The stimulation sites were as follows: section A, the area between the lateral edge of the base of the patella (LEBP) and the distal one-third of the thigh (point D); section B, the area between point D and the proximal one-third of the thigh (point P). Isometric maximal muscle contraction forces induced by magnetic stimulation (Stim-MCF) were compared between the two sections.

Results: The Stim-MCF was significantly higher in section B than in section A. Additionally, the sites susceptible to stimulation were confined to a narrow area near point D in section A and the central part between points D and P in section B. The degree of pain was very low in both sections.

Conclusion: The optimal site for magnetic stimulation of the VL was limited to the central part of the thigh. In recent decades, many studies have investigated herbal or natural compounds for the prevention and treatment of OSCC. The present study was performed to investigate the effects of the extract of Portulaca oleracea seed, Berberis vulgaris, and Vaccinium myrtillus fruit on the OSCC. Experimental procedure: Firstly, the herbal samples were purchased from the medicinal plant market and each one of the samples was extracted. Afterward, SCC-15 cells were purchased from the Iranian Biological Resource Center. MTT test was used to evaluate cell proliferation and to measure the transcription rate of ki67, miR-4492, and miR-877-5p genes using Real-time PCR. Finally, the western blot test was used to measure the translation rate of b-cell lymphoma 2 and matrix metalloproteinase-2 genes. Quantitative variables of the present study were described as mean and standard deviation and the three-way ANOVA was used via SPSS ver. 25. an independent t-test was used. P-value< 0.05 was considered a statistically significant level. Results and Conclusion: Briefly, the findings of the present study showed that all three extracts had significant effects on growth suppression, apoptosis induction, and OSCC metastasis. Also, the triple (PVB) combination and Portulaca-Berberis (PB) combination were shown to be the most effective. This result indicates the anti-cancer synergistic effect of these extracts especially P and B, on suppressing OSCC, which should be confirmed in future animal and human studies.","PeriodicalId":101309,"journal":{"name":"Japanese journal of comprehensive rehabilitation science","volume":"34 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81058349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Those cashiers experienced occupational diseases as a result of working in a forced position, such as sitting for long periods of time. Moreover, a high prevalence of Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders has been reported among them. Objective: This literature review aims to describe previous studies and its findings among the supermarket cashiers to explore and discover the prevalence of MSDs among them and to understand other aspects related to the role of a supermarket cashier. Methods: Ovid MEDLINE, CINAHL, PsycINFO and Web of Science databases were searched to explore MSDs among supermarket cashiers. Results and conclusion: The prevalence of symptoms varies among different body regions such as the spine, upper limbs, and lower limbs. However, the spinal and upper limb regions are more susceptible to have such disorders. Moreover, some of these symptoms may develop or exaggerate due to psychosocial factors. The supermarket cashier job has several risk factors that may be related to ergonomic workstations, a person’s characteristics, and some related to the nature of work, which involves repetitive movements. Finally, future studies on supermarket cashiers should recruit more males than females, because previous studies focused on females only.","PeriodicalId":101309,"journal":{"name":"Japanese journal of comprehensive rehabilitation science","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74523469","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However the major issues facing healthcare systems around the world was not well explored. Therefore this study aims to identify facilitator and barriers to implement patient centered care practice in public hospitals in Benishangul Gumuze regional state, South West Ethiopia, 2019. Methods: Institution based Qualitative case study design was employed. Thirty two purposively selected participants from different category were interviewed. Ethical clearance sheet was obtained from Pawe health science college ethical review board. Seventeen face to face in depth interview, two focused group interview and systematic observation was conducted. Deductive analysis was employed manually to analyze text data. Results: The analysis result yields multiple driving and hindering factors of patient centered care practice. Information related factor, service expansion, feedback mechanism and health policy were identified as facilitators. In contrast patients’ health literacy level, health care provider characteristics, patient empowerment, shortage of resource, organizational capacity, shortage of specialty care, managerial skill, legislation related factor and organizational culture are identified as a barrier to practice patient centered care. Conclusion: Patient centered care practice in public hospitals had cheaply driven or hindered by multiple factors. Patient health literacy level, patient empowerment, and family and friend involvement in patient care were perceived as a tough barriers. Investing on the improvement of patient health literacy and patient empowerment may fasten the transformation of the current health care practice in to patient centered care practice in the healthcare setting.","PeriodicalId":101309,"journal":{"name":"Japanese journal of comprehensive rehabilitation science","volume":"54 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79032836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
