Thanks to especially designed building blocks a decoder of any size can be built in easy way. Layouts of all needed fundamental blocks were designed in UMC 180 CMOS technology, as standard cells. A few layouts of decoders were designed as one and multi-level structures and their parameters such as energy, time, and area were assessed. Power consumption were considered under extended model, which takes into account changes of input vectors, not only switching activity factor. The relationship between sizes of I and B frames located at a different levels in hierarchical coding scheme was experimentally determined, as well as contribution of HEVC syntax elements in encoded streams of I, B0, B1, B2, and B3 frames. The results are presented in the paper. In this work, we consider two cases of the required magnetic field both of which are needed in magnetic resonance imaging devices, namely the homogeneous magnetic field, and the gradient magnetic field. We show that if the high quality homogeneous magnetic field is generated then indeed one may neglect the radial component. On the other hand if the magnetic field is not homogeneous either due to design requirements or too restrictive constrains, then the radial component may severely deteriorate the quality of the magnetic field. We also propose an optimization method to reduce the radial component and study its performance for the gradient coil design problem. Three principal and few auxiliary contexts are defined. CoBALP stage is followed by two-step NLMS predictor, then cumulated predictor error is calculated on the basis of a new formula. In this arrangement the Spartan-3 XC3S200 programmable FPGA device was tested and the popular small educational microcomputer Raspberry Pi, was employed as a control unit for the whole system. Part of the system was implemented inside the tested structure. There was an array of ring oscillators as temperature sensors and a structure for controlling the array. Ring oscillators are often implemented in FPGA devices. They are used both as single elements or an array of sensors for measuring the chip's temperature or path delay of SUT. The sensors can be located in different areas of the chip. In the case of this tested device 36 sensors were used, but generally, their number depends on the designer. The ring oscillator's frequency depend on the temperature, and the frequency of the activated sensor was measured outside with an oscilloscope. The Raspberry Pi controlled the measurement process via an SPI and the results were collected from the oscilloscope via a UART/RS232 interface. 2D and 3D visualizations of the frequency to temperature relationship were made using Gnuplot and Scilab. For the purpose of a new technology the digital library containing 93 elements was designed. Created library allows automatic synthesis of digital blocks based on their description in hardware description languages (HDL). To preserve area occupied by each library element, height of 7.68 μm was chosen for all layout cells. Contrary to the usual sampling process where weavers want to sample at the Nyquist rate the Compressive Sensing provides a stricter sampling condition when the signal is known to be sparse or compressible. It turned out that the Nyquist-Shannon theorem is a sufficient condition but not a necessary condition for perfect reconstruction. The compressive sensing field of interest provides a stricter sampling condition when the signal is known to be sparse or compressible. This theorem still struggles with three main problems: sparse representation, measurement matrix and reconstruction algorithm. Unfortunately, thermal image camera resolution is considerably lower than of optical cameras, mostly only 160×120 or 320×240 pixels narrow view. The 360-degree infrared surveillance would be the clear choice. Day or night, the IR Revolution 360 panoramic infrared camera provides instantaneous, long range, wide area, high resolution thermal imaging. The method utilizes double sensor thermal imaging cameras. Moreover the temporal resolution has been enhanced. The design of PRNG has been optimized to achieve maximum output rate of pseudo-random sequences. The PRNG has been tested for 16-, 32-, 48-, and 64-bit precision of arithmetic by NIST 800-22 tests performed for each individual bit position. Then, the selected bit positions have been composed into the final output stream and verified by NIST test again. The PRNG has been implemented in programmable SoC device from Xilinx. Using the Zynq-7000 chip with 28-nm programmable logic and dual core ARM Cortex-A9 we get the maximum generation rate equal to 11.48 Gbps.
