It signifies that, so far, the therapy has not been effective. In fact, Passiflora foetida L. has the potential as an anti-asthma therapy since it contains apigenin, luteolin, and kaempferol and is easy to obtain. The method used in this research was quantitative experimental, with a post-test only design with a control group. The extraction technique employed was maceration. The test animals were made asthma models with lipopolysaccharide and ovalbumin for 17 days. Therapy was given on days 13-16. The negative control was given distilled water, while the positive control was given dexamethasone therapy. Then, lung histopathology was performed by assessing the degree of alveolar damage utilizing the Hansel and Barnes criteria. Alveolar edema, alveolar septal destruction, and inflammatory cell infiltration were then measured to demonstrate alveolar damage. The analysis results showed that the administration of Ciplukan Blungsu ( Passiflora foetida L. ) leaf extract gave a significant difference (p<0.05) to the histopathological description of the lung organs of the test animals. In conclusion, Ciplukan Blungsu ( Passiflora foetida L. ) leaf extract has a good asthma therapy effect.","PeriodicalId":120811,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Health and Well-Being (ICHWB 2021)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121901269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Adults experience 50-80 percent of the symptoms, and it is the leading cause of disability when compared to other diseases. One of the risk factors for pain is vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D aids in the maintenance of musculoskeletal health in patients with paraspinal muscle weakness and atrophy, such as those with LBP. Because of the controversy surrounding this topic, this research will specifically examine the effect of giving vitamin D as an analgesic in patients with low back pain. This is expected to serve as a model for the treatment of low back pain in Indonesia. Purpose: This research aims to specifically examine the effect of giving vitamin D as an analgesic to patients suffering from low back pain. Method: This research used the literature review method. Data were taken from articles published in Google Scholar, PubMed, and Science Direct in the last 10 years, which were then eliminated based on restriction criteria and PICO. Results: There were 988 articles found and then excluded based on the restriction criteria, yielding 15 articles to be reviewed. A review of 15 articles discovered several themes; vitamin D alone acted as an analgesic (9 articles), vitamin D combined with light physical exercise (4 articles), and the use of vitamin D did not show significant changes in pain (2 articles). Conclusion: By paying attention to the optimal dose and duration of administration, Vitamin D has the potential to aid in the healing process as an analgesic in patients suffering from low back pain. Vitamin D also has the potential to prevent disease or lessen its severity in people suffering from low back pain.","PeriodicalId":120811,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Conference on Health and Well-Being (ICHWB 2021)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122566554","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Globally more than 50% of young women report dysmenorrhea, with 10-20% experiencing severity. Although dysmenorrhea has a negative impact on a woman's life, many women do not seek hospital treatment associated with dysmenorrhea. Treatment of dysmenorrhea varies mainly. The treatment approach of dysmenorrhea is divided into three: pharmacological, non-pharmacological, and surgical. Exercise therapy has a positive influence on the human body, because exercise therapy not only activates the limbs, but also the organs in it. The study aims to review the effectiveness of therapeutic exercise in improving pain and quality of life in young women with primary dysmenorrhea. A systematic review using PRISMA guidelines for quality appraisal, four electronic databases were accessed that recorded studies on exercise intervention in young women with primary dysmenorrhea (PubMed, Springer, Science Direct, and Pedro). The quality of methodologies was check by PEDro scale. Fifteen studies were included in this research.
