Despite the large number of Jews in the world, people are generally unable to know about Jewish customs and traditions. There are many reasons for this mystery. One of them is that this religion only accepts people of a certain race, due to which other people are generally ignorant of their religious thought, philosophy, and practice. The other reason for their mysteriousness is their different religious calendar system. Their names of months, counting of years, and festivals are neither entirely on the solar calendar nor entirely on the lunar calendar. The books of the People of the Book have been of great importance to the people of Islam because our book, the Holy Quran repeatedly refers to them. Christian literature is easy to obtain as it is available in every language. In contrast, Jewish literature has been available only in Hebrew. And the translations in English are not available to the common man. But for the past two or three years, English translations of Jewish religious books have become available online. The Jewish religious literature is indeed divided into two main parts: the Tanakh and the Talmud. The Tanakh, also known as the Hebrew Bible, is further divided into three sections: the Torah, the Nevi'im (Prophets), and the Ketuvim (Writings). Each section contains various books and writings that are significant to the Jewish faith. The Torah, which is the first part of the Tanakh, consists of the five books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. It contains the foundational laws, commandments, and teachings that guide Jewish religious practice. The Nevi'im, or the Prophets, includes books that contain the messages, prophecies, and narratives of the Jewish prophets throughout history. It provides insights into the moral and spiritual guidance of the Jewish people. The Ketuvim, or the Writings, consists of various books, including Psalms, Proverbs, Job, and others. It contains poetry, wisdom literature, songs, and stories that offer spiritual and practical guidance to Jewish individuals and communities. The Talmud is a compilation of Jewish teachings and discussions that expand upon the laws and principles outlined in the Tanakh. The Talmud is divided into two main parts: the Mishnah and the Gemara. The Mishnah is a collection of oral traditions and teachings of Jewish law, while the Gemara provides commentaries and discussions on the Mishnah. Together, the Tanakh and the Talmud form the foundation of Jewish religious literature, providing guidance, teachings, and insights into the faith and its practices. They are essential sources for understanding Jewish theology, ethics, and legal principles.","PeriodicalId":108079,"journal":{"name":"Habibia Islamicus","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139333182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, in the contemporary context, it is judicious to engage in a critical examination of whether we are genuinely upholding the family's sanctity and the integrity of this union. Throughout history, marriage has functioned as a legal and social covenant, providing the foundation for procreation, inheritance, and familial alliances. It has often been revered as a sacred connection, a fusion of hearts and minds, and a solemn commitment. In recent years, the landscape of our society has witnessed profound changes. Factors such as individualism, materialism, shifting gender roles, and economic self-sufficiency have prompted inquiries into the relevance and viability of marriage and the family unit. The erosion of moral values, postponement of marriage, and a surge in divorces further underscore these challenges. In this article, we embark on an erudite exploration within the realm of marital unions to ascertain whether the existing legislative frameworks adequately address the complexities and challenges surrounding contemporary families and effectively accommodate the evolving dynamics.","PeriodicalId":108079,"journal":{"name":"Habibia Islamicus","volume":"47 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139331560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Just as worldly and hereafter benefits cannot be obtained without religious education, similarly, progress in economic, social, political, and industrial fields is not possible without modern education. In this modern and astonishing era of science and technology, alongside religious, ethical, and spiritual progress, there should also be an understanding of modern science and technology. There are many traditions where the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) resorted to the pre-Islamic poetry for the interpretation and explanation of the Quranic words. \"Tafseer Ghareeb ul Quran\" by Abdullah bin Abbas testifies to it. In this book Abdulla bin Abbas has used work of the pre-Islam poets as evidence for the interpretation and explanation of Quranic verses. Later periods saw an expansion and the use of poetic evidence was extended to all branches of Arabic Linguistics such as morphology, semantics, grammar and rhetoric.In our paper thesis we have done research on the poetic citations found in Ibn Jani's \"Sar Sanat al Arab\". It is considered to be the most authentic source of the use of poetic evidence after \"Alkitab\" by Imam Sehwiya. It contains more than 700 verses used as reference. We have made an effort to find out the method of Ibn Jani regarding the use of poetic evidence. We have also made an effort to to know as to which problems and issues of Arabic linguistics have been resolved by him with the help of poetic evidence. At the same time we have made an effort to know the source of these poetic references.This dissertation consists of a preface, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction we have introduced the book \"Sar Sanat al Arab\" by Ibn Jani. In the first chapter we have covered the sources of the poetic evidence used by Ibn Jani. The majority of Islamic jurists hold that those essential elements upon which a valid contract bases itself are threefold. The formation; Ijab and Qabūl (Sighah) subject matter of contract and lastly the parties to the contract that the essence of the validity of offer and acceptance is mutual consent. Besides, they are also agreed that there must be three conditions for valid constitution of offer and acceptance. First, both must be clear and definite, in terms of clarity, secondly conformity with the Muqtadā al-àqd, which means coherence or agreement between offer and acceptance and last and third is continuity that offer and acceptance must be connected. In other words, as a basic rule of Islamic law the contracting parties can make whatever stipulations they deem fit for regulating their contractual relationship. The law will intervene only in a few and exceptional cases to invalidate such stipulation. This means, it is validity rather than invalidity of stipulation which is the general rule in Islamic law.","PeriodicalId":108079,"journal":{"name":"Habibia Islamicus","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115158624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
