As of July 2022, Nusantara construction began, with the first phase of clearing land and installing roads. As a matter of fact, Indonesia’s main problem is its high energy consumption. Over one-third of the country’s energy consumption is consumed by buildings. Therefore, energy-saving strategies will be essential to making the cities more sustainable, especially in Nusantara. Since Nusantara was planned to be a model sustainable city that could serve as an example for other Indonesian cities. An analysis of tropical-climate residential building design is presented in this paper. A strategy for energy-efficient buildings is outlined based on literature analysis and results from a case study in tropical cities. An energy simulation analysis shows that middle-rise residential houses adapted from Lamin houses will likely consume less electricity (8%) than typical apartment buildings. The simple adaptation of a traditional local building, Lamin house, to a modern mid-rise residential building suggested an open plan with a long and narrow floor plan, overhang over the window, and cross ventilation through window openings.","PeriodicalId":12085,"journal":{"name":"Evergreen","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135691601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is important to standardize the biodigesters primarily to protect consumers and provide good quality biogas. The purpose of this research was to determine the quality requirements for the small-scale low-pressure biodigester. The research was conducted using interviews with respondents who are biogas practitioners. Questions from the questionnaire related to the quality parameters of biodigesters. The result generally showed that more than 80% of respondents accepted the quality requirements proposed. Furthermore, the quality requirements from this research will be proposed as the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) .","PeriodicalId":12085,"journal":{"name":"Evergreen","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135691576","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was conducted using general scientific methods of cognition, namely system analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalisation, concretisation, and formalisation. The study examines the issues of adaptation to global climate change in Central Asia, in particular, in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study determined the degree of increase in warming indicators and its impact on degradation processes in the Aral Sea and glacial melting in the region. The use of the developed formula for assessing climate change intensity at the regional level is justified, providing a basis for preventive and eliminative actions. The study's results are practically important for optimizing the National Adaptation Plan and the National Drought Management Plan. Therewith, the priority is the synergy of the goals of environmental prevention and economic feasibility, considering modern innovative opportunities for modelling, forecasting, and the direction of the development vectors of Uzbekistan towards a positive global trend of sustainable development and the prevention of climate change.","PeriodicalId":12085,"journal":{"name":"Evergreen","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135690512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are four major lubrication regimes i.e., boundary, mixed, elasto-hydrodynamic & hydrodynamic. Most of the industrial machines & equipment’s moving surfaces in contact, works in the mixed lubrication regime. Almost the entire major breakdown related to surface pitting & wear resulted from high friction occurs in this regime only. A lot of study & research is required in this field for improving the tribological performance of the surfaces in contact. Hardness of the base material always plays an important role in the performance of the tribological pair in all lubrication regimes especially in mixed lubrication. Therefore, authors consider the tribo pair of brass & EN31 as base material for conducting the study of the effect on various tribological parameters in mixed lubrication regime with VG-46 lubricant. Authors have also focused themselves to investigate the effect of the hardness of the base material (EN31) on the friction & wear parameters for the above mentioned tribo pair & lubricant in mixed lubrication regime because of its wide practical & industrial applications in most of the equipment & machines Also, this tribological pair is the most imperative pair used in enormous industrial applications. VG-46 is also an effective lubricant used in various industrial setups.","PeriodicalId":12085,"journal":{"name":"Evergreen","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135690306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
