High sorption efficiency was obtained: more than 99% for cesium, more than 90% for zirconium and niobium and about 70% for ruthenium. The coefficient characterizing the inflow velocity profile of gas on the bed determined by a thermoanemometric method, has been correlated with the model parameters of the gas flow within the packed bed.
