Percutaneous balloon valvuloplasty is one of the main treatments for such patients, but this method is limited by the degree of mitral regurgitation. Here, we describe a 74-year-old patient with rheumatic mitral stenosis without calcification observed by transthoracic echocardiography and computed cardiac tomography, and no calcification was found in the mitral annulus. The score of Society of Thoracic Surgeons was 14.2%, with Wilkins score of 12.
