Clustering process helps the WSNs to improve its lifetime by forming a group with nearby sensor nodes. A primary node called cluster head is elected from the group for managing the data transmission from the other clustering groups to the basic sensor nodes. Also, the cluster heads are placed to transfer the signal collected from its sensor nodes to the base stations. Identifying an optimum node for making it as a cluster head is a challengeable process for many WSN applications. The proposed work is employed with a neural network algorithm for electing a cluster head by analyzing the residual energy, base station distance and neighbor sensor counts. The experimental work carried out in the paper indicates a betterment on survival node time and energy consumption.","PeriodicalId":10940,"journal":{"name":"Day 2 Tue, March 22, 2022","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79200403","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Machine learning is the most practical approach in the current era of artificial intelligence for training a neural network to handle the majority of real-world issues. In this paper, the real-world scenario of sentiment analysis is considered, ideally the classification problem. Firstly, the data is provided into a model, which evaluates the feature that uses the Term Frequency (TF) and Inverse Document Frequency (IDF) pre-processing methods. Secondly, the algorithms, Naive Bayes classifier and Support Vector Machine are used to analyze the sentiment of the consumer comments and compute metrics like F1 score. The Bidirectional DC-DC Converter (BDC) plays a significant role in controlling the energy flow for the Battery Ultra-capacitor Energy Storage System (BUESS) which is used for storing energy in EV or HEV. The bidirectional DC-DC converter (BDC) plays a vital role in controlling the energy flow for BUESS. The bidirectional DC-DC converter performs the step-up and step-down operation at zero voltage switching, as it operates in buck and boost modes. Due to the uncertain nature of renewable energy resources they pose to be not suitable for standalone applications as the only source of power. This problem can be overcome with the aid of batteries and supercapacitors for storing energy. Fast charging is done by a supercapacitor and slow discharging by a battery. A hysteresis control loop achieves the design of charging and discharging status. A BDC in addition to an inverter can be opted and is implemented in MATLAB/Simulink, and is used in AC power applications.","PeriodicalId":10940,"journal":{"name":"Day 2 Tue, March 22, 2022","volume":"34 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90830531","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A utility engineering microgrid structure is designed to provide fast response and efficient operation by analyzing hybrid power systems and fuzzy-PI-based control techniques. This project aims to design a solar photovoltaic (PV)-battery-diesel generator-based hybrid power system employing a Sepic converter. The Perturb and Observe algorithm is used for maximum power extraction from solar panel. A lithium-ion battery is utilized as a storage battery in this system, which may be charged by the PV source. When the storage battery is depleted and PV generation is unavailable, the charging station uses the grid and a diesel generator. The generated voltage is synchronised at the Point of Common Coupling (PCC) to achieve continuous charging. The simulation is done in MATLAB/Simulink.
