In regard to mobility management, handover management, and Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning, this paper proposes an adaptive environment based on IMS, between the heterogeneous access technologies, like WiMAX, WLAN, UMTS and LTE/LTE Advanced interfaces. Nevertheless, especially, the problem of handover decision, as resolving it influence, mainly on the handover performance; ANN(Artificial Neural Network) is proposed to solve the problem of decision and selection of best network access based IMS. The objective of proposed approach algorithms, is to maximize handover performance and reliability, with a new generic mobility management architecture, for system resource utilization by reducing handover latency and achieving load balance between different heterogeneous cells and networks.","PeriodicalId":106483,"journal":{"name":"2014 Third IEEE International Colloquium in Information Science and Technology (CIST)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128957804","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Enriching business process with semantics improves the representation of processes and permits the automation of different tasks such as modeling, configuration, evolution, and promotes more flexible and adaptive solutions according to business requirement changes. Nowadays, the key concept of reuse in Business Process Management is the Configurable Process Model (CPM) solution which is an important approach for reusing and customizing business process models with a set of process variants. However, existing approaches in CPM lack of semantic representation. In this paper, we propose an ontology-based approach for enriching Configurable Process Models with semantics, as a first step towards the enhancement of the CPM evolution process.","PeriodicalId":106483,"journal":{"name":"2014 Third IEEE International Colloquium in Information Science and Technology (CIST)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125750694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It distinguishes four levels: Computation Independent Model (CIM), Platform Independent Model (PIM), Platform Specific Model (PSM) and the code level. Transformations between PIMs and PSMs and code generation from the PIMs are well studied by various researchers. This research focuses on an important part of the transformation from the high level CIM to a PIM level. In this paper we derive the PIM Static Model, which is represented by the Domain Class Model, from a BPMN which is a key artifact of the CIM, using a set of transformation rules. Finally, we will apply our proposal to a case study, to further illustrate how to use these rules.","PeriodicalId":106483,"journal":{"name":"2014 Third IEEE International Colloquium in Information Science and Technology (CIST)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114235018","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in order to effectively capture the most important features, both the semantic and the statistical information within the feature space should be taken into account. Thereby, we propose a sequential and a hybrid clustering and feature selection approaches that combines statistical and semantic feature weight estimation in order to select the most informative features. We first perform a comparative study on powerful statistical feature selection methods and an analysis was done for the semantic methods. Then, we extract the best combination of statistical and semantic methods for the sequential and hybrid approaches. This latter is an enhanced version of our published system called AWSRC for Arabic Web Search Results Clustering. Using this proposed interactive system, the user can decide at a glance whether the contents of a cluster are of interest: He/She does not have to reformulate the query, but can merely click on the produced cluster label most accurately describing his or her specific information need in the topic hierarchy. Therefore, the user can navigate in the sense of generalization or specification based on these cluster labels. To illustrate the efficiency and to evaluate the performance of our proposition, several experiments have been conducted. The obtained results show that: on the one hand the quality of the cluster labels is very high and can help user to reformulate his/ her queries, and on the other hand the generated topics hierarchy allow the user the possibility to navigate the sense of generalization and/or specialization without need of query reformulation.","PeriodicalId":106483,"journal":{"name":"2014 Third IEEE International Colloquium in Information Science and Technology (CIST)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127276756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
