In the former stage, each minutia in the fingerprint is represented by a local feature vector which is built from the features of the neighboring minutiae within a fixed-radius circle around it. The features of each neighboring minutia are defined according to the spatial relationship with the central minutia and used for matching task. New calculation methods of the adaptive matching conditions for two neighboring minutiae and the local similarity score between two central minutiae are introduced. The latter stage performs multiple alignments based on the pairs of matching minutiae to produce the final matching score between two fingerprints. Extensive experiments over a public database used in Fingerprint Verification Competition 2002 (FVC2002) prove a considerable improvement in accuracy of our proposed algorithm against some well-known techniques and Top 5 participants of FVC2002.","PeriodicalId":109602,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information and Communications (ICIC)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125339052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of topology defines by a single line diagram (SLD) of power distribution systems (PDS). The PDS design approach is using a coherent zone protection mechanism. This mechanism is tried to get rid of single points of failure by applying redundant topology such as N (by N • 1), N+1, 2N, and 2(N+1) through PDSs. This paper describes the zone protection approach of system reliability design for Tier 4 data centers. This paper was conducted design analysis of power distribution systems (PDS) from 8 (Tier 3) data centers and 2 (Tier 4) data centers while compared 5 data center standards subject to how to build the highest reliability of data center through zone protection as a recheck point. The results of paper analysis propose zonal survivability stages by applying a concept of mission critical load shedding (MCLS).","PeriodicalId":109602,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information and Communications (ICIC)","volume":"188 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125437988","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the case of workers who commute to Seoul from Gyeonggi or Incheon, the time required to commute is about 66 minutes, which is about 1.4∼1.5 times higher than the 44∼46 minutes consumed by workers who commute within Seoul. The average speed of traffic in Seoul jurisdictional area was confirmed to be 31.0km/h. Those who live and work in the Seoul area took 45.2 minutes for going to work on Monday, and those who live in Gyeonggi or Incheon and work in Seoul took 69.2 minutes for going to work on Monday, which was the longest among all weekdays. In the analysis of weekday traffic speed in Seoul by time zones, it was the fastest at 35.1km/h at nighttime, followed by lunch time (32.1km/h), morning rush hour (29.3km/h), and quitting rush hour (28.6km/h). As a result of examining the change of traffic speed according to daytime time flow on weekdays, the peak of traffic congestion on morning rush hour was recorded at 29.4km/h at 08:30 and peak on quitting rush hour was 29.5km/h at 18:10. From 19:10 onwards, we can see that traffic congestion of quitting rush hour begins to ease. Likewise this study, the LTE signal-based movement and stay analysis can be used to construct lifelogs such as traffic, culture, and life patterns.","PeriodicalId":109602,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information and Communications (ICIC)","volume":"59 14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127395691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The energy generated in PVS located at customer n's home can be immediately used for customer n at that time or be stored in the shared ESS. Customers all belongs to the same entity or different entities with common interest and seek a common goal. We find an optimal capacity of shared ESS and individual photovoltaic generation system minimizing the total energy cost. For a predetermined daily pattern of generation and load, we formulate an liner programming problem to decide an optimal capacity of the shared ESS minimizing the total energy cost. The total energy cost is the sum of expenses to buy electricity and to install the shared ESS. Numerical examples show that as compared with the case of individually installed ESS for each customer, the shared ESS can decrease the electricity demand to the main grid and the total energy cost is slightly reduced while meet the demand of electricity by appliances.","PeriodicalId":109602,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information and Communications (ICIC)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134262362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The methods for transforming an MDS matrix into other ones to create dynamic MDS matrix for use have been proposed by many authors in the literature. In this paper, dynamic MDS matrices generated from direct exponent and scalar multiplication transformations are studied in the term of calculating effectively the outputs of the dynamic MDS matrices based on original MDS matrices when the inputs are known, as well as the calculating effectively the inputs of the dynamic MDS matrices based on original MDS matrices when the outputs are known. The process of encryption and decryption by dynamic MDS matrices is proven to be calculated more quickly by salvaging the original MDS matrices. In addition, a way for calculating quickly the direct exponent of MDS matrices based on a lookup table is presented.","PeriodicalId":109602,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information and Communications (ICIC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128749798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The experimental results evaluating the performance of HEVC Decoders with/without SIMD are presented. In summary, the decoding rate with SIMD is 4∼5 times higher than decoding rate without SIMD. The results are up to 28 frames/s on multi-core ARM64 architecture with full HD video. The experiments also show the decoding performance comparison between the well-known open-source HEVC decodes such as Libde265 and openHEVCDecoder. In general, Libde265 achieved better decoding speedup than openHEVCDecoder in case of tile-based parallel processing. But it was less efficient in case of single threaded decoding because of the thread allocation on asymmetric multi-core processors. All experiments are conducted on Samsung Galaxy S6 with arm 64-bit architecture.","PeriodicalId":109602,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Information and Communications (ICIC)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131804376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
