AR and 3D virtual environments working directly inside the web browser were used to display virtual objects. Since augmented reality is not implemented within the modern curricula for teaching purposes, our proposed approach to virtual environments complements this missing component and helps educate students in a more interactive way. Within the paper, the process by which the individual virtual environments were created and how they have the ability to display 3D models with animations is described. Modern global satellite systems, which are based on constellations of interconnected satellites (e.g. Starlink), are currently being built. They provide multiple paths between sources and destinations and ground devices could communicate with more satellites at the same time. This capability can be efficiently utilized by Multipath TCP that is able to split application data session into multiple MPTCP flows so they can achieve higher data throughput and reliability. In order to meet these goals, efficient optimal path-finding algorithms are necessary. Software-defined networks deployed in such satellite systems can provide real-time and flexible centralized control of the entire network including optimal path discovery. In this paper, we proposed a software-defined satellite network architecture with efficient MPTCP traffic transmission and balancing. About three to five billion tonnes of ballast water have been transported by ships in a period of one year. The untreated ballast water may have a negative impact on the domicile marine species and marine environment. A significant element of risk reduction in spreading invasive species is Early Warning System for marine environment (EWS). Primarily, the Early Warning System has been developed in accordance with the requirement of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) International Convention on the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments (BWM Convention). The main task of the EWS is to warn vessels to prevent the loading of ballast water when critical biological conditions occur in ports and the surrounding aquatorium. They need to set up, configure, and maintain VPN solutions for such a purpose. To provide all of the required internal services adjusted to their needs, the underlying network needs to be reliable, secure, and efficient. However, a significant part of the customers that need such a solution is international corporate companies having their branch offices across continents and employing a mass of people. Such circumstances require a feasible and versatile infrastructure. The main goal of our work is to identify suitable use cases, design and implement network components capable of serving content in private networks effectively, and demonstrate the advantages of the proposed solution. In our work, we also introduced other solutions in our area. Large amounts of image data is available on the Internet, but it is not useful for machine learning applications in raw format. This concept goes through the process of image data acquisition from public sources on the Internet and automatic data labeling using existing computer vision deep learning models for object detection and instance segmentation. It sets up baseline labels that way and touches the problem of versioning labels from different sources for the same image and the same task. Eventually, it assigns machine learning semantic metadata to the given image. Furthermore, it goes beyond baseline automatic labels and proposes concept to refine them in both automatic and manual ways. It adopts a double-conversion superheterodyne structure combined with automatic gain control (AGC) technology to realize the wideband signals reception and dynamic range compression. An E-band mixer is designed based on Schottky diodes which features advantages in broadband and low cost, compared with commercially available chips. The AGC loop in the intermediate frequency circuit utilizes 3 voltage variable attenuators to provide a 78 dB continuously variable gain and uses a logarithmic detector to form an analog feedback loop, which exhibits a stable and high-flatness output power over 73 dB input dynamic range. The measured input dynamic range of the receiver front-end is −55dBm to +5 dBm with output power fluctuation better than ±1 dB, in the operating frequency range of 66.5~75.5 GHz. The power flatness of the output frequency response within the 500 MHz channel bandwidth is better than ±0.5 dB. It consists of a broadband 3 dB waveguide coupler, two symmetrical reflective circuits based on two pairs of Schottky diodes and the necessary DC bias circuits. The two reflective circuits are implemented at the through port and the coupling port of the waveguide coupler. The two reflected signals from the grounded Schottky diodes are combined at the isolation port of the coupler, which serves as the output signal of the linearizer. Magnitude and phase expansion are observed by varying the applied voltage to one of the diode pairs in the range of 0~5 V while the voltage applied to the other diode pair is fixed to be −3 V. Tested results reveal that this predistortion linearizer has a maximum phase expansion of 25 degrees and 6.5 dB magnitude expansion at 74 GHz. By adjusting the applied voltage to both of the two diode pairs to be in the range of 0.51~0.76 V, maximum 25 degrees phase compression and 2.5 dB magnitude expansion at 74 GHz have been achieved. Providing content over these networks gives the provider a set of benefits, such as easy scalability, faster data loading and protection against distributed denial of service attacks (DDoS). This paper focuses on analysis of content delivery network logs from an Nginx server along with a solution that visualizes important fields and provides an insight into user behavior. Our goal is to extract and comprehend user behavior in a way that does not take up large amounts of data as storing all data for longer periods of time is not possible. This paper proposes a new approach based on the application of the Fractional Fourier Transform (FRFT) in combination with machine learning and statistical features commonly adopted in the literature. The approach is evaluated against a data set created by the authors using laboratory equipment including a signal generator, channel emulator, and a spectrum analyzer. Signals with six different fading models including the baseline case of absence of fading are generated for the evaluation of the proposed approach. The impact of white gaussian noise is also evaluated. The results show that the application of statistical features in combination with FRFT significantly outperforms the application of statistical features in the time domain as commonly adopted in the literature. The impact of the rotation angle α in the definition of FRFT is also assessed in combination with a Sequential Forward Feature Selection (SFFS) algorithm to decrease the number of features in the application of the machine learning algorithm. This paper presents a novel solution and notation of a model for the content-adaptive estimation of the bitrate for a certain spatial resolution for encoding with the High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) encoder. Compared to available solutions, the idea was to simplify the process of determining the bitrate ladder that takes into account the video content. Contrary to other solutions, the proposed solution does not require precoding or high computational power, thus it minimizes latencies so it can be used for real-time applications. The proposed model requires only the values of spatial and temporal information to determine the optimal bitrate ladder for a certain video sequence. The proposed solution consists of a representation selection model and a bitrate ladder model. The representation selection model is used to select the optimal bitrates for switching to higher spatial resolution. Pearson Linear Correlation Coefficient (PLCC) between the values estimated by the model and the measured values calculated for all video sequences used in the development of the model is 0.963 and for the test sequence is 0.975, confirming the accuracy of the model. In addition, the bitrate ladder model was developed to determine the bitrates for the desired quality levels.
