Hydrogen peroxide and liquid nitrogen are bone recycling mediator agents destroying the malignant tumor cells while preserving healthy bones as much as possible. Healthcare providers on the front lines, involved in diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients with COVID-19, were particularly vulnerable to developing psychological distress and other mental health symptoms, including emotional disturbance. \u0000Objective: In response to this critical situation, this study aims to assess the psychological impact of COVID-19 and associated factors on healthcare providers at Chainama Hills College Hospital (CHCH) in Lusaka, Zambia. The findings of this study may inform interventions and support programs to mitigate the psychological impact of COVID-19 on healthcare providers and improve their overall well-being. \u0000Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study design was conducted in a hospital setting using a self-administered questionnaire survey between August 1st and 10th, 2021. A total of 194 healthcare providers were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The survey used the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS-21) to assess the psychological well-being of the participants. \u0000Results: Our study findings indicate that healthcare providers are experiencing a high level of stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a Stress score of 92.0, which is considered significant under the circumstances. Additionally, the healthcare providers exhibited mild levels of depression and anxiety, with DASS-21 scores of 13.0 and 12, respectively. These findings were at a 0.05 level of significance. \u0000Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the critical importance of prioritizing the well-being of healthcare providers. With the heightened demands and stressors associated with caring for patients during a pandemic, we must prioritize the mental and physical health needs of healthcare providers. Providing adequate support, resources, and attention to the well-being of healthcare providers can help to prevent burnout, reduce turnover, and improve patient outcomes. By recognizing the importance of caring for our healthcare providers, we can help to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services during such challenging times. \u0000

Although many approaches and options are available for their treatment, the most appropriate treatment option for school going children is still debatable. In this study 34 children with femoral fractures were recruited between Jan. 2018 and Jan 2019 at the Nangarhar university and public health Hospital. which is divided into two groups: (Group-A) immediate reduction with hip Spica consists 22 children and (Group -B) treatment consist of skin traction for 2-3 weeks precede with hip Spica casting consists 12 children and we studied gender distribution, fracture side, site and type of the fracture, also we note complications include; initial shortening, axial, sagittal and rotational alignment and hospital stay. All patients were under observation for a period of 3 months after removal of Spica cast. The study found that boys were more affected than girls, which the middle third of the femoral shaft was the most common site fracture (58.92%), that the spiral fracture was the most common type of femoral shaft fracture (43.18%), as well as that side way alignment was observed more than other kinds of complications in both treatment modalities; for immediate Spica, four children (18.18%) and three cases (25%).Conclusions: There was minimal difference between early and delayed Spica in terms of treatment complications and functional result. Relationships between blood pressure and physical parameters were established using regression analysis. Differences in blood pressure with respect to gender, gestational age, weight categorization, maturity for age, socio-economic status, and civil status were established using independent t-test and analysis of variance where appropriate. \u0000\u0000\u0000Result: 1476 blood pressure readings from 123 healthy newborns were analyzed. The presence or absence of the muscle tendon is relevant information to hand and plastic surgeons. The muscle tendon can be harvested for reconstructive surgeries, tendon transfer and tendon surgeries, facial paralysis, repair ptosis, arthritis of the thumb and to repair oncologic defects of the head and neck. Therefore, this study aimed at identifying the incidence of PL and its association with the study participant’s age, gender and geo-political region of origin. \u0000\u0000\u0000Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on students that were taught ‘muscles of the forearm’ during the 2021/2022 academic session of the Edo state university, Uzairue, Nigeria. Bio-demographic data was retrieved using a self-structured hard-copy questionnaire. Schaeffer’s, Thompson’s and Pushpakumar’s testing methods were used to assess the absence/presence of PL. Data was entered into Microsoft Office Excel 2019 and exported to IBM SPSS version 23 for analysis. Fisher’s and Pearson chi-square tests were used to determine association.
