It deals with the presence of animals in Clarice Lispector’s short stories and proposes an interpretation of “Perdoando Deus”, taking as its starting point the fact that the short story is structured in three moments, in which the narration of the story follows the protagonist's subjective journey. The qualitative analysis undertaken follows Magalhães (2013) concept of “grammar of habitation”, using direct observation based on three years of fieldwork and documentary analysis.
