The performance of the antennas designed are analyzed and compared with other commonly proposed flexible substrate which are Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and RO3003. The performance of the antennas is compared based on the return loss of the antenna, bandwidth of the antenna and gain of the antenna. The effect of antenna bending to the performance of the antenna are also executed in this paper. Metal obstructions of different materials, gauges, surfaces and finishing exist in wireless signal propagation. However, little work has been done on quantification of their obstructive effects on radio signal propagation. This research work focuses on determining quantitatively the effect of iron metal obstructions on the transmission of signals. The experimental setup consisted of an access point acting as a signal transmitter and a laptop acting as a receiver and metal obstructions obstructing the path of signals. The readings taken indoor were compared with the readings taken outside using the similar experimental scenario. Tamograph software was used for comparison between the practical and simulated environments. The simulated scenarios also followed the same pattern of reduction in the received power as obstructions were introduced. The results have quantified the effects of iron obstruction placed between the Line-of-Sight Path between transmitter and receiver. ECG wearable smart textile is a shirt with an embedded textile sensor that can capture ECG data in more convenient and user-friendly ways, particularly for continuous and long-term ECG data acquisition outside of the laboratory and clinical environment. However, the current challenge with wearable ECG smart textile is wearable smart textile data quality and reliability. Eight healthy volunteers participated in this study, whereas four wore the Hexoskin smart textile and four wear the HeartIn smart textile for the heart rate and ECG data acquisition. The study concludes that both wearable smart textiles, even though in different materials and different types of textile ECG electrodes, are suitable for ECG biometrics on-the-go. Although, both wearable smart textile data acquisition is affected by its wearer’s motion artefacts, concerning the shifting of body postures and the wearer body’s physical states. The major issue of IoT applications is in the field of security. The lower level of IoT consists of sensors and actuators network. The main issue related with security of these devices is that these are very resource constrained devices. In order to implement security mechanism in these types of devices we require lightweight techniques. Today’s available lightweight hash functions are fixed parameter based and less flexible to hash small messages. We proposes a New Mersenne Number transform based lightweight hash function suitable for IoT. The New mersenne number transform provides good diffusion. The Proposed method is tested in Zolertia mote using Cooja simulator. The proposed system has less execution time, 1.3 seconds and less resource requirements as compared to other lightweight hash functions. As a result of the development of technical means, there is a growing demand for software tools for parallel computing of signals based on multi-processor and multi-core processors.This article is devoted to evaluating the effectiveness of the parallelization of fast Haar transform algorithm, which is widely used in digital signal processing based on Blackfin ADSP-BF561 dual-core processors from Analog Devices, Inc. Functional descriptions of the ADSP-BF561 dual-core processor architecture are given. The parallel algorithm has been developed for the fast transformation of Haar on Andrews. The creation of a parallel computing program for dual-core processors on the VisiualDSP++ development environment is considered. The application project describes the structure of the interconnection of the cores in the use of common data. The results of the time spent calculating fast Haar transform based on the values obtained by the analytical function on ADSP-BF533 single-core and ADSP-BF561 dual-core processors are presented. The results were compared, the acceleration coefficient and efficiency coefficients were determined. Acceleration coefficients are plotted on the graphics. For dual-core signal processors, we were able to use the generated parallel algorithm to reduce the time spent processing signals to a single-core. However, it is observed that the One-Stop Centre OSCent at Kulliyyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia faces the problem of managing its inventory as the members in OSCent are students on a shift basis, as well as using the manual inventory system. Unrecorded item sold, mismanagement, overstock or even understock are the results of a manual system. We proposed a Cloud-Based Integrated Inventory System which uses the application of PHP and MySQL as the database. Interface design is constructed by using HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets. The complete system has been released to OSCent rated according to its functionality, interface, security level and performance. 55 per cent of the respondents rated the system to be very good, 23 per cent believe it is good while 17 per cent rated it average. In addition, 67 per cent admits that the interface is well designed by optimising the available pages and arrange the pages according to their main function. Efficiency was tested based on timing, OscentiS recorded 95 per cent faster than the manual method. In this research, the implementation of smart traffic light prototype, smart means the object is capable of autonomous computing and connected with other devices. Implementation utilizing the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol as a communication protocol, so that when there is an emergency, the vehicle will get the green light signal priority. So it can reduce congestion constraints and go to the destination as quickly as possible. Based on this case, this research implemented the architecture or design of traffic light communication current based on an IoT network that aims to connect between traffic light devices at intersections so that devices can communicate through Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) network protocol. In this implementation, the GPS device will send location data to the cloud using MQTT protocol and then the data will be processed and forwarded by the cloud to the traffic light device also using MQTT protocol. So the traffic lights will turn into a green signal on the path that will be passed by the vehicle when the distance has entered the system area. The quality of internet connection will greatly affect data delivery time using the MQTT protocol. The very first step of process mining is availability of event log which can be obtained by preprocessing event log from other data or databases. Preprocessing event log divided into three parts, namely the transformation of the database to event log, filtering activities of event log, and separating the event log based on day, week, month, and year. The transformation is carried out to convert the data in the TOS (Terminal Operating System) database into an event log containing the process of importing goods at the Container Terminal in Surabaya, Indonesia. Transformation is carried out to obtain the contents of event log needed, such as process ID, activity or message, actor, execution time, cost, and activity or message supporting attributes. This research will focus on how to convert the timestamp in the TOS database into the timestamp of event log, namely single timestamp and double timestamp. The two main methods proposed in this paper are firstly, inverse of the normal cumulative distribution and secondly, by using sojourn time. The renewable energy system has thousands of source component, and all are also located in different distance. With the time some sources may become inefficient, or any natural calamity may damage the source which causes power line faults or require schedule maintenance for better service. Some of these faults are slow developing and some are high impact. Though, the systems have safety component to suppress the issue, but affects the power generation and conduct smart grid miscalculations. A smart microgrid should have a smart Fault Location Detection and Fault Suppression unit to overcome any unnecessary burdens and uncertainties. This research modelled a smart grid system combined with a faulty detection mechanism for an efficient mechanism to overcome uncertainties. The novelty of this research is to model a SMG based on a SGC mechanism for an isolated small area, combined with a faulty detection system for an efficient mechanism to overcome uncertainties. The Faulty Location Detection (FLD) process is centered by wavelet trigger signal and mathematical morphology algorithm. In the method, the wavelet trigger signal caused by the equivalent current or voltage for a short time, travels to both terminals of the line are simulated to identify whether the fault occurs in the short branch using mathematical morphology algorithm. The modeled SMG system is divided into several segmental short branch for FLD system. Through a combined Human Machine Interface (HMI) for SMG performance and FLD monitoring process are shown for smart approach.
