Approaches to the conceptualization of the cultural capital of representatives of various humanitarian theories are analyzed. It is concluded that it is necessary to consider cultural capital not only to characterize an individual, social strata, but also for different types of communities that can be presented in the form of a particular hierarchy, including regions, states, and entire civilizations. The social function of agents with a high level of cultural capital is described. It consists in transmitting public opinion, influencing the formation of collective representations of other people (communities) by public interpretation of the content and meaning of phenomena and processes in the outside world (state of affairs). The author proposes to build a theoretical model of cultural capital and a methodology for its empirical measurement, to identify the factors of its reproduction, to design solutions for the technological support of the process of effective reproduction of cultural capital on the example of Russian regions. Based on the definition of \"practices of subjectivation\" M. Foucault as folding subjectivity, subject, philosophical and anthropological analysis of this concept in connection with the personal self-determination of man, with the development of negative identities and personal strategies. This adversely formed on the functioning and formation of cultural values. The problem of values is most acutely manifested in the critical times when social foundations are collapsing, cultural traditions are devalued. In our society there is a change of values, different value systems function. This leads to value conflicts, to misunderstanding between representatives of different generations and different social groups. New and old values, coming into conflict, lead to a personal crisis, to the maladaptation of the personality. The personality loses its integrity, loyalty to the principles and readiness for strong-willed efforts in the name of these principles, the motivational sphere of the personality loses the reference points for choice. In the history of mankind there has been a change of value systems. In Russian philosophy there were many philosophers who turned to axiological problems in the transition era. One of them was S.L. Frank. Turning to his legacy, we will try to highlight some common features of the flow and overcoming of the value crisis. in European culture? Education, science development, respect for citizens' rights, diligence and industrial wealth, comfort, organization of life, sense of dignity. What did the Russians try not to notice? It touches upon the origin of the concept of «hero» and its cultural transformations, which take place from the ancient period to the beginning of the 20th century. The problem of the content of human consciousness filled with myths and experiences of previous generations is brought to the fore. Over time, the heroic image undergoes cultural transformations, which proves the existence of a chain of notions concepts «hero» – «universal man» – «world-historical personality» – «archetype», presented in the traditions of European scientific thought. A statement is being made that the archetype of the hero is one of the most important means of comprehending reality and encoding information about it for the further transmission of the views of a community about the structure of the world and methods of communication. Specific factors of the influence of the Orthodox Church on sociopolitical and cultural processes are determined, such as the construction of churches and the development of parish life, the establishment of religious schools, the formation of church intelligentsia and the implementation of its educational and social projects. The results of the realization of the social functions of Orthodoxy, which in the conditions of the modernization of Russian society actively influence society in several interrelated directions and promote integration into the all-Russian sociopolitical, religious and sociocultural processes, are revealed. Speaking of Russian identity, we understand by it the identification of a person with a people; human involvement in the social and cultural life of the country, a sense of belonging to the past, present and future of the Russian people.
