documents of the international, national and sectoral levels. It is argued that social challenges and demands are reflected in scientific publications. It has been studied that leading scientists have an important role of general secondary education institution in creating a safe and healthy environment and the need for appropriate training of future teachers. It was found that, despite the provisions of leading documents and the beliefs of scientists, in practice, the loss of health by students of general secondary education is characterized by a tendency to deteriorate. This has prolonged catastrophic consequences, as applicants for general secondary education move into the category of workers in 1015 years. And workers are practically the only category of the population that fills the state budget, while other categories require public spending. Loss of health at the stage of general secondary education will inevitably have a negative impact on the further health and efficiency of workers. Accordingly, the state will suffer economic losses related to the payment of sick leaves, loss of working time, interruptions in production activities, medical expenses, etc. The conclusion is made about the importance and strategic nature of occupational training of future teachers in the context of ensuring sustainable development of society.","PeriodicalId":124268,"journal":{"name":"Viae Educationis. The activities of a food industry specialist are presented as multifunctional and multicomponent. The main functions of the activity are listed. These functions of activity include: organizational, operational, prognostic, informational. The implementation of each function is considered as a necessary factor in the development of professionally significant personality traits of a future food technology specialist. There are six groups of qualities that must be possessed by a specialist in nutrition technology. Among them: cognitive (perception, memory, thinking, attention, imagination), communicative (attentiveness, personal culture, professional communication, interaction with customers, consumers, colleagues, management), competence (awareness, diligence, dedication, commitment). efficiency, experience, professional self-determination and self-realization), emotional and volitional (initiative, activity, optimism, politeness, tact), organizational (punctuality, concentration, discipline), motivational and value (sustainable motivational values and guidelines, professional interests, positive motivation, perseverance in achieving the goal), moral and psychological humanism, honesty, decency, tolerance, responsibility for their own actions and deeds). The role and place of each of the groups of professionally significant qualities of nutrition technology specialists, their significance for work in production are analyzed. Dual education has been identified as an important aspect of the formation of professionally important personality traits of future specialists in food technology. Dual education provides high quality training in nutrition technology, continuity and consistency of all stages of learning, flexibility and variability of educational programs, adaptability and socialization of students to the working environment, creates appropriate conditions for personal development of students, development of their important professional qualities. It is emphasised that dual education creates the conditions for engaging enterprises into the training process. The peculiarities of the implementation of dual education are related to the alternation of periods of theoretical training and practical practice, updating the learning conditions, flexibility of the curriculum, taking into account the individual trajectory of development and the interests of each student.","PeriodicalId":124268,"journal":{"name":"Viae Educationis.
