Tremella mushroom is also famous as snow mushroom, silder ear mushroom, snow fungus or white jelly mushroom. This review is focused on pharmacological and pharmaceutical uses of Tremella in modern and traditional sciences. Tremella fuciformis is a species of fungus; it produces white, frond-like, gelatinous basidiocarps. The most important tremella mushroom benefits are anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, lower cholesterol, combat obesity, protect nerves and may fight cancer. The most powerful nutritional constituents of Tremella are amino acids, vitamins, minerals, polysaccharides, 1,3-alpha-glucan, Glucuronic acid, Glucurmic acid, Glucuronoxylomannan, N-acetylglucosamine, Flavonoids, Polyphenols, Alkaloids and Organic acids. Functional foods are making inroads into Chinese diets with their promises to improve health and nutrition. Chinese consumers should choose nutritional and healthy food to maintain general health and reduce the risk of health problems. Nutrition therapy on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine such tremella is quite effective at treating common diseases.","PeriodicalId":108838,"journal":{"name":"Amazonian Journal of Plant Research","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132330807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most commonly used control is the chemical, but the indiscriminate use of these products causes risks of environmental contamination and of rural workers. In the search for alternative methods of control, essential oils appear, which are natural plant products with antifungal, antibacterial and insecticidal properties, and present less risk to the environment. The objective of this work was to evaluate the in vitro antifungal activity of essential oils on the inhibition of mycelial growth of phytopathogenic fungi. The essential oils of bush avocado (Persea major), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.), garlic (Allium sativum L.), cinnamom-fire (Cryptocarya aschersoniana Mez.), sassafras cinnamom (Ocotea odorifera Vell.), lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus), capitiu (Siparuna guianensis Aubl.), India clove (Syzygium aromaticum), guamirim (Myrcia splendens) guava brava (Myrcia tomentosa Aubl.), jatoba (Hymenaea courbaril L.), black peper (Piper nigrum L.), thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.) and annatto (Bixa orellana L.) against fungi Fusarium solani, Pestalotiopsis guepinii, Phytophthora spp., Rhizoctonia solani and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. The mycelial growth of these fungi was evaluated by means of the Petri dish mycelial growth inhibition index containing the potato, dextrose, agar environment in the concentration of 1,000 μl/mL of the essential oils. The design was completely randomized with three replications. Among the essential oils used, the thyme and India clove promoted complete inhibition of all fungi tested. Garlic essential oil and lemon grass completely inhibited the mycelial growth of three of the five fungi tested. These results demonstrate the importance of the oils for the alternative control of phytopathogens. The range of the green operations is large; yet, the topping of shoots and the special treatment of the side-shoots remain two of the most important interventions whose impact on the product indicators is undeniable. These operations aim to balance the vegetative growth and the bunch productivity, by redirecting part of the organic substance of the shoots to the bunch growth. It has been observed that these interventions influenced the pollination potential, which resulted in an increase of the grape grains in the bunch. There is a relation between the time and the frequency of the light topping of the shoots whose impact on the vine activity is great. Various intensive toppings of the shoots bring different results in different ecological contexts and cultivars. Heavy late toppings, especially in cold regions Korçë, have negative impact, since the action extends the vegetation period and prevents proper maturity of the shoots. These interventions become more delicate when it comes to cultivars with middle or long-term ripening period, like the Black Serin cultivar (vitis vinifera). The current study aims to instruct vinedressers about the proper time and frequency of the topping of this cultivar, in order to create a possible vegetation and production equilibrium, as well as qualitative ripeness of the grape.","PeriodicalId":108838,"journal":{"name":"Amazonian Journal of Plant Research","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125832995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A field study for two consecutive years was carried out on sandy clay loam soil to ascertain the productivity of Zeamays L. (maize) hybrid with having three irrigation methods viz. irrigation to flat sowing, irrigation to all ridges and irrigation to alternate ridges and four nitrogen application timing viz. control, 1⁄2 N at sowing and 1⁄2 at I irrigation, 1⁄2 N at sowing and 1⁄2 at 45 days after sowing (DAS) and 1/3 N at sowing + 1/3 at It irrigation and 1/3 at 45 DAS. Results of both years revealed that irrigation to all ridges exhibited significantly highest grain yield and yield attributes along with more leaf area index (LAI), dry matter accumulation (TDM), crop growth rate (CGR) and nitrogen and water use efficiencies (WUE and