Although it had several negative consequences, it also enabled advances in the integration of technology into the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to examine and characterize the key elements of the process of returning to face-to-face courses. The study was based on a mixed quantitative and qualitative design. 631 students from Chile, Venezuela, and Colombia were surveyed about their experiences returning to face-to-face classes (in terms of virtual tools, their feelings, and their expectations for academic success). The survey also included questions about the lockdown caused by the pandemic, specifically regarding instructional and didactic design, participation in online sessions, and the role of faculty during the pandemic. Descriptive and correlative analyses were performed to examine relationships among variables. Qualitative data were analyzed within a hermeneutically-oriented framework. Our analyses show that virtual classrooms or learning management systems (LMS) continued to be used after the pandemic. However, their use is strongly associated with a more traditional approach to teaching; LMSs and virtual classrooms are primarily used as filing locations and for receiving and storing homework assignments and assessments. In terms of interaction, qualitative analyses have shown that relationships with faculty and between students are better in face-to-face classes and that there is not much difference in perceptions of collaborative work in online learning compared to face-to-face classes. Finally, students' expectations of academic success are low in the short term, while they are higher in the long term. Students also indicated that it is important to them that teachers take care about the didactic design of the course, including strategies that encourage interaction and participation in both synchronous and asynchronous sessions. In addition, students mentioned that teachers should incorporate strategies to promote academic motivation, self-regulation, and a safe environment. An important finding of this study is that students prefer a blended learning format when comparing online and face-to-face instruction. This article also provides recommendations for the new post-pandemic education scenario. A quantitative approach was adopted, and data was gathered from a web-based survey of 237 media students. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was utilized to gauge participants' perceptions of AR, and descriptive statistics were used for analysis. The findings reveal a generally positive perception of AR as a beneficial tool for skill enhancement, with mean scores ranging from 3.70 to 4.04 indicating strong agreement. The study also found moderate to high AR usage among participants, particularly for translating texts using Google Translate, but noted that usage patterns were more individual-oriented. Additionally, 91.1% of respondents attributed the COVID-19 pandemic to increased technology usage in higher education. The novelty of this study lies in providing insights into the perception and application of AR in higher education within the Palestinian context, an under-researched area. The study sheds light on the potential for integrating AR more formally into curricula, which could foster a more engaging and immersive educational experience. However, it also highlights the need to address barriers such as lack of technical support and possible discomfort with technology. Losing this sense can result in numerous challenges in daily life. However, society is designed for the majority, which can create even more difficulties for visually impaired individuals. Therefore, empowering them and promoting self-reliance are crucial. To address this need, we propose a new Android application called “The Eye” that utilizes Machine Learning (ML)-based object detection techniques to recognize objects in real-time using a smartphone camera or a camera attached to a stick. The article proposed an improved YOLOv5l algorithm to improve object detection in visual applications. YOLOv5l has a larger model size and captures more complex features and details, leading to enhanced object detection accuracy compared to smaller variants like YOLOv5s and YOLOv5m. The primary enhancement in the improved YOLOv5l algorithm is integrating L1 and L2 regularization techniques. These techniques prevent overfitting and improve generalization by adding a regularization term to the loss function during training. Our approach combines image processing and text-to-speech conversion modules to produce reliable results. The Android text-to-speech module is then used to convert the object recognition results into an audio output. According to the experimental results, the improved YOLOv5l has higher detection accuracy than the original YOLOv5 and can detect small, multiple, and overlapped targets with higher accuracy. This study contributes to the advancement of technology to help visually impaired individuals become more self-sufficient and confident. Crude and digestible protein, fiber, fat, and mineral elements Ca, K, Na, and P were studied. Inclusion of sprouted grain into mixed fodder and subsequent extrusion contribute to improvements in taste qualities, increased edibility, and assimilation of mixed fodder, as well as nutritive value. Taking into account the obtained knowledge about the influence of temperature regime and content of germinated triticale grain in mixed fodder production, it is advisable to continue research to adapt the technology and develop formulations for different types of animals and farm birds. The purpose of the study was to optimize the process of extrusion of sprouted triticale grain in order to reduce energy consumption and obtain high-quality extrudates. