Optical wireless links are briefly introduced. Two of the most important effects influencing optical signal properties in the atmosphere are shortly described. The goal of the work is in analysis of optical intensity profile. Due to the changes in the intensity profile we are able to determine volume of turbulence as well as we can calculate attenuation by aerosols in atmosphere.","PeriodicalId":117420,"journal":{"name":"2010 10th International Conference on Laser and Fiber-Optical Networks Modeling","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129019282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