NUE). Three equal splits of nitrogen application resulted in highest grain yield and yield parameters accompanied with maximum LAI, TDM, CGR, WUE and NUE. The results suggested that irrigation to all ridges and applying nitrogen in three equal splits to ridge sowing maize hybrid proved the superior option for maximizing productivity and resource utilization. In this sense, the objective of this work was to investigate the contributions of topography teaching through the manufacture of alternative topographic equipment in the learning of the mathematics of the students of the Education of Young and Adults of the Field of High School of two communities belonging to the municipality of Serra Talhada PE. For this, the methodology proposed by Paulo Freire's pedagogical conceptions and the constructivism of Piaget, Vygotsky and Ausubel were used. Before and after the work, we applied tests with objective questions of mathematics in order to identify the previous knowledge and to verify if there was a contribution in the performance of the students from the intervention. Records were made of oral reports of the students to know their opinion about the contributions of the project in learning mathematics and rural work. For the statistical analysis of the applied tests, the completely randomized design was used. After the analysis, it was deduced that in the community of Conceição do Meio there was an increase in knowledge of 54.37% and in the Grotões community of 41.25%, thus observing that the methodology used in the communities had a positive effect. Based on the students 'reports about the contributions of the work, it was realized that it helped in the understanding of mathematics, approaching reality through the manufacture and use of the equipment, thus rebuilding the students' point of view through the realization that Mathematics can actually be learned and useful in family farming. The crop is subject to damage caused by the fungi Lasiodiplodia theobromae and Neofusicoccum parvum, especially mango dieback disease, which limits the yield and longevity of the mango tree. In spite of the importance of these pathogens, studies regarding sources of resistance in mango are rare. The aim of this study was to evaluate 75 accessions of mango available in the germplasm bank regarding resistance to the fungi L. theobromae and N. parvum to support breeding programs for mango growing. Evaluations were carried out from Apr 2016 to Mar 2018. Conidia suspensions of 10 conidia mL of L. theobromae or N. parvum were applied with a manual sprayer on young branches. Accessions were considered resistant when disease symptoms were absent on more than 90% of the branches at three different periods of inoculation. Thirty-three accessions showed resistance to L. theobromae and 19 accessions showed resistance to N. parvum. Six accessions were most susceptible (<50%) to L. theobromae, whereas 25 accessions were most susceptible to N. parvum. The accessions ‘Apple DCG’, ‘Ataulfo’, ‘Da porta’, ‘Dashehari’, ‘Espada’, ‘Haden’, ‘Haden 2H’, ‘Heidi’, ‘Irwin’, ‘Keitt’, ‘Kent’, ‘Néldica’, ‘Recife’, and ‘Smith’ showed resistance to the two pathogens and can be used as sources of resistance to the two fungi in mango breeding studies, or these accessions can even be recommended for use as commercial cultivars. The presented report requires serious decisions from the world community to minimize the impact of climate change on human life and the economy in order to achieve the seventeen sustainable development goals adopted by the United Nations. In this regard, the effects of climate change in the northern and Arctic territories are of particular relevance. The observed effects of climate change in the North and the Arctic affect not only human health, but also all sectors of the economy that operate there. The ongoing climate change requires certain measures to taken to minimize the negative impact. Agriculture is the sector of the economy that is most sensitive to climate change. The work is devoted to assessing the impact of climate change on the productivity of the main agricultural crop of the northern region of Russia, using the Komi Republic as an example. An analysis of the relationship of pair correlation between potato productivity and the corresponding climatic indicators is carry out. The risks and potential opportunities for farming in the region analyzed. Measures are propose for adapting the impact of climate change on agriculture in the Komi Republic. Was revealed that over the past 30 years, at meteorological stations on the coast of the Arctic seas of Russia, the increase in average annual temperature during this period exceeded 1.0°C/10 years. In the Northern Polar Region, 2018 was very warm the second in a row since 1936: the average annual temperature anomaly was +2.5 ° C 3. (Doklad, 2019). The data presented prove how much research is need today in the field of the impact of climate change on sectors of the economy that are climate-dependent, and people's livelihoods, especially in the North. In the summary of the report V.M. Kattsova and B.N. Porfiryev, entitled «Assessment of the macroeconomic consequences of climate change in the territory of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and the future perspective» noted that the greatest warming should be expect in Siberia and the northern regions of Russia, as well as in the Arctic (Katcov and Porfir'ev, 2011).
