Structural Equation Modeling was used to confirm the relationship of the dimensions of brand equity towards perceived brand equity and perceived brand equity on customer satisfaction. Findings have shown that brand salience, brand performance, brand imagery, brand feelings, brand judgments, brand resonance are significantly affecting factors for perceived brand equity which is enhanced customer satisfaction of tourism industry in Sri Lanka. Further findings of the research conclude that brand salience, brand imagery and brand feelings are the highly affected factors towards perceived brand equity to emerging tourism destination. Also fit indices obtained for the conceptual model implies a high validity of the model in explaining the relations among variables. Hence destination marketing promoters could follow these findings of the research for implementing branding strategies in the sector of destination marketing and these findings could help the implementation bodies or policy makers to prioritize and allocate resources across important dimensions to optimize the investment based on the outcome of the model.","PeriodicalId":121367,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Journal of Marketing and Management Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115804647","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Buying at the organized retail is an enjoyable experience for buyers. The shopping centers are becoming Family Entertainment centers. Some are enticing customers with taglines like “Shop, Eat and Celebrate”. Shopping centers with a number of cineplexes are now emerging which are called as “Hybrid centers”. Organized retailing in India accounts for less than two percent of the total retiling market. However with aggressive investments, organized retailing is set for expansion. The Indian government is also likely to spend USD 150 billion over the next few years to develop world class infrastructure, thereby, aiding growth in the retail sector. A common element of the expansion plans of different players appears to be the hypermarket. All leading Indian retail players are either already present or have plans for Hypermarkets. It will be foolhardy to adopt internationally successful retail formats to India conditions. One such factor could be the rural-urban difference. Hence, ITC is experimenting with a rural hypermarket through its Choupal Sagar format, which combines the grain procurement and storage centre with the mall. A key aspect of the model is to capture the farmer's visit to a mandi to sell his produce and offer a range of products and services to leverage the availability of cash with him/her post the sale.","PeriodicalId":121367,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Journal of Marketing and Management Research","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132042917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To observe the behavior of online shoppers, a structured closed ended questionnaire is used. The questionnaire is prepared to know their reactions on online shopping experience from different perspectives. Correlation and regression analysis are applied to measure the impact of motivational factors on online shopping. This study finds a positive relation between the online shopping stimulators and shopping behaviors of respondents. It also observes that shopping through online is extremely popular among the youngsters but it failed to draw satisfactory attention of the mass people particularly old and technologically challenged due to complex purchase process and payment settlement system, lack of reliability, and traditional mentality of customers.. Looking into the importance of this factor, Demangeot & Broderick (2007) urged upon all marketers to build up such atmosphere by which the needs of online shoppers can be satisfied properly.","PeriodicalId":121367,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Journal of Marketing and Management Research","volume":"130 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131836798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper analyses the importance of Neuro marketing. The method of applying this type of tools in marketing strategies is discussed in detail. The benefit of Neuro marketing for the companies is given as a conclusion. Marketing companies should follow these strategies for benefits both producers and consumers. The results showed that, whereas a Doritos spot stimulated empathy and connection, many of the other expensive advertisement provoked anxiety and fear. Re-searchers noticed that the amygdala, which is a kind of a threat-detector region of the brain, was much more active compared to other brain regions.(Sherman, 2007) The second major important contribution of neuromarketing studies is to understand how consumers make choices during the purchase process. Lee et al. (2007)9 claim that neuro marketing has become a popular technology to establish the probability and non-probability of purchasing decisions. Neuro marketing can be defined as a marketing branch using neuro scientific methods and techniques for analysing and understanding human behaviour with regard to market and important marketing issues.","PeriodicalId":121367,"journal":{"name":"South Asian Journal of Marketing and Management Research","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132878386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
