We showed that the proposed method can be efficient for the task of phonetic recognition on TIMIT and then applied it to Kazakh speech recognition. Whereas a recent metric proposed by the author called FMI achieves such a goal, the algorithm is complex and has high memory requirements for its calculations. This paper shows how to modify the model of FMI, and proposes a faster algorithm to achieve similar results. The new algorithm achieves a significant complexity reduction in comparison to the previous model. Various experiments prove the efficiency of the algorithm in consistency with the subjective criteria. With the proliferation of multi core processors, parallel algorithms for sorting have become very important. In this study, we propose a new parallel merge sort algorithm in which two threads perform the merge operation simultaneously. We have implemented the new merge sort algorithm in Java. We compared the results of the new algorithm with the parallel merge sort implemented in Java library. The model parameters are estimated on the basis of the economic and psychological state of society in the specific area. The simulation framework for analysing social groups deals with the relation of drug abuse to dependence for individuals falling into certain groups. External factors of the region's development are considered as governing variables in the model. Some model results for StPetersburg (Russia) are shown. Monitoring of the drug situation is carried out using an automated information system based on Java2EE technologies and an inter-department database developed in Oracle 11g. There are 5 basic types of scheduling: Single Machine Scheduling; Parallel Machine Scheduling; Open Shop Scheduling; Flow Shop Scheduling; and Job Shop Scheduling. This paper is about the implementation of the algorithms for these basic scheduling and types and developing heuristic approaches to more complex scheduling problems. [2] A heuristic is an algorithm which tries but not guarantees to find the optimum solution but gives good results for NP-hard or NP-complete problems.
