It is now relatively common to change jobs frequently, rather than to grow with one company throughout the employment life. This kind of voluntary turnover directly affects the performance of the organization. So now all organizations are highly concerned to keep their valuable employees. Each day completed by an employee is an investment to an organization; to leave before the full term is to get no return on the investment. As banking is one of the vital service industry for any country and performing a number of roles in the economy, so it has been chosen by the researchers for this study. Like all other industries, banking sector in our country is also facing the same employee turnover problem. It is needless to say, healthy banking system and healthy economies seem to go together. In order to ensure that, banking sectors should focus on the factors, which are primarily responsible for employees leaving the organization. This paper mainly tries to focus on organization politics as perceived reason of employees of financial sector for leaving decision from their existing organizations.","PeriodicalId":121456,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on Information Sciences and Computing","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130460436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Detection and correct identification of gasoline types during Arson and Fuel Spill Investigation are very important in forensic science. As the number of arson and spillage becomes a common place, it becomes more important to have an accurate means of detecting and classifyin gg asoline found at such sites of incidence. However, currently only a very few number of classification models have been explored in this germane field of forensic science, particularly as relates to gasoline identification. Thus, we have developed Support Vector Machines (SVM) based identification model for identifyin gg asoline types. The model was constructed usin gg as chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) spectral data obtained from gasoline sold in Canada over one calendar year. Prediction accuracy of the model was evaluated and compared with earlier used methods on the same datasets. Empirical results from simulation showed that SVM based model produced accurate and promising results better than the best among the other earlier implemented Artificial Neural Network and Principal Component Analysis methods on the same datasets.","PeriodicalId":121456,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on Information Sciences and Computing","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131654381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Job Satisfaction is an important indicator of how employees feel about their jobs and a predictor of work behaviours such as absenteeism and turnover (Michael Armstrong, 1994). SME sector is an important driver of Indian economy that produces more than 8000 products. During our study, it was found that employees at engineering sector of SME are dissatisfied with certain constituents at work place. Interestingly, non monetary factors such as superior-subordinate relationship and treatment have scored more in determining job satisfaction followed by pay and reward practices. This paper attempts to find out constituents that determine job satisfaction at SME.","PeriodicalId":121456,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on Information Sciences and Computing","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133217610","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Passive systems were developed in the beginning to fulfill these requirements. For the applications which require real time location information of the vehicle, these systems can’t be employed because they save the location information in the internal storage and location information can only be accessed when vehicle is available. To achieve Automatic Vehicle Location system that can transmit the location information in real time, Active systems are developed. Real time vehicular tracking system incorporates a hardware device installed in the vehicle (In-Vehicle Unit) and a remote Tracking server. The information is transmitted to Tracking server using GSM/GPRS modem on GSM network by using SMS or using direct TCP/IP connection with Tracking server through GPRS. Tracking several so has GSM/GPRS modem that receives vehicle location information via GSM network and stores this information in database. This information is available to android users over the internet.
