The management of working capital and leverage in the business organization has been considered as very crucial part in financial management. Working capital considered as surplus of current assets over current liabilities and leverage considered as firm’s ability of employing long term fund having a fixed cost for the purpose of increasing the return of the real owner of the organization. The evaluation of relationship between the two variables and it is identified with the help of parametric test like correlation analysis and one-way ANOVA. The major findings of the study indicated that there is mixed relationship between working capital and leverage position because with the help of correlation analysis Reliance Petroleum, ONGC (Oil and Nature Gas Corporation Limited), IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Limited), BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited) indicated positive relationship between two variables. GAIL (Gas Authority of India Limited) indicated negative relationship between working capital and leverage during the study period.","PeriodicalId":116609,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Bisecoman","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132004249","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main objective of the study is to examine and evaluate the impact of leverage on profitability with reference to oil and gas companies in India. For that researcher has been selected top five companies like Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) based on market capitalisation. Secondary data have been used during the study period 2016-17 to 2020-21. For analyzing the leverage and profitability position the researcher have been taken financial leverage as independent variable and earning per share as dependent variable. For testing hypothesis some statistical tools and techniques like one way ANOVA, correlation and regression have been used by researcher. The major findings of ANOVA indicated that there in significant difference in financial leverage and earning per share of selected oil and gas companies during the study period. Correlation results showed that there is positive correlation between financial leverage with eps in reliance but in all other company’s financial leverage is negatively related with eps. Regression analysis found that there is no significant impact of financial leverage on eps in RIL, ONGC and IOCL but in BPCL and GAIL financial leverage has significant impact on EPS.","PeriodicalId":116609,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Bisecoman","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128781358","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the state of Rivers, there were a total of 139 managers working for four different telecommunications companies: MTN, 9Mobile, Airtel, and Globacom. The researchers used a straightforward random selection method to choose 103 participants for their investigation. The delivery of a structured questionnaire was used to obtain the primary data for this study. Using Spearman's Rank Order Correlation Coefficient and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0, we examined whether or not the provided hypotheses were supported by the data. According to the findings of the research, the two aspects of entrepreneurial orientation that were chosen (innovativeness and proactiveness) have a substantial connection to an organization's level of competitiveness (quality and market share). According to the findings of the study, the management of telecommunications companies should have an innovative plan to fund innovative ideas, experimentation, and creative processes; they should also introduce new products and services; and they should invest significantly in research and development. Additionally, the management of companies that deal in telecommunications have to take the initiative in the launch of new goods and services whenever possible. When it comes to the current state of the telecommunications industry, they should be recognized as a reputable brand. They should also react more quickly than their rivals do to educational and research opportunities.","PeriodicalId":116609,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Bisecoman","volume":"220 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130666383","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the study is a quantitative non-experimental that aimed to determine if there is a significant relationship between the management practices and productivity among the 50 respondents from the randomly selected 10 eateries in Cebu City, Philippines through linear correlation analysis. Data were gathered online using an adapted and reliable questionnaire. Findings revealed that the management practices of the eateries have a very high average weighted mean and SD (x̄=3.34 SD=0.72). Meanwhile, the level of impact of the eateries’ overall productivity garnered a very high average weighted mean (x̄=3.50 SD=0.57). Therefore, the levels of management practices and the productivity of the eateries during the COVID-19 pandemic have significant relationship with a moderate positive correlation of 0.58 (r = 0.5846, = 0.00001, p < 0.05). This implies the great need for businesses to establish appropriate management practices and for employees to systematically apply these practices for the betterment of both the productivity of the employees and the business as a whole. Additionally, with the problems of operations, regulations imposed by the government, and adjustments to competitors being faced, respondents suggested fostering open communication and utilizing online platforms, and promotions for the improvement of management practices and productivity.","PeriodicalId":116609,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Bisecoman","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133393562","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Souvenir shopping has long been integral to the tourism business and one’s travel experience. This quantitative non-experimental descriptive correlational study aimed to determine the relationship between souvenir purchase motivations and product attribute preferences among the randomly selected 50 Grade 12 Arts and Design students in the University of San Carlos South Campus for the school year 2021-2022. Two standardized and reliable Likert-type survey tools were used to collect data. Results revealed that students acquire souvenirs for a variety of reasons before making their decision. Students also valued the portability, aesthetic value, and authenticity of an item when looking for a souvenir. Researchers found out that there is a high positive correlation between souvenir purchase motivations and product attribute preferences and the relationship between the two variables is found to be significant, r (48) = 0.547, p < 0.05. This means that students who go on trips have distinct motivations and it affects their decision-making towards purchasing souvenir items. This study recommends that the variables be tested in more settings post-pandemic, as travel restrictions ease worldwide.","PeriodicalId":116609,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Bisecoman","volume":"72 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130329939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Social exchange theory was used to establish the theoretical framework of this study. The study adopted descriptive survey research design to establish the relationship between professional career development, teamwork and job satisfaction. Structured questionnaire was distributed to 428 respondents in six selected private universities in Nigeria. The reliability of the measuring instrument was tested using Cronbach Alpha. Hypothesis one was tested using correlation analysis and regression analysis were employed for testing of hypotheses two, three and four. The result of the analysis showed that there is a statistical influence between the three constructs professional career development, teamwork and job satisfaction of private university lecturers in Nigeria. The research concludes that professional career development and teamwork exert different levels of influence on private university lecturers’ job satisfaction and that teamwork exerts greater level of influence on lecturers’ job satisfaction. Hence it was suggested that management of private universities should promote the establishment of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research teams and centres in order to blend the experience of academics. Also, private universities should make annual plans to sponsor or subsidize conferences, seminars and workshop expenses of lecturers in order to encourage frequent participation in academic events so as to sustain the lecturer’s satisfaction and commitment on the job.","PeriodicalId":116609,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Bisecoman","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132485071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is famous speculation that the increasing import of foreign products would certainly affect the use and value of cultural goods of the particular state or nation, due to various influencing factors like consumer temperaments, choice and arousals. In this hypothetical situation, various governments across the globe have started imposing restrictions and authoritative conditions on Inbound Mergers thereby curtailing the scope of further business. When a closer study in respect of Indian trade and culture is carried out, it is quite interesting to note that there are no significant findings on the impact of cross-border inbound mergers on cultural sarees in India. This existing ambiguity appears even more substantial in the case of Southern States as this part of the country is often known for their cultural values and existing cultural sarees at the same time the Inbound Mergers in the said geographical jurisdiction is also increasing. Hence in order to address this ambiguity, this study is carried out so as to find out the Impact of cultural sarees on Inbound mergers in the Southern States of India as it is necessary to identify if there is an adverse impact on sales rate of cultural sarees. Further, this impact might be due to various factors, in order to bring in a regulation or change in law, it is essential to figure out if there is product interrelations.","PeriodicalId":116609,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Bisecoman","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116751344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
