The subject of the work is the systematic approach to the analysis of the organization of higher education as a subject of research, the identification of problems and challenges by presenting higher education as an economic, market, management, and operational subsystem. During the investigation it was established that the dominance of asynchronous educational technologies, identified and characterized the thin sides within each of the subsystems of higher education, among which the most vulnerable are: technological support of optical networks and wide-format access for Internet users, especially in rural areas; weak infrastructure in universities for video conferencing and other forms of remote work; low digital competencies of teachers (up to 60% of surveyed teachers), low quality of university management and adaptation to change; slow use of innovative offline learning technologies. The introduction of the systematic approach to improving the quality of education through the strategic definition of goals, mission, and priorities of university development is substantiated; introduction of pedagogical design; creating a comfortable environment for students to study and research; providing EdTech tools for training and assessment; regular monitoring of the content and making sure that the design of educational courses were grounded. Among the applied steps, it is recommended to intensify the implementation of a dual education system adopted by the author of innovative teaching methods, particularly “flipped learning” technology.","PeriodicalId":112466,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Management and Social Science","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123854012","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some notice that women are agents of change in the organization, and “female attributes and competencies” such as interpersonal skills, consensus ability, multitasking, empathy, teamwork are an essential supplement to the soft leadership model that appeared in the 1990s. Representation of women and the resulting symbolic status at higher organizational levels limit the development of their managerial careers in the longer term. Therefore, the main goal of this descriptive article was to define the factors determining the employment of expatriate women in international corporations.","PeriodicalId":112466,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Management and Social Science","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131409415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Design thinking is a creative process, which enables the student to improve innovative personalities and will also help to create contemporary educational tools. Based on the query of the literature review, the authors of the article noticed the presence of this issue in the works of theoreticians, and at the same time they stated noticeably lack of indications for the implementation of these findings and possibilities and their verification in practice (educating specialists and students). As traditional education and learning tools are not sufficient, therefore the importance of design thinking is increasing in high education sectors, despite the implementation of this topic at universities and business schools being very slow. This study compares the courses at Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University (d.school), as the leader in the field of design thinking, and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Using a case study approach, could assist the researchers in understanding the gaps and provide suggestions for improving the courses in a Polish university in comparison with the leader of design thinking.","PeriodicalId":112466,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Management and Social Science","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117267224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