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: to analyze the regime factors affecting the fat content based on the optimization of technological modes of extrusion. To optimize the technology of extrusion of triticale grain of the Kozha variety, the fat content was chosen as the target function. Optimization of the technology of extrusion of triticale grain of the Kozha variety was carried out by the method of nonlinear programming. The following optimal technological modes of grain extrusion were obtained: The content of sprouted triticale grain is 15%, and the extrusion temperature is 140°C. With these optimal grain processing modes, the target function was 1.12%. Supported by the literature, the conceptual model of the study hypothesized that economic viability, supportive infrastructure services, enablers, and competition impacts positively affect greenhouse development. Therefore, a questionnaire was administered among 200 individuals working in greenhouses across the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Bukhara regions. Quantitative empirical evidence using structural equation modeling revealed that enablers and competition impacts have a significant positive influence on greenhouse development. However, economic viability and supportive infrastructure services did not have a direct impact, although they indirectly contributed to the overall growth and functioning of the greenhouse industry. The study provides theoretical contributions by identifying key factors influencing greenhouse development and offers practical recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders to foster an enabling environment, manage competition effectively, enhance supportive infrastructure, promote international collaboration and investment, encourage research and development, and strengthen market linkages. However, there is a research gap in the present literature regarding the significance of consumers' participation in short-form video platforms affecting corporate brand equity. The present study aims to address this research gap by incorporating value co-creation theory to investigate the role and mechanism of value co-creation generated by consumer participation in short-form video platforms, i.e., corporate-initiated value co-creation and customer-initiated value co-creation, on corporate brand equity. The current study used a survey methodology to collect 481 samples from TikTok users using a convenience sampling method. The present study used structural equation modeling on the collected data. The findings show that corporate-initiated value co-creation can positively influence corporate brand equity, in which brand experience plays a partially mediating role. Customer-initiated value co-creation can also promote brand equity, whose role is also partially mediated by brand experience. This study theoretically contributes to the value co-creation concept and its theoretical association with brand equity and brand experience. This research also offers practical implications for practitioners regarding the utilization and enhancement of brand experience to improve clients' engagement in value co-creation activities. While correlation measures like Pearson, Spearman, and Kendall provide insight into the degree of two-variable relationships, they fall short of revealing the intricate structure of dependencies between these variables. The Clayton copula, known for its flexible attributes, becomes instrumental in unveiling this dependency structure. This paper aims to advance knowledge by providing an explicit formula for creating Wald confidence intervals (CIs) for the dependence parameter in a bivariate Clayton copula, along with a mathematical derivation of the observed Fisher information. In comparison, we also propose likelihood CIs, whose performance we examine in simulation studies using both coverage probability and average length of CIs as performance indicators. Our findings reveal that in scenarios characterized by small sample sizes, likelihood-based CIs, despite their slightly more complex computational requirements, outperform Wald CIs, yielding a coverage probability more proximate to the nominal confidence level of 0.95. However, in situations involving large samples and a dependence parameter distant from zero, both Wald and likelihood-based CIs demonstrate comparable utility. For real-world data applications, the daily closing prices of two cryptocurrencies are analyzed using the proposed CIs. The most effective way to steer clear of the virus is global vaccination. A novel concept of vaccine tourism arises from vaccine manufacturing corporations' limited stock and production capacity. The current paper aims to demystify the socio-legal and ethical underpinnings of vaccine tourism as well as analyze the restrictions on international travel imposed by major countries. The research critically examines key issues considering the literature's current arguments and integrates the current developments and challenges in the field of vaccine tourism. The paper addresses the fact that, in the current circumstances of travel restrictions, insufficiency of raw materials, ambiguous policies, vaccine passport authenticity, skewed distribution, and scarcity of vaccines around the world, the implementation of vaccine tourism is a big challenge. The study tries to understand the emerging concept of vaccine tourism and the major challenges to its growth. Vaccine tourism may be an instrument to revive the tourism sector post-COVID; therefore, understanding the current emerging issues around it would be significant for tourism literature. To achieve this purpose, we conducted a correlation analysis of the time-frequency dependence between the variables of the empirical model: the shares of program costs, the shares of non-repayable receipts, and the share of business taxes in the revenues of the consolidated budgets of constituent entities of the Russian Federation such as the Republic of Mordovia, the Udmurt Republic, Trans-Baikal Territory, and Kaliningrad Region for the period from 2001 to 2021. The research results indicate a significant impact exerted by the program costs of the regional budgets on the development of the real sector to ensure fiscal balance in the Republic of Mordovia, the Udmurt Republic, and the Trans-Baikal Territory on certain time scales. The novelty of this research lies in demonstrating the wavelet analysis effectiveness applied when conducting correlation analysis in cases where the relationships between the analyzed variables follow different patterns at different time horizons, and precisely wavelet analysis makes it possible to reveal the most significant characteristics of the relationship of variables. Earlier studies based on traditional methods ignored the time-frequency dependence between the variables of the empirical model. The practical significance of the research results lies in the fact that they determine the time scale on which the most effective measures and budgetary policy instruments applied within the framework of program-target mechanisms are provided to ensure fiscal balances in the regions.
