Libert","doi":"10.1016/S0222-0776(00)87250-8","DOIUrl":"10.1016/S0222-0776(00)87250-8","url":null,"abstract":"<div><p>Un mannequin calorimétrique ayant tes formes géométriques complexes d'un nouveau-né a été conçu pour mesurer les performances d'un incubateur radiant avec matelas chauffant pouvant être placé horizontalement ou en déclive. L'inclinaison du matelas augmente la distance entre te mannequin et la source radiante. Le mannequin reçoit plus de chaléur de la source radiante en position horizontale. En position inclinée, tes membres, intérieurs reçoivent moins de chaleur que tes autres segments. Le chauffage du matelas permet de réduire les pertes de chaleur du mannequin. La puissance de la source radiante diminue de 4,7 à 7,6 % lorsque te matelas est chauffé à une température supérieure à 33 °C. Cette diminution relativement faible correspond aux pertes de chaleur par conduction entre le mannequin et le mateias. En conclusion, if apparait que te placement d'un nouveau-né en position de déclive influence les températures cutanées locates. Les membres inférieurs ne bénéficient plus d'apport de chaleur. Dans les établissements hospitaliers, des scénarios et des stratégies sont élaborés afin d'assurer la sécurité des usagers dans toutes les éventualités de défaillance des matériels et dispositifs nécessaires à une bonne exécution des soins médicaux. De même, les industriels se préoccupent des moyens à mettre en œuvre pour pallier une défectuosité imprévue de leurs produits et répondre à toute demande de leurs clients. L'expérience de ces derniers mois est riche d'enseignements. Naepels","doi":"10.1016/S0222-0776(00)87253-3","DOIUrl":"10.1016/S0222-0776(00)87253-3","url":null,"abstract":"<div><p>The uterine electrohysterogram (EWG) has been recorded on the abdomen of pregnant women, from 19 to 37 weeks of gestation (WG), and processed in order to detect preterm delivery. The EHG being corrupted by different electromagnetic noises, we have developed specific algorithms, based on wavelet decomposition, for the denoising of the EHG. Classical parameters, extracted from the spectral and temporal representations and from the instantaneous frequency of the EHG, have permitted us to follow the solution of the signals during pregnancy, Furthermore, a discriminant analysis permitted us to evidence a difference between contractions leading to term or preterm deliveries, as soon as 30 WG Non-stationary parameters have then been computed from EHG signals, in order to follow the two electrical waves that are known on animal recordings to be related to contraction efficiency. The extraction and characterization of these waves are made by extracting the ridges of the scalogram, computed from the continuous wavelet transform. The instrumental part development has started with the analysis of maternal movement artifacts, and with the comparison of different kinds of electrodes, suitable for 24 hours recording.
