The model Hamiltonian contains four free parameters: the coupling constants for hole with acoustic and optical phonons, the site off-diagonal coupling, and the mass ratio of cation to anion. The overall and systematic features of the hole stability are investigated by means of phase diagrams in the space spanned by the parameters. It is found that the stability drastically depends on the crystal structure. By fitting the parameters, results are obtained which agree with the experiments. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Nous avons etudie la stabilite des trous auto-pieges dans les cristaux ioniques aux structures NaCl et CsCl conformement a la theorie du petit polaron. L'hamiltonien modele contient quatre parametres libres; les constantes de couplage du trou avec les phonons acoustiques et optiques, le couplage site-non diagonal, le rapport des masses du cation et de l'anion. Les traits globaux et systematiques de la stabilite des trous sont recherches au moyen du diagramme de phase dans l'espace des parametres. On a trouve que la stabilite depend rigoureusement de la structure cristalline. The conduction bands (excess electron energy spectrum) are calculated from first principles using the OPW method. The Phillips-Kleinman potential is constructed using atom-like Wannier functions. At normal pressure the band structure is very similar to that calculated by other methods which involve the expansion of the basis in plane waves and agrees well with available experimental data. Also the influence of quadratic terms in the energy versus magnetic induction relation of the Landau levels can be studied. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Zur Beschreibung von Schwebungseffekten und der Winkelabhangigkeit von Shubnikov-De Haas-Oszillationen (SDH) des Zero-Gap-Halbleiters HgSe wird eine Methode entwickelt, die es gestattet, auf Messungen des transversalen SDH-Effektes ein Parameterschatzverfahren anzu-wenden.
