The proposed waveguide, having nanosize cross-section, supports propagation of modes with unusual propagation properties. The propagation speed, attenuation and field localization of those modes will be present. The proportional reducing of the coaxial scale have been investigated. The results of this demagnification will be discussed. This wave is conventionally named “pressed wave” by us. We examine the evolution of wave field with distance from input grating coupler and compare that with analogous dependence for SEW. It is shown that unlike SEW the intensity of pressed wave decreases not exponentially while it propagates along the surface. Performance analysis is considered for the chip-level detector and optimum receiver.
