This study aims to analyse the level of hazardous metal (cadmium, lead, copper, and zinc) in two seasons’ soil samples of four industrial and one (1) control areas of Ogun State, Nigeria. Similarly, blood samples of the volunteers (n = 200) were analysed for the impacts of the metals on serum creatinine (SCr) and blood urea (BUN). The mean metal concentrations for soils samples exhibited significant differences with strong positive correlations (r = 0.995 and 1). Compared with regulatory limits for normal individual concerning BUN and SCr, the results of volunteers were all higher, with BUN at ~200% and SCr at ~82% more. The results presented in this study revealed that both the soil environment and the body health system of the residents are being affected by the rapid industrialization, hence heavily burdened.

Water hyacinth is one of the fastest growing plants they primarily reproduce from runners or stolons. Each plant of E. crassipes can produce thousands of seeds each year and these seeds can remain viable for more than 28 years. Water hyacinth caused water loss through evapotranspiration which is more significant than indigenous weeds. Water hyacinth caused many problems in canals, ponds, lakes, rivers likes they are blocking of canals and causing floods, reduction of water quality, oxygen depletion, increased evapotranspiration rate, fish production problems, the beauty of ponds and effects on human health. Controlling methods of water hyacinth includes physical, chemical and biological but the biological method is effective and environment friendly. Neochetina bruchi, N. eichhorniae, and water hyacinth borer (Sameodes albiguttalis) are found effective biological control on water hyacinth. These weevils are feed on water hyacinth and reducing the size of water hyacinth, its vegetative propagation, and seed production. Semi-aquatic grasshopper Cornops aquaticum is also found effective control on water hyacinth.

However, it is attacked by many insect pests that causes high economic loss. Vertcillium wilt (VW) and Fusarium wilt (FW),a soil borne fungus caused by Verticillium dahlia kleb and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. vasinfectum, is one of the most destructive diseases in cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) production deleteriously affecting the yield and quality in ,India and worldwide. The wilt is becoming serious problem for cotton growing farmer and key subject of research in cotton resistance genetics and pathology. This aim of this paper is to call for attention and concentrated action by describing potentially damage of the pest, morphology, symptoms, Epidemiology, behavior, entry pathways and control method. The key pest of cotton accounts for its production loss up to70% in the absence of compatible control measures. Its effective control strongly relies on integrated management strategies includes Bio control agents, Physical, cultural a virulent strains, resistant varieties are the best practices for pest management.

This serious situation may cause by various contaminants such as pesticides or chemical fertiliser \u0000for water pollution, smoke and emission from automotive for air pollution and solid waste for land pollution. The \u0000application of pesticides and chemical fertilisers in agriculture industry lead to heavy metal contamination in herbs \u0000products, thus reduces health quality. The government authority involves in monitoring and preventing the \u0000incidences uses suitable method in detecting the heavy metal contaminant such as Atomic Absorption \u0000Spectrophotometry (AAS), Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), and Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA).
