Pengumpulan data utama diperoleh dengan tes dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga orang mahasiswa pendidikan matematika UNM yang dipilih dari dua puluh tiga responden yang mengikuti tes tertulis. Analisis data mengikuti model dari Miles and Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: Kesalahan terbanyak yang dilakukan subjek adalah kesalahan konsep dan operasi, dimana mahasiswa menggunakan rumus yang tidak sesuai dan miskonsepsi dalam mengambil langkah penyelesaian masalah, keliru dalam melakukan perhitungan aljabar dan menggunakan prodesur yang tidak hierarkis. Kemudianl kesalahan prinsip yaitu misinterpretasi masalah dan tidak memperhatikan prasyarat dalam menggunakan rumus. Mahasiswa tidak menggunakan konsep fungsi kuadrat secara spesifik atau tidak mampu menerapkannya sebagai bagian dari langkah pemecahan masalah. Hal ini dikarenakan penguasaan konsep yang kurang dan minimnya pengalaman dalam memecahkan masalah sejenis. \u0000Kata Kunci: Analisis kesalahan, masalah nonrutin, fungsi kuadrat \u0000 \u0000 \u0000This study was a descriptive research by using qualitative approach that aimed to describe the errors made by students in quadratic function real life problems based on basic mathematical objects (facts, principles, concepts, and operation). The data collection were obtained by tests and interview. The subjects of this study were three students of mathematics education department in Universitas Negeri Makassar. Data analysis was used Miles and Huberman model: data collection, data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion. The results of this study said that the most mistakes made by subjects were conceptual errors and operation errors; students didn’t use appropriate formulas, misconceptions in choosed steps to solve problems, wrong in algebraic manipulation, and didn’t use hierarchical procedures. Then principle errors; misinterpretation or failed to grasp what the problem ask to and didn’t cognize the preconditions before using the formula. Students were unable to apply quadratic function specifically as part of the problem solving. Untuk mengidentifikasi terjadinya miskonsepsi dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan CRI (Certaninty of Respon Index) yaitu ukuran tingkat keyakinan/kepastian reposnden dalam menjawab setiap soal yang diberikan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes diagnostik yang dilengkapi dengan kriteria CRI dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa beberapa jenis miskonsepsi yang teridentifikasi adalah (1) Siswa mengalami miskonsepsi konsep terkait definisi variabel dan koefisien, (2) Siswa mengalami miskonsepsi hitung terkait pengoperasian suku-suku sejenis, (3) Siswa mengalami miskonsepsi tanda terkait konstanta, dan (4) Siswa mengalami miskonsepsi terjemahan terkiat koefisien. \u0000Kata Kunci: miskonsepsi, kosep pada materi aljabar, metode CRI \u0000 \u0000 \u0000This research aimed to describe the misconception of class VIII students to solving questions in algebra material. To identify the occurrence of misconceptions in this study, using CRI (Certaninty of Respon Index) was a measure the level of confidence / certainty of respondent in answering each question (problem) given. The instrument data collection technique used was a diagnostic test with CRI criteria and interview. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 siswa kelas XI. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga tingkatan kecerdasan logis matematis, subjek penelitian memiliki kesamaan, dimulai pada tahap memahami masalah subjek mengungkapkan maksud soal dengan bahasa dan kalimat sendiri. Kemudian dalam menyusun rencana pemecahan masalah subjek membuat model matematika. Pada tahap melaksanakan rencana, subjek menentukan nilai-nilai variabel yang dibutuhkan untuk menemukan solusi dari masalah, dan di akhir proses pemecahan masalah subjek memeriksa kembali langkah-langkah yang digunakan dan hasil yang diperoleh. Selain itu, dari ketiga tingkatan kecerdasan logis matematis subjek penelitian memiliki perbedaan, yaitu pada tahap memahami masalah dimana informasi yang diungkapkan subjek KLMT lebih lengkap daripada subjek KLMS dan KLMR. Sementara itu, pada tahap melaksanakan rencana dalam menggunakan prosedur pemecahan masalah subjek KLMT lebih jelas dan tepat. Sedangkan, subjek KLMS dapat menyelesaikan rencana penyelesaiannya yang jawaban akhirnya benar, meskipun prosedur yang digunakan kurang tepat. Kemudian, subjek KLMR menghadapi kendala dalam menyelesaikan masalah karena prosedur yang digunakan tidak jelas. \u0000Kata Kunci: Kemampuan, Pemecahan masalah matematika, Langkah Polya, Kecerdasan logis matematis, Barisan dan deret. \u0000 \u0000This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach that aimed to describe students' mathematical problem solving ability in terms the level of mathematical logical intelligence on sequence and series topic. The subjects in this research were 32 students of class XI MIA. The data collection techniques used in this research were the method of