{"title":"An Assessing Model for Measuring ERP Benefit","authors":"Songsheng Chen, Peipei Yin","doi":"10.1109/WISM.2010.16","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/WISM.2010.16","url":null,"abstract":"Based on the Contingency theory, using the Balanced Scorecard method, the authors first set up a set of model to measure the performance of ERP from four levels including standard, region, industry and personalization, and then design a specific system for measuring the effectiveness of ERP users. The system uses composite index measurement, which not only takes qualitative indexes into quantitative, but also quantifies the qualitative indexes as many as possible, such as the introduction of user satisfaction obtained from the questionnaire. By doing so, this study overcomes the shortcomings of too simple for some measuring models. Meanwhile, the article uses principal component analysis when measuring the weight of indexes, thus avoid the defects of relying solely on experience. Researchers have successfully used query expansion to help a user in his search need. Global Analysis and Local Analysis are popularly used query expansion methods for this purpose. This paper presents a comparative study of query expansion with dynamic document analysis and thesaurus based analysis. Precision of the results retrieved for the initial query increases with the addition of varying number of words to the query term. So the determination of user contributions is needed in online forums. On the other hand, some users may do some fake contributions for more reward. In this paper, we analyzed possible frauds in online forum, examined the features of each kind of fraud, and proposed some fraud-tolerant parameters according features of frauds. Based on this, frauds of user contributions can be discriminated, and user contributions can be measured quantitatively and fraud-tolerantly, which provides a basis for forums to reward users in various ways. After the existing solutions are compared and extended in the paper, a new SVG_ based solution is provided to represent and compress spatial data. And then the key technologies in the fields of SVG data compression are researched and resolved, in which the improved compression method combined simplified SVG representation and GZIP compression. EXrML has the feature of supporting describing multiple use rules’ same type element comparability. Based on the EXrML we conclude that the root of multiple use rules conflict lies in three elements conflict: principal, right and condition. In order to detect and solve the conflict, we present Use Rules Conflict Detecting algorithm and Consistent Use Rules Creation algorithm. But the remote sensing images’ features of mass, multi-standard, multi-type, multi-scale and multi-thematic cause the difficulty in integrating different images to acquire needed information. This paper proposes an improved architecture of remote sensing image publishing system based on the advanced technologies of image pyramid, tile images, OGC specifications, TMS(Tile Map Service) and Flex. According to this improved system architecture, we design and implement a web-based thematic remote sensing image mutual response system that can publish multi-format, multi-source remote sensing images.
