Her activity at school has been illustrated by examples of two outstanding works Like a Diary. Teachers’ Stories and When Angels  Rest. The writer’s detailed biography helps to show in detail a number of changes and innovations which, thanks to her numerous articles and books, have influenced many people. Importantly, it has revived the practice of family reading, strongly involved parents in the education of their children, and has disseminated knowledge about the world among readers large and small. The need to start this type of education from an early age is recognized. In the world and in Poland, many joint actions are being created to familiarize children with the issues related to urban planning, elements of spatial development and the needs of city users. One such program is the Poznań Academy of Space project, implemented since 2016 by the Academic Scientific Association of Spatial Management. The aim of the paper is to present the above project as an example of student activities to increase spatial awareness among the youngest city users. However, the role that bilingualism plays in adulthood and late adulthood is underestimated in the literature. At this stage of life, some people may develop the first symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases, mainly associated with memory and communication disorders. The article briefly introduces the most common causes of dementia symptoms and then discusses bilingualism in several, closely related aspects. The publication contains information on the impact of bilingualism on delaying the symptoms of dementia and triggers of this phenomenon. In the conditions of technological progress, it seems that the virtual model is particularly interesting in remote education. It was applied in March-June 2020 at the level of early childhood education at the Cogito Public Primary School in Poznań. The main part of the text was preceded by an analysis of the literature on the subject of the meaning of humor in human life, including coping with it in difficult situations. When proceeding to the implementation of the presented article, the slogan “# stay at home” was followed. Therefore, to achieve this goal, online resources were used. The literature on the subject was searched using the popular scientific search engine Google Scholar, while humorous content related to the coronavirus was obtained through social and information portals. The challenge and a number of changes that the transition to remote education has triggered may have resulted in additional stressful experiences for the teaching profession. This article is a theoretical and research paper and its purpose is to draw a picture of these experiences, to identify the stressors in the remote teaching situation and to examine the general level of stress currently experienced by teachers. The study involved 66 teachers working at different levels of education. A diagnostic survey (online questionnaire) and Plopa and Makarowski’s PSQ (Perceived Stress Questionnaire) examining emotional tension, external stress, intrapsychic stress and general level of perceived stress were used as the research method. The study outcomes show that some teachers may experience emotional tension, an increased feeling of fatigue, irritability or an accompanying lack of energy. The study investigated couple relationships during the first lockdown (also called emergency state) in Poland (N = 235) and Japan (N = 420). Based on a quantitative survey, it focuses on socio-economic issues and related concerns. The survey inquired opinions about changes in the depth of the relationships, attitude to the partner, and frequency of arguments during the lockdown. From among Polish and Japanese respondents, more than 60% declared that their current partner is the best one for the isolation. Both Japanese and Polish males seem to be more satisfied with their spouses than the female partners. The results indicate that there is a need to make more detailed cross-country comparisons in terms of the functioning of relationships during lockdown and isolation. The observations made imply that there are areas to investigate more in-depth. A follow-up survey is needed to understand whether the issues in intimate relationships will be long-term ones or whether we see them only during the pandemic. The questionnaire domains: changes in the depth of relationships, attitude to the partner and frequencyof arguments during the lockdown. It started its activity in March 1869 and continued it in the following decades. It combined the task of providing material aid to the Poles living there with activities aimed at counteracting their denationalization. The analysis of source materials made it possible to identify those forms of activity which were defined as moral assistance. It played an important role as the first such association, uniting many people in their concern to preserve their national identity and fight against enslavement.