test and interview. The results of the research showed that of the three levels of mathematical logical intelligence, research subjects have similarities, starting at the step of understanding the problem subjects expressed the purpose of the problem with their own language and sentence. Then in devising a problem solving plan subjects make a mathematical model. At the step of carrying out the plan, the subjects determine the variable values needed to find a solution to the problem, and at the end of the problem solving process, subjects looking back the steps used and the results obtained. Meanwhile, from the three levels of mathematical logical intelligence, research subjects have differences, that are at the step of understanding the problem where the information revealed by the subject of KLMT is more complete than the subject of KLMS and KLMR. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 2 orang dengan 1 orang berkemampuan awal matematika tinggi dan 1 orang berkemampuan awal matematika rendah dari siswa kelas VIII SMP. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan terdiri atas tes matematika berbasis TIMSS yang dikhususkan pada konten geometri domain kognitif aplikasi dan penalaran serta pedoman wawancara. Kesalaan yang dianalisis dikategorikan menggunakan kategori kesalahan Newman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Untuk kategori soal mengaplikasikan (applying), siswa kemmpuan awal matematika tinggi tidak mengalami kesalahan, sedangkan siswa berkemampuan matematika rendah mengalami jenis kesalahan transformation, process skills, dan encoding. (2) Untuk kategori soal penalaran (reasoning), siswa berkemampuan awal tinggi mengalami kesalahan tipe transformation, process skills, dan encoding sedangkan siswa berkemampuan awal rendah mengalami kesalahan tipe comprehension, transformation, process skills, dan encoding. \u0000Kata kunci : Kesalahan, Soal Matematika TIMSS, Domain Kognitif applying dan reasoning konten geometri, Kemampuan Awal, Kriteria Newman. \u0000 \u0000This study aims to know the types of errors committed by students with high initial mathematical abilities and low initial mathematical abilities in solving TIMSS-based geometric questions for the cognitive domain of applying and reasoning. The type of this research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The research subjects as many as 2 people with of 1 people with early mathematical abilities and 1 people with low initial mathematical abilities from class VIII SMP. The research instrument consists of a TIMSS-based mathematical test devoted to the geometry content of the cognitive domain application and reasoning and interview guidelines. The difficulties analyzed were categorized using the Newman error category. The results of this research showed that: (1) For the category of applying , students with high initial mathematical abilities did not have errors, while students with low mathematical abilities had types of transformation errors, process skills, and encoding. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Hass yang menggolongkan karakteristik kecerdasan visual spasial atas pengimajinasian, pengkonsepan, pemecahan masalah, dan pencarian pola. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 3 siswa, yaitu 1 siswa dengan kemampuan awal geometri tinggi, 1 siswa dengan kemampuan awal geometri sedang dan 1 siswa dengan kemampuan awal geometri rendah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas soal tes kemampuan awal geometri, soal tes kecerdasan visual spasial materi bangun ruang sisi datar, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Karakteristik yang paling dominan muncul pada siswa adalah karakteristik pencarian pola serta pengimajinasian sedangkan karakteristik yang paling tidak dominan muncul adalah karakteristik pemecahan masalah. (2) Subjek berkemampuan awal geometri tinggi 3 karakteristik kecerdasan visual spasial yakni pengimajinasian, pengkonsepan dan pencarian pola. (3) Subjek berkemampuan awal geometri sedang mampu memenuhi 2 karakteristik kecerdasan visual spasia yakni pengimajinasian dan pencarian pola. (4) Subjek berkemampuan awal geometri rendah tidak mampu memenuhi semua karakteristik kecerdasan visual spasial. \u0000Kata kunci: Kecerdasan, Kecerdasan Visual Spasial, Kemampuan Awal Geometri, Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar, Teori Hass \u0000 \u0000 \u0000The aim of this research is to determine the general description of spatial visual intelligence of students from grade VII of SMP in solving solid figure flat side problems based on the initial ability level of geometry. This research used Hass Theory which classifies the characteristics of spatial visual intelligence based of imagining, conceptualizing, problem solving, and problem seeking. