With growing demands for healthcare services, environmental concerns, and the pressing need for cost-effective solutions, hospitals must reconsider their supply chain strategies to ensure sustainability [1]. One critical aspect of achieving sustainable HSCM is fostering collaboration and information flow among stakeholders. Previously the author discussed about the Hospital Infrastructure Development (HID) which is one of the key elements that can contribute to sustainable HSCM [9]. The paper lists many technologies that might change the apparel industry's supply chain, including CAD, CAM, RFID, NFC, IoT, blockchain, and AI. The assessment focuses on the advantages of utilizing technology in the supply chain, including enhanced efficiency, lower costs, and more transparency. The difficulties in implementing new technology and the necessity of adequately integrating people, processes, and technology are also emphasized. The review highlights how crucial supplier collaboration is to the success of technology-driven supply chain management. The study suggests adopting technology-driven supply chain management may significantly boost supply chain performance. The study traces the origins and evolution of these theories, highlighting their unique foundations and the contexts in which they emerged. The review also discusses the fundamental principles and underlying assumptions of each theory, emphasizing their relevance to SCM and the implications for its practice. The review shows how these theories have helped us understand and improve SCM and how they can improve supply chain performance, promote sustainability, and drive innovation. It provides an overview of the challenges facing the supply chain, including food safety, traceability, and sustainability, and how blockchain and IoT can address these challenges based on secondary data. This paper presents a case study of a blockchain-based platform that utilizes IoT sensors to provide end- to-end visibility and traceability of food products. The findings demonstrate the potential for this technology to improve food safety, reduce waste, and increase transparency in the agri-food supply chain.
