So a supplier selection model which could evaluate the performance of suppliers was proposed based on rough sets and BP neural network from the perspective of knowledge discovery and data mining at first. Then, the calculation and analysis process of the model was given and discussed. The performance decision making table and discernable matrix were designed, and the BP neural network and BP algorithm were put forward. Finally, the model was applied into a practical example of manufacturing supplier performance evaluation. After the balanced scorecard index system was reduced and the reduction indexes were input to neural network for intelligent training, the evaluated sample was input to the trained network, the supplier performance evaluation value was gained. The evaluation result is consistent with the actual result. Thus, by use of this method, we can select the best supplier whose performance is the best.","PeriodicalId":109229,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technology","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130537964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Z notation is an ideal one to be used defining state space of a system and then operations over it. Consequently, it requires an integration of automata and Z increasing its modeling power. Further, finite automata may have different implementations therefore if we give a mathematical analysis and describe formal specification of it before implementing then correctness of a model can be argued. Formal methods are rigorous mathematical techniques which can be used for specification of software systems. To achieve an objective of integration of approaches, we have combined automata and Z. Formalism of this relationship is analyzed and validated using Z/EVES tool.","PeriodicalId":109229,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129749221","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the fastest programmable DSP processors are unable to meet the speed requirements for SDR, system on chips (SOCs) are also not suitable because of their limited flexibility. Recently, FPGAs have emerged as high performance programmable hardware to execute highly parallel, computationally intensive signal processing functions. Since , the major building blocks for SDR are the signal processing functions, FPGAs are becoming possible hardware platform for SDR. However, FPGAs are not optimized for radio applications and because of their LUT based approach, they can not offer the highest possible performance at the lowest silicon cost for a given signal processing function. This paper addresses these issues by introducing a new \"reconfigurable radio processor\" for implementing SDR. The architecture was validated on Xilinx Virtex IV FPGA.","PeriodicalId":109229,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technology","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114233398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One critical foundation for coordinated action in multi-systems is the ability to exchange representational objects that can be locally interpreted in ways that make sense. Coherent local interpretation of shared representations is needed to create global semantic coherence for the distributed systems. Ontology technology is a useful approach to information integration. But when the categories of the relative concepts of ontologies are different, the semantic interoperation will encounter new obstacles. Except that the schema carries information, the data also carry abundant information, which assists to further interoperate. In the paper, a semantic interoperation framework is proposed which adopts instance assisted ontology technology. The implementation of the framework in distributed Xu Beihong's Galleries is discussed in detail. The emphasis is the process of ontology integration and the approach to further semantic interoperation using instances. In the end, the more interrelated problems are further discussed.","PeriodicalId":109229,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technology","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126125134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Requirements of product line are organized into features in FOA (Feature-Oriented Analysis) approach. Commonalities and variabilities among products in a product line are showed in the features. The effectiveness of a SPL approach depends on how well feature variability is implemented and managed. Because there is crosscutting among the features, it is difficult to implement these features into architectural components. In recent years some papers introduce aspect-oriented techniques into SPL to modularize the variable features. In this paper we describe the role of aspects in software product lines from 3 phases, showing their ability for encapsulating variable features into architectural components, and demonstrating how software product lines benefit from adopting aspect-oriented software development concepts.","PeriodicalId":109229,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technology","volume":"12 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131450973","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, some non-functional concerns (e.g. safety and quality etc.) provided by connector have crosscutting attributes, and which often cause connector hard to reuse. Therefore this paper presents an aspect-oriented approach to improve reusability of connector at architectural level. By introducing aspect to connector, we extend the basic elements of connector by two means: 1) taken non-functional concern as a new entity, and 2) encapsulated with advice. Then we set up the model of aspect connector, and describe it in ADL extension. Furthermore, we also give the reusable process of connector. Finally, with a case, we prove that our proposal can provide an effective solution to enhance the reusability of connector.","PeriodicalId":109229,"journal":{"name":"2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133177321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