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The research subjects were 3 students. The first subject has high initial ability in geometry, the second subject has moderate initial ability, and the third subject has low initial ability. The research instrument used consists of the initial ability of geometry test questions, spatial visual intelligence of solid figure flat side test questions, and interview guidelines. The research result showed that: (1) The most dominant characteristic that appears in students was the characteristic of problem seeking and imagining, while the least dominant characteristic was problem solving. (2) Subjects who had high initial ability of geometry was able to fulfill 3 spatial visual intelligence characteristics, those were imagining, conceptualizing, and problem seeking. (3) Subjects who had moderate initial ability of geometry was able to fulfill 2 spatial visual intelligence characteristics, those were imagining and problem seeking. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat kausalitas dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 62 siswa dari VIII SMP yang dipilih dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen: (1) angket kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, (2) angket manajemen waktu, (3) angket motivasi belajar, dan (4) tes prestasi belajar matematika. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler siswa berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) manajemen waktu siswa berada pada kategori tinggi, (3) motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi, (4) prestasi belajar matematika siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (5) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan manajemen waktu berpengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (6) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan manajemen waktu belajar tidak berpengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, (7) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tidak berpengaruh positif secara langsung terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, (8) Manajemen waktu berpengaruh negatif secara langsung terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa (9) Motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. This research is ex post facto research which is causality with research sample counted 62 students from class VIII SMP selected by using cluster random sampling. Technique of collecting data using instrument: (1) questionnaire of extracurricular activities, (2) questionnaire of time management, (3) questionnaire of learning motivation, and (4) test result of mathematics learning. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi dan tes pemahaman konsep, dan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Guided Note Taking pada kelas VIII. \u0000Kata Kunci: Mind Mapping, Guided Note Taking, Instrumen Tes Pemahaman Konsep, Lembar Observasi, dan Pemahaman Konsep \u0000 \u0000 \u0000This study was an experimental study involving two treated groups. This study aims to find out a differences in understanding of mathematical concepts between students taught using the Mind Mapping method and the Guided Note Taking method. The study sample consisted of two classes selected using the cluster random sampling technique . Data collection is done by using observation sheets and concept understanding test instruments. Data collected was analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu cluster random sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest), lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan angket respons siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistika deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis statistika deskriptif menunjukkan: (1) rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 3,73 (terlaksana dengan baik),(2) rata-rata hasil pretest yaitu 35 (kategori sangat rendah). Rata-rata hasil posttest yaitu 85 (kategori tinggi), (3) hasil posttest menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal tercapai sebesar 94% (4) rata-rata gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,77 (kategori tinggi), (5) rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa sebesar 90% (sangat aktif) (6) rata-rata persentase siswa yang memberi respons positif sebesar 89%. Hasil analisis statistika inferensial menunjukkan: (1) nilai rata rata siswa yang diajar menggunakan model kolaboratif MURDER lebih besar dari 70, (2) nilai rata rata gain ternormalisasi lebih besar dari 0,3 (kategori sedang), (3) rata rata ketuntasan klasikal lebih besar dari 80%. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kolaboratif MURDER berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, aktivitas, dan respons siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas X. \u0000Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Aktivitas, Respons, Model Kolaboratif MURDER, Matriks \u0000 \u0000 \u0000This study aims to determine the effect of the application of MURDER collaborative model (Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Expand, and Review) on student learning outcomes, activities, and responses in learning mathematics in class X. This research is pre-experiment with quantitative approach with techniques sampling is cluster random sampling. