We aimed to systematically review DUS conducted in Turkiye.

Methods: We examined 162 DUS with an accessible full-text, published as "research articles" and conducted in Turkiye between 2000 and 2021 using medical records and prescription data. We included English or Turkish papers with English abstracts. We examined the scientific characteristics of the publications, source of the data, place/time of collection, research designs, and studied drug groups.

Results: We found that 79.6% of articles were in English, 45.1% were listed in SCI/SCIE, and 63.0% were on the WOS platform with 3.5 (interquartile range: 1-15) citations. The mean study period and publication time were 2.9±3.1 and 2.9±2.1 years, respectively. The highest number of studies (17.9%) were published in 2021 and (26.5%) were conducted nationwide. We identified that 93.8% of the studies had retrospective design, 67.8% were conducted in secondary/tertiary health-care institutions, and 54.9% used direct hospital data. We detected that 68.5% of the studies were conducted on the general population, 19.1% on adults, 12.4% on children, and 44.4% were antibiotic oriented.

Conclusion: Our study showed that a significant portion of the DUS, the trend of which has gained momentum in recent years, was antibiotic focused and conducted with a retrospective design from hospital-based data collected on the general patient population. Different from the identical mixtures where the boson statistics only admits even parity states from angular momentum composition, for heteronuclear atoms in principle all angular momentum states are allowed, which can give rise to new magnetic phases. While various magnetic phases can be developed over these degenerate spaces, the concrete symmetry breaking phases depend on not only the degree of degeneracy but also the competitions from many-body interactions. We unveil these rich phases using the bosonic dynamical mean-field theory approach. These phases are characterized by various orders, including spontaneous magnetization order, spin magnitude order, singlet pairing order, and nematic order, which may coexist specially in the regime with odd parity. Finally we address the possible parameter regimes for observing these spin-ordered Mott phases.

Using the inversion symmetry, we decouple the low-energy electronic structure into block-diagonal symmetric and antisymmetric sectors. We find that the antisymmetric sector can be reduced to a one-band system near half filling, while the symmetric bands occupied by about two electrons are heavily overdoped individually. Using the strong coupling mean field theory, we obtain strong superconducting pairing with B\u0000 1g\u0000 symmetry in the antisymmetric sector. We propose that due to the spin-orbital exchange coupling between the two sectors, B\u0000 1g\u0000 pairing is induced in the symmetric bands, which in-turn boosts the pairing gap in the antisymmetric band and enhances the high-temperature superconductivity with a congruent d-wave symmetry in pressurized La3Ni2O7.

Destructive interference generates flat spectrum at the exceptional point, where the Creutz ladder maintains coalesced and degenerate eigenvalues with compact localized states distributed in single plaquette. All excitations are completely confined within the localization area, unaffected by gain and loss. Single-site excitations exhibit nonunitary dynamics with intensities increasing due to level coalescence, while multiple-site excitations may display oscillating or constant intensities at the exceptional point. These results provide insights into the fascinating dynamics of non-Hermitian localization, where level coalescence and degeneracy coexist at the exceptional point.

Computational approaches to computing and understanding the properties of semiconductors at finite temperatures are thus in critical demand. In this review, we discuss the recent progress in computationally assessing the electronic and phononic band structures of semiconductors at finite temperatures. As an emerging semiconductor with particularly strong temperature-induced renormalization of the electronic and phononic band structures, halide perovskites are used as a representative example to demonstrate how computational advances may help to understand the band structures at elevated temperatures. Finally, we briefly illustrate the remaining computational challenges and outlook promising research directions that may help to guide future research in this field.

However, the nature of critical states is difficult to describe quantitatively, and in general, it cannot predict a system that hosts the critical state. We propose an explicit criterion whereby the Lyapunov exponent of the critical state should be 0 simultaneously in dual spaces, namely the Lyapunov exponent remains invariant under the Fourier transform. With this criterion, we can exactly predict a one-dimensional quasiperiodic model which is not of self-duality, but hosts a large number of critical states. Then, we perform numerical verification of the theoretical prediction and display the self-similarity of the critical state. Due to computational complexity, calculations are not performed for higher dimensional models. However, since the description of extended and localized states by the Lyapunov exponent is universal and dimensionless, utilizing the Lyapunov exponent of dual spaces to describe critical states should also be universal. Finally, we conjecture that some kind of connection exists between the invariance of the Lyapunov exponent and conformal invariance, which can promote the research of critical phenomena.

We study the two-body hadronic weak decays of bottomed baryons and bottomed mesons to probe the light diquark structure and pin down the quark-quark correlations in the diquark picture. We find that the light diquark does not favor a compact structure. For instance, the isoscalar diquark $[ud]$ in $Lambda_{b}^{0}$ can be easily split and rearranged to form $Sigma_{c}^{(*)}bar{D}^{(*)}$ via the color-suppressed transition. This provides a hint that the hidden charm pentaquark states produced in $Lambda^0_b$ decays could be the $Sigma_{c}^{(*)}bar{D}^{(*)}$ hadronic molecular candidates. This quantitative study resolves the apparent conflicts between the production mechanism and molecular nature of these $P_c$ states observed in experiment.

By changing the relative phase between the fundamental frequency field and the second one, it is found that the harmonic intensity in the platform region can be significantly modulated. In the higher order, the harmonic intensity can be increased by about one order of magnitude. Through time-frequency analysis, it is demonstrated that the the emission trajectory of monolayer ZnO can be cotrolled by the relative phase, and the harmonic enhacment is caused by the second quantum trajectory with the higher emission probability. In addition, near-circularly polarized harmonics can be generated in the co-rotating two-color circularly polarized fields. With the change of the relative phase, the harmonics in the platform region can be altered from left-handed near-circularly polarization to right-handed one. Our results can obtain high-intensity harmonic radiation with an adjustable ellipticity, which provides an opportunity for the synthesis of circularly polarized attosecond pulses.
