To the grid, in order to accurately identify the weak area of the grid, line selection model bases on net present value (NPV) method is established. To the users, transformation revenue quantification model is established, and the mitigation capacity of dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is taken as the optimization variable and the maximum users' benefit is taken as the objective. Considering the investment and loss of the two sides, the transformation benefit objective function and comprehensive transformation optimization model are established combined with the NPV method, and it is derived by using the chained agent genetic algorithm (CAGA). The simulation analysis in IEEE-30 system verifies the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.","PeriodicalId":123761,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference on Power and Renewable Energy (ICPRE)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128756858","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two approximation modeling methods are discussed in this paper. Three test functions are used for estimating the approximation model. In order to get the computational accuracy and computational efficiency the approximation models for both RSM and Kriging method are established. By employing the approximation models the performance are obtained and the results are given. From the result, it can be seen that the Kriging method has high computational accuracy, while the computational time is much larger than the RSM. The RSM is more suitable for low order nonlinear problem. And Kriging method is suitable for high order nonlinear problem. If the problem no requirement on computational time, Kriging method can be used for its high in computational accuracy.","PeriodicalId":123761,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference on Power and Renewable Energy (ICPRE)","volume":"480 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122742836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, AC structure has obvious disadvantages. On the one hand, there are a lot of traditional low-voltage converters in the main grid. On the other hand, the line loss increases a lot due to the low line voltage of AC system. In the investigation we described here, we proposed a new type of full scale Photovoltaic DC Power Generation System. The station bus in the system was high-voltage DC bus and made of the high-power phase-shifted full-bridge DC-DC modules to realize the maximum power point tracking. And the high voltage of DC bus was built by the series of DC-DC converter modules. The DC bus structure was helpful to decrease the line loss. At the same time, the phase-shift converter, to which the technology of Zero Voltage Switch can apply, help to reduce the switching loss and increase the operation efficiency. This paper concerned about the series Phase-shifted full-bridge DC-DC converters in the new type of full scale Photovoltaic DC Power Generation System. In the investigation we discussed here, we simulated a single 100kW Phase-shifted full-bridge module to trace the maximum power point. We focused on the distribution of capacitor voltage in series DC-DC modules. At the same time, much research about transition process and response when some modules worked out or the PV characteristics changed had been done in the paper.","PeriodicalId":123761,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference on Power and Renewable Energy (ICPRE)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116433115","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The transfer strategies consist of the transition from grid-connected mode to islanded mode and from the islanded mode to grid-connected mode. To begin with, the paper introduces the photovoltaic (PV) — battery energy storage system (BESS) microgrid system and the corresponding control methods of the microsources. Then the smooth mode transfer strategies are presented, which include transfer between islanded mode and grid-connected mode. As a new type of heat pump, the air source heat pump has advantages of energy saving, environment protection and good flexibility. In this paper, PV generation power during generation peak time is consumed by air source heat pumps to produce and storage heat. First, this paper establishes a basic thermophysical model of air source heat pump and analyzes the method of using air source heat pumps to consume PV generation power. Second, a control strategy for consuming PV generation power by clustering air source heat pumps with different parameters is proposed. Then, a multi-objective scheduling model of air source heat pumps is presented. Finally, NSGA-II is used to solve the multi-objective model, and the corresponding Pareto optimal solutions are obtained. The simulation results show that the model proposed in this paper can well follow the PV generation output, reduce the PV power curtailment and heating cost of users.","PeriodicalId":123761,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference on Power and Renewable Energy (ICPRE)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125247740","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Then establishes the simulation model of HVDC transmission system based on PSCAD/EMTDC, by which the line fault under different transition resistance and fault distance are simulated. Combined with the actual configuration and setting value of the line protection to analyze, the results show that the sensitivity of the terminal grounding fault caused by the one side protection input become poor. Therefore, it is proved that the two station configuration protection mode chosen in this project is suitable for operational settings of line protection, and the line protection can be operated correctly in the event of a fault.