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets of implementation of learning, test results of learning (pretest and posttest), observation sheets of student activities, and student questionnaire responses. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed: (1) the average of learning achievement was 3,73 (well implemented), (2) the average pretest results were 35 (very low category). The average posttest results was 85 (high category), (3) the posttest results show that classical completeness is achieved 94% (4) the average normalized gain is 0,77 (high category), (5) the average percentage of activity students by 90% (very active) (6) the average percentage of students who gave positive response 89%. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIA di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sinjai. Dengan teknik cluster random sampling diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sinjai. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket dan tes, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung tipe kepribadian terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh langsung masing-masing antara motivasi, iklim keluarga dan berpikir divergen terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Sehingga iklim keluarga dan berpikir divergen masing-masing memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap prestasi belajar matematika melalui variabel motivasi. \u0000Kata Kunci: Tipe Kepribadian, Berpikir Divergen, Iklim Keluarga, Motivasi, Prestasi Belajar Matematika \u0000 \u0000 \u0000This study was ex-post facto research which purposed to know the influence of personality type, divergent thinking, family climate, and motivation toward student’s mathematics learning achievement on grade XI of Senior High School in Sinjai. The population of this study is student grade 11th MIA Senior High School in Sinjai. The sampling technique in this study was cluster random sampling, so the sample is 60 student grade 11th MIA in Senior High School in Sinjai. The data was collected using a questionnaire and test, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was no direct and indirect influence of personality types on students' mathematics learning achievement. In addition, there is a direct influence of each of the motivation, family climate and divergent thinking on the mathematics learning achievement of students. Terdapat 3 subjek penelitian yaitu satu siswa berkemampuan tinggi (KMT), satu siswa berkemampuan sedang (KMS), dan satu siswa berkemampuan rendah (KMR). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah instrumen soal tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi mampu menuliskan dengan rinci alur penyelesaian masalah, menjelaskan penyelesaiannya dengan tepat dan sistematis serta mampu membuat kesimpulan dengan tepat. Selain itu, siswa mampu memberikan alasan yang logis terhadap langkah-langkah penyelesaian masalahnya. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa mampu mengkomunikasikan hasil pekerjaannya secara detail. Siswa dengan kemampuan matematika sedang masih memiliki kesalahan dan kekeliruan dalam penyelesaian masalah, alasan-alasan yang digunakan dalam penyelesaian terkadang belum tepat dan penulisan kesimpulan belum sesuai dengan perintah soal. Dengan kata lain, siswa masih kurang mampu untuk mengkomunikasikan hasil pekerjaannya secara detail. Siswa dengan kemampuan matematika rendah cenderung menuliskan penyelesaian masalah secara singkat, belum mampu membuat kesimpulan dari penyelesaian dibuatnya serta belum mampu untuk memberikan penjelasan dari penyelesaian yang dibuatnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa belum mampu mengkomunikasikan hasil pekerjaannya. \u0000Kata kunci : Komunikasi Matematis, Matematika Sekolah, Trigonometri \u0000 \u0000This research is a qualitative research with the aim of describing mathematical communication skills in terms of the level of mathematical ability of students in Senior High School to an understanding of trigonometric equations. There were 3 research subjects namely one student that has high-ability (KMT), one student that has medium-ability (KMS), and one student that has low-ability (KMR). The instruments used in data collection are written questions and interviews. This research shows that student with high mathematical abilities is able to write in detail the flow of problem solving, explain the solution correctly and systematically and be able to draw conclusions appropriately. In addition, students are also able to provide logical reasons for the steps to resolve the problem. Show that can be said that students are able to communicate the results of their work in detail. Student with moderate mathematical abilities still has errors and errors in solving problems, the reasons used in the settlement are sometimes still not correct and the writing of conclusions is still not in accordance with the command questions. So that it can be said that student is still unable to communicate the results of their work in detail.
