Saben que si bien su actividad no es tan importante económicamente para la comunidad, como en el caso de los lancheros de la reserva de la biosfera o los pescadores, reconocen el papel significativo de su trabajo para el rubro turístico como servicio complementario, sobre todo de parte de las artesanas y las mujeres dedicadas a la hotelería. Este trabajo tiene por objetivo explorar la participación económica y social desde una perspectiva de género y con el enfoque de la economía ecológica sobre las prácticas económicas de las mujeres en el proyecto ecoturístico de esta localidad.</p></div><div><p>Celestun women are really aware of their value in the economic and social life of their community, they play an important role as a revenue source for their families, sometimes they are the leading source an some other times they mean the only source of the household income. They realize that even if their activity is not as economically important for the community, as it is that of the boatmen of the biosphere reserve or even the fishermen, it can be acknowledged that their job has a significant role as a supplementary service for tourism, specially the labor of the craftswomen and of those women which work in the hospitality business. El objetivo es entender de qué manera las decisiones tomadas a nivel federal llegaron a los lugares más remotos y cuáles fueron las posibilidades reales para llevar a cabo, en dichas regiones, lo establecido por el gobierno federal. Se destaca, por ejemplo, que el impacto de esas políticas no fue homogéneo para todos los extranjeros pues entre libaneses y coreanos se pueden identificar algunas diferencias debido a sus propias características como grupos migratorios.</p></div><div><p>We analyze the implementation of restrictive and controlling federal immigration policies of the twenties and thirties of the twentieth century in Motul, Yucatan, a small and remote town from the center of the country. The goal is to understand how decisions made at the federal level reached the most remote places and what were the real possibilities to carry out, in these regions, as established by the federal government. Su historia es como la evolución de la sociedad de exclusión, segregación, integración y coeducación. Su transcurso ha determinado crisis estructurales con rasgos disruptivos y nuevos elementos. El Plan Nacional de Desarrollo 2013-2018 presenta tres ejes transversales que deberían ser incluidos en todos los programas de la administración pública; uno de ellos es la incorporación de la perspectiva de género para la igualdad entre mujeres y hombres, lo cual logrará la coeducación. México vive el periodo de la integración. Para la coeducación requiere de la participación de la educación informal y no formal en el logro de la igualdad de oportunidades en la familia, escuela, medios de comunicación y trabajo.</p></div><div><p>If education is a human right we need to change school paradigm, co-education is an alternative. This model requires the existence of educational scenarios that foster equal opportunities between women and men. Education history has changed with society development: exclusion, segregation, integration and coeducation. The evolution has caused structural crises with disruptive characteristics and new elements of other systems. The <em>National Development Plan in México 2013-2018</em> declares to include gender perspective to reach equality between women and men.
