Following the preliminary knowledge of the frequentness of sexual violence in marriage and intimate relationships, which because of its sensitive nature is rarely reported and even harder to prove, the purpose of this work is, through a discursive analysis of the social context and structures in which it manifests itself, to penetrate deep into the roots of this form of violence, which can not be treated as a private issue of intimate partners. Also, through the analysis of the legislation in the Republic of Macedonia, as well as the existing mechanisms and the concrete measures taken, this work should also show what has been done and what needs to be done in terms of dealing with this form of gender-based violence. The participants were students from one city school, 85 from third grade (nine years old, in middle childhood), and 109 from seventh grade (thirteen years old, in early adolescence). The results show that the students from third grade highly estimate the quality of family interaction, and they also highly estimate the acceptance and emotionality of both parents, while control and rejection of the mother and the father were generally perceived as very low. The results obtained from seventh grade students show similar values to those from third grade. Comparing the two groups of students with regard to perceiving parental behavior results, it could be concluded that third grade students perceived higher quality of family interaction than seventh grade students, and the same is true for parental acceptance and emotionality, but they estimate the parental control and rejection significantly lower than adolescents. All this leads to the conclusion that younger children perceived their parents differently than adolescents. The parents may show more physical and verbal love for the younger children than for adolescents, but because of the process of individuation adolescents experience greater control by parents. On the one hand, the political nature of the changes entails changes in the economic model (adoption of a market model), the transformation in the sphere of ideology (vision of the world, social order, place of the individual in society). On the other, Polish society has entered the global market: economic, educational and cultural; became the subject to the processes taking place on a global scale and have been confronted with the need to adapt to changing conditions. These processes have launched a phenomenon hitherto unknown, such as unemployment, withdrawal of the State from the function of care, which weakened the sense of security at the nation and individual. On the one hand, to the education system the most important challenges were these being the consequence of the global knowledge-based society, where the level of qualification plays an important role in achieving success, on the other, and the emergence of the labour markets, which formulate their expectations at the education system. No less important, there were problems in the educational sphere that occurred as a result of changes: the transformation of value system, vision of the world and its order, but also the risks arising from the impact of the global media culture. Our assumption is that these phenomena could be analysed using different categories such as cultural shock, social and cultural trauma and social problem. Analysis of these phenomena will be the subject of our contribution. One of them is corruption. It can be stated that corruption is a current problem of the world. The question is how widespread is it and what is the social, and above all organized action to such a condition. Development of society and economy, institutional and political system or the dominant social and cultural norms represent elements that together can be grouped in various ways, but corruption remains a scourge from which any country, including Macedonia is not spared. Its citizens perceive it as a particular problem they face. This paper attempts to display the research model on corruption, by presenting the results about corruption of the public opinion polls conducted in the country in 2013, 2014 and 2015 (the last research from 2015 is ongoing and is being implemented in the period from 08.01.2015 to 20.01.2015). Thus, the level of corruption (from minimum score 1 to maximum 10) according to assessed citizens is highest among customs and the customs officers and in 2013 it totaled 8.18, while in 2014 it was 7.96. Political leaders are assessed with an average score of 8.06 in 2013 and 7.93 in 2014, and following are the political parties with a score of 8.04 in 2013 and 8.09 in 2014. We can see a similar pattern for judges with 7.97 in 2013, i.e. 8.02 in 2014, and for holders of public (administrative) functions with 7.88 in 2013 and 7.73 in 2014. Unfortunately, the reality shows that in recent years the sporting events have become an arena for violence and aggressive behaviour, both on part of the direct actors – sportsmen and referees – and on part of the supporter’s groups. In order to overcome this situation and to stop the violence on the sports grounds, the research studies that have been regularly conducted suggest that one of the most desirable and effective way of preventing sports violence is to strengthen the sports culture and the good manners in sport.. The point of real sport lovers is by spreading the sports culture and the good manners in sport to practice all norms and values that shall contribute towards overcoming the negative social phenomena during sporting events. It is known that corruption, as a form of organized crime, occurs in post-conflict societies - which Bosnia and Herzegovina is - with characteristic crisis of morality and disturbed system of values. Corruption implies multiple outcomes for the whole society and all its segments, because of the negative social phenomenon, which has enormous political, legal, economic, social, cultural, moral and other consequences. The article describes the types, aspects and extent of corruption in our society, and the possibilities and ways of combating them. The word corruption etymologically comes from the Latin word “corruptio” meaning wickedness to commit depravity, debauchery, bribery or forgery3 (Vujaklija, 2007:480). Corruption in any society is a complex phenomenon, and in our culture it is most commonly identified with willingness to receive a bribe. Bribery is a universal phenomenon present in all modern, civilized, societies and nations. However, regardless of how complex this phenomenon is, it is perceived as dishonest and criminal directly endangering the economic, political and social power of the society. Corruption is also present in the highest levels of government in the form of judgment processing in the judicial or law enforcement system. The prevalence of this form of corruption is a clear indication of the kind of rule of law that reigns in a country. It is typical for underdeveloped countries and societies in transition. Corruption is often an obstacle to private and foreign investment, trade and economic development where certain business activities of private companies may be affected by crime in various forms from blackmail and extortion, carried out by organized criminal groups, through serious fraud, vandalism or threats. These forms of actions prepare fertile ground for the spread of organized crime. Republic of Srpska and Kosovo* represent case studies due to a set of similarities which are inherent to those social frameworks, and certain specificities which are making them “original” cases in social researches. Our research results indicate a sort of re-traditionalization of the role of post war family members including their endeavour to maintain functionality and unity of family “at all costs” in societies of “high risk”. Besides, those results point to a set of other strategies that individuals and their households undertake in order to preserve “normality” of everyday life in societies which are facing the prevailing nationalistic ideologies twenty or fifteen years after the termination of the open armed conflicts, which “hinder” the establishment of peaceful conditions for life and work. In the first part of the paper, we are indicating the timeline of events being shaped by the two mentioned societies in the form of post-war societies in order to visualize the importance of socio cultural capital more clearly, as the condition to develop the working strategies of post war family households.
