This paper presents a study of classifying EMG signal patterns using back-propagation and radial basis neural networks. Since the pattern of the EMG signal elicited may differ depending on the activity of the muscle movement. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to demonstrate the effectiveness of the neural networks on discriminating the patterns of certain activities to their respective category. Experiments were carried out on a selected muscle. Five subjects were asked to perform several series of voluntary movement with the respect to the muscle concerned. From the EMG data obtained, four statistical features are computed and are applied to the networks. Comparison is made based on the elements of the networks and the classification rate achieved. Treatment of the above mentioned systems are discussed. For this purpose, Sekko & al. developed a structure, which is improved later by Neveux, in order to produce an inverse computing filter with constant gain. The disadvantage of this approach is the resulting Kalman filter has to be used on line. In order to solve this problem, we propose a combination of the idea that has been proposed by Biemond, which gives the advantage to decorrelate lines (or columns) of the image, with the theory of the world in torus and the developed tools for uncertain systems. There are many factors that contribute to traffic congestion, however; there is one that plays a major role in giving rise to a phenomenon called “Traffic Waves”, and that is driver behavior. Traffic waves also called “stop waves” or “traffic shocks”, and they are travelling disturbances in the distribution of cars on a highway, which seems to appear without any reason, propagating backwards and severely slowing traffic flow on roads. Implementing Ethernet even at the lowest level is suitable for a better interface and offer advantages of direct access of information and equipment diagnostic. This paper proposes the integration between the industrial communications network based on the Ethernet protocol and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) system. The Ethernet module is installed onto supervisory OMRON PLC to integrate several stations in the CIM-70A system to overcome real-time communication in terms of retrieving data from other stations. The workability of this communication technique is analyzed and compared with the conventional serial communication which is widely used in automation networking systems. The designed sensor was based on the transmitted properties of particles in air samples. It used LED's as sources and a phototransistor as detector. The detected signals were displayed in terms of the output voltage readings recorded by a voltmeter. The algorithm has been developed and used for the measurement of TSP concentrations. This multilayer diaphragm in general acts as sensor or actuator. ANSYS was used for simulation of diaphragm. Dynamics characteristics of this multilayer diaphragm have been investigated. By this simulation the effective parameters of the multilayer PZT diaphragm for improving the performance of a pressure sensor in different ranges of pressure are optimized. The optimized thickness ratio of PZT layer to SiO2 was given in the paper to obtain the maximum deflection of the multilayer thin-film PZT diaphragm. A 0–3 ceramic/ceramic composite lead zirconate titanate, Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 film has been developed to fabricate the pressure sensor by a hybrid sol gel process. PZT nanopowders fabricated via conventional sol gel method and uniformly dispersed in PZT precursor solution by an attrition mill. Preparing of precursor started from 2-methoxyethanol as a solvent and acetylacetone (acac) as a chelating agent. The resulting composite solution deposited onto platinized silicon by spin coating, pyrolysis at 380°C and annealed at 650°C for 30 minutes, respectively. XRD analysis shows that perovskite structure would be formed due to the presence of a significant amount of ceramic nanopowders. This texture has a good effect on piezoelectric properties of perovskite structure. The film forms a strongly bonded network and less shrinkage occurs, so the films do not crack during process. Also the aspect ratio through this process would be increased. Our stereo algorithm relies on over-segmenting the source image. Computing match values over entire segments rather than single pixels provides robustness to noise and intensity bias. Color-based segmentation helps to split each image into regions that are likely to contain similar disparities. By employing a dynamic programming technique that applies regularization weights both along and across the scanlines, we solve the typical inter-scanline inconsistency problem. To adaptively determine regularization weight functions, we propose second-stage segmentation that assigns small weights to regions of two different segments to let their common boundary to be accounted as disparity jump. Image registration is the key step in combining multiple independent low-resolution images to give one large mosaic image with high resolution. Our research is based on Scale Invariant Features Transform (SIFT detector/descriptor) for geometric and photometric images registration for mosaicing. The proposed super-resolution technique is also based on SIFT features and integrated to the image mosaicing in order to construct a full high resolution UAV map that is insensitive to the order, orientation, scale and illumination of the images.
